Artyom chuckled at the captain. "I am... Kais at your service." He said with a exaggerated bow. Artyom had never been one to trust new people with his real name. In fact in his entire life there had only been Four people who knew his real name, His parents, the guard captain martin and his last partner Kristina. of the four His parents were dead,The captain is a good man and Kristina...Well she is complicated "I hear you killed the queen Bravo, a lot of people wanted to do it, Few ever get out of the talking huff stage...Let alone actually to go through with it...Shame you got caught." he said in a bored tone.
Artyom knew she didn't do anything wrong, in fact he knew back at the inn that there would be people looking to hire him to break her out of jail. All he cared about was seeing her response, depending on how she answered he would help her or just leave her in the cell to rot. He hoped the Captain wasn't resigned to her fate, that she was unwilling to be used as a pawn in some great chess game. If she was then he would help her, just as he was once helped. Besides He had met the captain once before, she must have been just fresh into the military then, as she was just a regular soldier at the time. She had stopped a merchants guard from nearly killing him, just because the merchant suspected him of stealing.

Artyom was surprised by the woman before him, even as he approached he knew she was studying him. She would notice his above six foot height, his hazel green eyes, his short black hair, His black cloak with a hood, the sword at his hip and the throwing knives strapped to his chest.
Dominic keeled down next to Avery unsure of what to do. "Captain... if you keep going like this, you will die...and everyone who followed you will be left to clean up the mess." he said gently. He had never been good with people like the captain, but he had always been rather blunt with his speaking. "If you die before the deed is done...What kind of memory would that be? A captain that left behind her crew and got nothing done...now there is a sad sight." He said. While he spoke these words, Dominic couldn't help but well sorry for the captain, He knew the feeling of having a goal that he was willing to die for. He wanted to tell her that her crew needed her at her best, but he couldn't figure out a way to say it.
So what's the culture of the regiment. I know we are based on German jagers but do we follow similar customs like climbing to get the flower or the 40k equivalent to the whole 'god is with us' thing. Sorry for the maybe stupid questions. I'm a lore nerd so it's bugging me.
Hey, if possible can we get a list of important officers and commissars...both full and junior I guess.
Sorry was writing a post before, but got swamped with potatoes and goji berries.
Calth sat at the edge of his bunk cleaning his gear and occasionally commenting colorfully about how much he hated the Cadian armor. Sure is worked for Regular infantry, but for men like the 52nd it would be murder. None of the men had ever worn anything as heavy or cumbersome, even in the PDF almost all wore variants of the traditional uniform. Calth could already tell the armor would make climbing and infiltration harder then it already would be. First chance he got, he would dump the armor and get something respectable.

Calth sat on his bunk, checking through the contents of is standard issue Medical kit. The contents were a little lack luster but pretty much all he needed to keep his platoon alive. The Sound of unfamiliar voices at the entrance to the barracks snapped his attention away from his medical kit.
Putting down his kit Calth reached for his pack of pre-rolled Lho-sticks, watching as the Lancer verbal assault played out. With a sigh he looked to the man laying on his bunk next to Calth "Kaiser helfen ihnen ... Ihre Pferde weigern sich, sie zu ficken oder so?" he says in Jerman Causing the young trooper to chuckle "Sie brauchen ein Versteck. Wir sollten nicht zulassen, dass sie so sprechen." He responded quickly as he began to fiddle with his knife. With a slight smile Calth hands the boy a Lho-stick "Take a nap Kamerad, We are going to need it when we arrive to where ever we are going." He muttered in low gothic as he went back to counting the contents of his issued kit and ensuring everything is in working order.

Emperor knew Calth was a loyal guardsman, but there were times he wanted to space a couple of the Lancers. He knew some of the mwere alright, with a few being considered friends as they have on occasion traded Lho-sticks and alcohol. With a slight chuckle Calth thought about the sweet wine the Lancer officers and NCO's enjoyed, compared to the Uzanian stock of alcohol which tasted bitter and knocked most outsiders on there arse.
Dominic couldn't help but take notice of the captains health. 'Well...she seems...not in the best of health' he thought as he moved to help her. "Looks like you could use a rest...won't do the crew any good if their captain collapsed from... fatigue I assume."
Dominic frowned slightly as he listened. "So why are we following them? Or more to the point who are we following?" He said before the captain stumbled "You need rest..." He said sternly.
Dominic Nodded as he entered. "Yes Ma'am I'm ready if need be. Where are we to go to port?" He asked as he took a quick look at the chart table. "You alright ma'am? you seem...Very unwell..." he asked gently. While he hadn't known her long, Dominic couldn't help but be worried about her. "Well an unwell captain...seems my life expectancy has dropped even more then before.." he thought bitterly.
Dominic quickly walked up to the captains cabin, unable to come to terms with the crew 'Such an odd group of people.' he thought with a chuckle, not to say he hated the crew, they seemed like they cared about each other more then some other groups he worked with. A small smile spread across his face as he came upon the captains door.
"Captain, Ma'am It's Dominic!" He calls out as he knocked on the door loudly.
