Name: Aera Blitzfield

Appearance: Standing at about 5'2, Aera has an athlethic build that is often overlooked due to her stature. She has short, feathery dark brown hair that looks attractively unkempt. Her eyes are a deep shade of green, emphasized by the cubic emerald pendant on her necklace. She tends to wear button downs with shorts and dislikes clothing that cover too much of her legs. She also often wears a captain's hat, given to her by her mother.

Hometown: Xuan

Personality: Aera is a fairly serious person; it is difficult to get past her barriers, and as a result, she seems standoffish and impersonal at times. This does not mean that she is quiet, however. When the situation calls for it, she speaks her mind and does not back down easily. This stubbornness is both a strength and a weakness; teamwork is difficult for her if she does not trust the leader. Despite all this, deep down, Aera is an idealistic person and will be the type to die for true friends.

Relic Description: Aera has three earrings in her right ear and two on her left. Each earring has one gemstone embedded in it and an additional inscription is made for every natrelmon captured.

History: Aera grew up in the city of Xuan, where the Blitzfields are a famous fishing family reknowned for making the largest catches every year. Their family, being relatively well off, has managed to support the town and won public support. Aera's widowed mother was a soldier in her younger days, and while she hasn't seen combat in a while, she made it a point to train her only daughter the basics of survival alongside passing to her the legendary fishing skill of the Blitzfields. Nowadays, Aera roams Nerta to find the ultimate catch and bring pride to the Blitzfield name.

Professions: Tamer, Mage

Noteworthy Skills: Aera has a natural talent for fishing and swimming, being raised in a fishing town, and can catch marine prey with the most rudimentary equipment available, as well as hold her breath underwater for extended periods of time. She is also adept at close quarter combat, being trained by her mother.

Anybody interested in an RP with urban legends, college kids, and rebellion?

Setting:
Just about 20-30 years in the future. Technology is slightly more advanced, and a lot more stuff is reliant on the internet than it is today. The story takes place in an international city. No supernatural powers, despite the urban legends part (which may or may not be real). That doesn't mean your characters can't pretend though. ;)

Plot:
The thing is supposed to start as an internet phenomenon that is discussed in a forum (yes, very unoriginal and meta, I know) where a group of college kids decide to explore urban legends for a class assignment (probably sociology, because it justifies the permissive teacher). Then they find out more about the city than they would like to. Character death may be a possibility, but I'll think about it when I flesh things out.

Characters:
Despite the story revolving around college kids, they're not the only ones who live in a city. You can be a bum, or an important CEO, or a dog walker for all I care, so long as it's well-explained and it fits into the setting. I despise God-modding, so if you do try that out, I will hand out repercussions. That said, I love reading creative CSes, so don't be afraid to try things out. It would be great if there were varied nationalities, since it is an international city after all.

Sorry I haven't been able to post lately. Lack of internet and a workstation has dissuaded me from trying. Plus, no one seemed intent on starting a conversation IC so never tried to post. I'll wait for the next dungeon to start for I have hardly anything to post for school.

The True Self - Persona

Alright, second attempt. I decided to do a dude this time for the Devil Arcana~

Aki Hirata

Name: Aki Hirata

Appearance:



Aki looks attractive in the same way that people find glass sculptures attractive - beautiful, yet breakable. He has a bony build despite a healthy appetite and is about 5'5 in height, relatively short compared to his peers. His hair is bleached, which lends to his eerie appearance.

Arcana: Devil

Personality: At first glance, Aki seems like a normal boy, if a little too quiet. He tends to experience drastic mood swings from time to time, ranging from manic hyperactive enthusiasm to morbid depressive episodes. These moods tend to be triggered by specific stimuli though, and so long as he avoids these stimuli, all should prove well. Aki's a charmer when he's in one of his mellower moods.

Equipment/Skills:

Aki often carries around a good sized screwdriver with changeable heads. He may not look it, but he's pretty handy at DIY projects. This often comes in handy whenever the old folks down by the homes for the aged ask him to make birdhouses or fix their televisions.

He often spends his time around the elderly as a volunteer at the local home for the aged. For some reason, hanging around the dying and keeping them entertained amuses him.

Background:

Aki's lived in Warakuma town all his life, since there was simply nowhere else to go. The reason behind Aki's apparent strangeness is an imbalance in his brain chemistry that is easily cured with psychiatric medication. Unfortunately, coming from a relatively poor family, Aki's parents can only afford to give him half the prescribed dosage. He's learned to live with his condition relatively well, though the random fits of aggression he is predisposed to does estrange him from some people.
