and it was all Qui Gons fault for saving Jar Jar.

It was all Palpatine's fault for sending Qui-Gon.

Ooops, I guess it was his fault all along.

Lets just blame Palpatine for kicking us off Coruscant.

Blame Anakin for stopping Mace from killing the evil Palpy.

Shivasten were already in the bar and had heard Erin whisper about us being Jedi. Thanks Erin. Also he did take half of the bad guys with him.

Hey, if we're really going to point fingers here, point them at Kolinn, who suggested Erin ask for a Jedi.

Or Kolinn, who lead them to the bar.

Or Vor'loch, who let Kolinn lead them.

Or...I could keep going if you like? :P
Okay, in an effort to put the pieces of this battle together, let me try to recap.

  • 3 Shistavanens enter the bar, Vor'loch lightwhips them and pushes Kolinn, Erin and Jerek out of the way.

  • The rest of the bar turns on Vor'loch, who draws their fire and runs (gee, thanks, master).

  • A group of Weequay arrive at the bar and start shooting (wait, at who? The Jedi Padawans? Okay)

  • Balkk and Embo arrive on the side of the Weequay. They're not quite through the door yet (forgot to engage in combat this round? oh well).

  • Beskad's Mandos arrive (in an explosive entrance, courtesy of a wall that is no longer standing) on the side of the Jedi and start shooting at the Weequay.

  • Crim arrives and enters from the back. Jedi, obvi.

  • Innuel and Remmy hightail it outta there, followed by Kolinn. Innuel and Kolinn engage the Weequay who follow, and Remmy hops in their ship.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong so far.

Once Jake posts, we'll know the fate of Erin, and then I'll post what Jerek's been up to.
Yeah, I'm still trying to get used to working full time this summer, I find my evenings are too short to concentrate on writing. I hope to have something up this weekend, after Jake's post of course.
Nah, I'll get this. Thanks for the offer, though.

Vivid, clearly the ghost writers excelled with some characters over others. How I wish Applegate had come back and written those 'tougher' books instead, just to ensure that her characters were true to her vision.

Ugh Cassie.

Haha. As I read through them again, I've developed a ranking order of my favorites. Marco tops it, followed by Tobias and Ax, then Cassie, Jake and then Rachel. I don't know if it's that the ghost writers butcher Rachel or she just gets really terrible books, but I never really enjoy reading her perspective very much. Same with Jake since the Applegate/ghost writer switchover.

Marco, however, has actually improved, so there's that.
Ahh, English.

As an engineering major I cannot relate to this thread.

Pretty much the same for Computer Science. Have degree, will hire.
Seriously, I'm a terrible person. Still trying to get used to my work schedule, it's left me with (what I perceive as) little time in the evenings. Sorry for holding up the boat, I'm working on a post and it should be finished soon (today?).

In the meantime, feast your eyes on today's XKCD: http://xkcd.com/1380/

(We will have an entire wing of the library devoted to copies of book #26, because ohmygod it's the one where Jake and Cassie finally KISS!!!)

You wouldn't even believe how many effing spoilers we get. Though it's not always from book-readers - my cousin's fiance decided to post up a picture of the end of s4e8 the morning after it showed here - and as it shows only on one channel that very few people have (Sky Atlantic) at 2am, the Monday morning was the very first opportunity almost anybody would have had to see it. And he spoiled it. I was raging.

A few Facebook pages for shows sometimes do this themselves on a regular basis. Those get canned from my feed VERY quickly.
