I've been on this site for two years and I haven't written a bio, but I figured it's better late than never :P
I like to play a variety of different characters, but most tend to be humans in a modern setting. I feel like I tend to relate better if they're human, and I like roleplay plots that center more around the characters themselves and character development, versus magic or some "quest" going on.
My favorite genres are modern, slice of life, horror, and a good helping of romance on the side. However, I dislike 1x1 roleplays and like for romance to be a casual side plot rather than the center of the roleplay.
I enjoy characters with unusual personalities, but are fairly normal and well adjusted. They don't need pages of backstory or personality, they just need to sound believable to me.
I started roleplaying online about 7 years ago, and I was doing tabletop roleplaying a few years before that. I still actively participate in table top games, and my interest in roleplaying online waxes and wanes.
I like to write a lot, but I find the standards in a lot of advanced roleplaying sections to be rather intimidating, so I stick to casual or free roleplays.
I (like many other people on this site), think wayy too much about their characters and their backstories. I really hope to animate one day or get my characters out to the world in a more professional way, but for now I enjoy roleplaying them and seeing how they change and develop.
Daymienne rolled his eyes, "I was asking if today was the first day for the new kids at the mansion," he smiled as he noticed Kludd had wrapped his wing around him, "but you obviously don't care about the new kids, judging how you didn't realize they were coming."
The alarm clock was well past noon. Or, well, probably anyways. If it was even set correctly in the first place. Though he was only halfway on the bed, Daymienne was soundly passed out. He twitched a little in his sleep and muttered something. It wasn't until the sunlight from the window became an intense glare on his face that he finally opened his eyes. The daemon continued to lay there for several moments, remaining motionless. He debated back and forth about whether he should go back to sleep or if he wanted to get up. He raised his head and looked over at the other shape in the bed,
"Hey, Kludd, is today the first day or was that yesterday? Maybe it was tomorrow. Actually, I don't even know," He stretched and scooted over closer to his boyfriend.
Name: Daymienne Nickname: None Age: Hard to judge, vaguely appears to be in his twenties, but is undoubtedly older than that. Gender: Male Species: Daemon Abnormality: Daymienne is a little different from other Daemons based on his personal beliefs and outlook. While a lot of daemons might be comitted to spreading destruction and chaos, Daymienne feels the compulsion to do so to a much lesser extent. He also feels more comfortable around humans than those of his own kind. Meeting other Daemons (or any sort of hellish creature) tends to put him on edge. Lastly, he's looked at as a bit of an oddity for falling in love with an angel, which most abyssal creatures have historically hated. Other:
"You don't know my mind You don't know my kind Dark Necessities are part of my design"
Room #: 11
Abilities:
Enchanced Speed: Pretty self explanatory, but basically Daymienne can run faster than the average human can. However, he is about as fast as an Olympic runner would be, on average. He could push himself to be faster than that, but it is quite tiring for him.
Super Jumping: Can jump very high. He can jump 2' straight into the air, and jump 5' going across. Can double or triple his jumping distance with a running start.
Night Vision: Can't see in complete darkness, but can see clearly in places dimly illuminated, such as by moonlight or a candle.
Acute Hearing and Taste: Hears things about 2x times better than a human can, and has discriminatory taste, an example would be naming out all the individual ingredients in a pie or being able to taste trace amounts of poisoning in a substance.
Heat Detection: He has 'false eyes' underneath his real ones which aid him in tracking down humans when necessary. However, they are very vague and cannot pinpoint direct locations of people.
Also I can't choose a favorite food, but I really like Indian food. Any and all of it

I guess it really isn't that hard though either.
