Bio

Welcome to my profile page

You found it

I guess it really isn't that hard though either.

I've been on this site for two years and I haven't written a bio, but I figured it's better late than never :P

I like to play a variety of different characters, but most tend to be humans in a modern setting. I feel like I tend to relate better if they're human, and I like roleplay plots that center more around the characters themselves and character development, versus magic or some "quest" going on.

My favorite genres are modern, slice of life, horror, and a good helping of romance on the side. However, I dislike 1x1 roleplays and like for romance to be a casual side plot rather than the center of the roleplay.

I enjoy characters with unusual personalities, but are fairly normal and well adjusted. They don't need pages of backstory or personality, they just need to sound believable to me.

I started roleplaying online about 7 years ago, and I was doing tabletop roleplaying a few years before that. I still actively participate in table top games, and my interest in roleplaying online waxes and wanes.

I like to write a lot, but I find the standards in a lot of advanced roleplaying sections to be rather intimidating, so I stick to casual or free roleplays.

I (like many other people on this site), think wayy too much about their characters and their backstories. I really hope to animate one day or get my characters out to the world in a more professional way, but for now I enjoy roleplaying them and seeing how they change and develop.

Thanks for reading :)

Damien Chattaway

Done with reeling from being woken up so early, Damien stood up from his bed and gingerly walked out to the living room. He was still feeling groggy and didn't appreciate the rude awakening, but he decided to put it aside for now. He supposed he would have to get on with his day at some point. He also faced the fact he was probably going to have to go out to Starbucks before getting all his makeup done. Everyone wanted to use the restroom, Damien included, but he didn't have the energy right now to get tangled up in that mess. He saw that Bradley, Aria, and Kejirah were already in the living room.

"I just want to let you all know that I hate everyone here," he said sweetly, "Oh, except for Aria, Didi, Aulora, Sol and Bradley. You guys are great." He stood near the hallway entrance and casted a glance over his shoulder. "So when are we going? I don't want to wait too much longer." He fiddled with his silver earring.
Here's my wip character form as well:
Oh my God, this sounds like an awesome roleplay. I definitely love the humor. Interested!

Damien

Damien glowered at Quartz as his favorite cream microfiber plush throw, the linens, woven acrylics, and other layers of blankets were stripped away. His nostrils flared angrily but he was still feeling too groggy to think of a comeback yet. He wouldn't forget this though, no, he was certain that karma would enact it's justice on them in the near future.

He begrudgingly propped himself up to a sitting position when Kajirah leaned into the doorway and hollered at him. "I think this is a very inconsiderate way to be treating a friend right now, but whatever, that's fine. I'll play along with your little games." He rose up from his pull out bed, the light grey peusdo-matress frame making various squeaking noises as he got up. He lumbered over to the closet and unenthusiastically flipped through the clothing articles hanging up before picking a out a shirt that was probably Quartz's and a nice pair of black slim jeans (those were his).

He sat back down on the edge of his bed, not looking anymore awake than before, and messed with his hair. He could hear the commotion going on between Kejirah and Aulora. Maybe I should go turn off the water heating...no, that's not clever enough. I'll come up with something later.
"I see. Do you know what happened to this friend? Perhaps I could help."
The man was startled when he felt someone elbow him lightly in his side. He turned to look and saw that there was someone else standing next to him. "Oh, uh, hey there. Didn't see you coming. I don't know if I'm the right person to ask about what's happenin', but I'd reckon that the tall shadow here," the dark haired man gestured towards the shadowy appiration next to him. "wants to gather up all these "odd ones". Haven't a clue what that means, really. Sorry." The man drawled in a low, quiet voice. "My name's Haireth, by the way." He added, shyly.
Damien

Damien, quite unconsciously, rolled over in his bed as Kejirah started making racket and yelling at them through the door. It was only through her continued carrying on that he eventually opened his eyes, but even then, it was another few minutes before he could actually piece together what was going on.

"Could you tell her to knock it off already?" Damien grumbled at Quartz, his roommate.

"She's five hours too early. I'm not moving." Damien defiantly pulled up the blankets over his head to block out the noise as be curled back up. As far as he was concerned, he was going nowhere at this time of day.
Alright, for those of you who are here, I posted the rooms on the main post. I'm gonna the IC very soon.

Awesome. I can't wait to start
The young man raised his eyebrow as the theatrics continued. The goblinoid was full of tricks, it seemed. The cloaked man seemed to have dominion over the beasts, and the cat sounded like the ringleader of this whole charade.

"So...you're tryin to bring in more 'odd ones'?" the dark haired man said slowly, still trying to process everything. He wasn't quite sure that he was in the right place, but he was interested in what this shadowy man was orchestrating here.
