Luna looked at the girl's leg and immediately started tearing moss up from the ground. "I'll help you, I had to do this kind of stuff for my dad all the time when we went camping." She wrapped the moss around the girl's wound and tied it tightly with vines that hung from some of the trees. "That should do," she said and wiped her blood stained hands on her flannel pajama pants. She gathered more moss and vines and put them in reach of the girl. She took one look at the girl's chapped, cracked lips and knew the girl hadnt had water for days. She really needs water Luna thought.
Suddenly, a high pitched voice whispered in Luna's ear, "I can help."
Luna turne quickly and saw a small, green winged creature hovering in the air. It had tiny pointed ears and large, yellow almod shaped eyes. Two little fangs stuck out from its mouth and its two arms and two legs hung in the air.
"How can you help and how did you know what I was thinking?" Luna asked, startled.
"I am a Sanguis and I am summomded when someone is in dire need. I can supply you with your greatest need...but thee is a price!" The sanguis giggled delightedly in its high pitched voice.
"What's the price?" Luna asked warily.
"Blood!" It shrieked with pleasure, "Let me suck some of her blood and I shall give you a spring flowing with water!"
Luna frowned, "She's lost enough blood, it's her choice, though." Luna turned to her
