I am very interested, EarthBound/Mother is one of my favourite series'.
It's cool, I was just making sure dude.
Is someone going to post? It's kind of the gm's turn since I posted. Sorry if this sounds rude, I'm just making sure.
Aleks stood firm and he saw the old man coming for him, he must have noticed the yawn. Then he started asking if he was tired. Him of all people asks if I'm tired. The rings around this guys eyes meant he either hadn’t slept in years or he’s gotten into his mom’s makeup collection and didn’t know how much eye makeup was too much. Aleks thought to himself. Despite this he gave a ready answer, still a nervous about messing it up.

“I am Aleks Gurav from a small town outside of the Hermiha District, and yourself sir?” Why had he added that last part? He was trying to be polite and he was nervous but now was not the time to be asking questions of his own. He could only hope it wouldn’t result in anything major for himself, but after seeing him send off the other one to run all those laps he was definitely expecting the worst.
Aleks held his salute firm despite the beating sun. He had been standing here for a while trying to listen to the drill sergeants yelling but it all sort of just melted into a continuous noise that he didn’t care enough about to decipher. It was probably something about them being failures and they’re never going to make it and overall stuff he didn’t need to hear. He instead started watching some birds circle overhead, like the massive group was just another carcass to be picked to the bone. He was sure that was how the drill instructor saw it. Stifling a yawn and scratching his back Aleks realized he was letting his guard down. He snapped his arms back to the salute position and tried to focus on the old mans words. All he did was rant and rave though, and his eyes had dark rings and were sunken in. Had this guy not slept since the wall fell? It definitely wouldn’t be a surprise. For now all Aleks could do was stand in line like a good little soldier boy and hope that maybe he was short enough not to be noticed by the old man if he went picking on people.
Name: Aleks Gurav

Age: 16

Cadet or Civilian?: Cadet

Cultural Descent (i.e. Polish, Italian, etc. Asian is not allowed, as this is sidelining the canon and Mikasa is the only known (half)asian left):Russian

Strongest skill: Agility

General skills: Drawing. Gymnastics related things. Good at growing plants such as flowers or vegetables.

Weakest skill: Strength

Weapons: The usual maneuver gear and blades

Appearance: Aleks is a pale boy who stands at about 5’4”. He has medium length messy dark brown hair that he hardly ever takes the effort to groom into anything other than a ruffled mess. He has a pretty light build which sort of matches his short demeanor in a way. His eyes are a nice dark shade of green. He has multiple scars on his knees from all of his falls he took while learning to do his acrobatic tricks.

Personality: Aleks is often kind of joking and sarcastic. He tries not to take things too seriously because you’ll drive yourself crazy thinking about everything 100% serious at all time. He can say the wrong thing sometimes and mess up the intention of his words. He still tries his best with words and people but he’s socially awkward with people, even friends. Despite his usual attitude under pressure he can’t usually find it in himself to make a joke or even speak when not nessecary.

History: Aleks had lived in a small town with his parents and all went well for a while. The family got by on an honest living but it didn’t last forever. When wall Maria fell the town was far enough away that they weren’t immediately affected but were still made to evacuate. This understandably caused panic but with little people to control the townsfolk anarchy ensued. It was a terrifying experience for young Aleks but what was worse was that in the panic his mom had been killed. They had lost track of her for a moment and when they had found her again she had a slit throat in an alleyway. After that Aleks’s father took him to the evacuation zone for his safety and the two made it to safety. They lived in a larger town now but much more crowded and with far less food. Aleks decided he would join the military to stop this kind of stuff from happening. He knew first hand it wasn’t just the physical being of titans that plagued humanity, it was the constant fear and thought of them.

Other: Aleks actually keeps a journal to write things he feels are important. While the writing in the journal is getting scarce he still finds time every so often to write in it and the pace at which he does so is increasing.

(It's 3 am as I post this so if there's any mistakes or things you feel should be changed tell me.)
I've read the manga up to the current part.
I am definitely interested.
