Does your country's flag have a dragon on it? Didn't think so!

With nobody else stepping forward Robert gripped the weapons provided to him and approached the testing area. The M16A3 was not a weapon he was overly familiar and from first impressions, it was was not something he was fond of. He was used to making use of his thermal scope to help him see threw the smoke screens he'd throw out in advance of his breach. Unfortunately he'd have to make do with what he was given. He approached the building carefully before leaning up against the wall near the front door. He cautiously let loose the wheeled camera drone that Rainbow made extensive use of and began to scout the building.

After an initial period without luck he eventually found a vent that lead straight into what appeared to be the kitchen. Rounding the counter he spotted one of the enemies hiding behind it, luckily for him they were focussing the other way. He quickly shot through an open doorway to his left past a bathroom and turned to see an empty corridor with a nearby window. There's a possible entry point.

Continuing on he found himself looking directly at the front door, before moving onto the dining room. A further two enemies patrolled around the table, unaware of the drone entering the room. Backing up to the reception area he turned right into what he assumed was an office space. Unfortunately as he caught sight of a leg behind the desk the signal cut out, presumably the drone being disabled. He rose to his feet and carefully moved past the front door to where he initially decided to breach. This really isn't ideal. He continued around to the boarded up windows of the kitchen and set up a breach charge. Without my gear there isn't much else I can do...no guts no glory.

With detonator in hand Rob returned to his chosen breach point and readied himself. He tapped at his wrist to activate his Ghost system, just in case there were any cameras within the building. With a deep breath he blew the breach charge, busting through the wooden panels of his entry point at the same time. He hoped to hide his entry point with the explosion of the breach charge. As his feet hit the floor he moved quickly, pulling the pin on a smoke grenade before throwing it into the reception area. Approaching the kitchen he leant to his left, pistol now in hand. With the sound of smoke emitting he entered the kitchen doorway and shot the enemy hidden behind the counter, two rubber bullets hitting them in the chest. Quickly he drew another smoke grenade and aimed for the far doorway in the kitchen, unaware of anyone who might be waiting there for him.

He approached the doorway of the office and peered in, only able to see the smoke of the reception as the door blocked his view to the desk. Remembering seeing feet behind the desk he crouched near the door, being careful not to give himself away. Without hesitation he emerged from behind the doorway and unloaded three rounds, one of which catching the enemy behind the desk on the helmet. Robert quickly took position behind the desk, being careful not to trip over the 'dead' enemy. From his position he moved towards the doorway of the room he had not seen yet. He peered around the corner and immediately came under a hail of rubber bullets, quickly returning to cover. He could just about make out one person at the far end of the room, hidden behind the television and cabinet beneath. He looked at the door in front of him and quickly lunged for the handle, pulling it shut tight, returning to his position against the wall. A further barrage of rubber bullets impacted on the door but soon stopped, giving him the opportunity to move towards the reception area. He returned his pistol to it's holster and took the M16A3 in hand.

With the smoke now dissipated in the reception he took a knee and peered around the corner into the dining room. He spotted one of the two men and immediately opened fire fully automatic, dropping his target. Rounds ricocheted off the wall near him forcing him back into cover. Peering back out he sprayed several rounds in the assumed direction of the attacker, spotting him tucked away in the windowed alcove at the back of the room. Returning to cover once more he readied himself for a make or break moment, peering out and unleashing another hail of bullets. They found their mark and his target dropped to the floor with a thud.

Entering the now clear dining room he shut the door near the dining rooms entrance and carefully crept across the wall to his left, keeping on the far side of the dining table. He reloaded his weapon and carried on to the far end of the room. He came back towards the large opening that looked into the living room and carefully scanned the room, appearing to be clear. As the moved around and around he eventually came into view of the enemy from earlier, a quick pull of the trigger dispatching them as they focussed on the door he had shut previously. There can't be that many left...

Leaping over the small wall he approached the door way behind the enemy he had just took out. It was then his eyes locked onto something, but it was too late. Several rubber bullets caught him painfully on the shin, firing from the barrel of a gun emerging from the darkness underneath a bed in the next room. Rob took a knee and raised his hand to admit defeat, using his other to rub at the painful points of impact. "Ah shit..." He rose to his feet as the person emerged from the bed. When they revealed themselves Robert realised it was Mark "Mute" Chandar, a smile of satisfaction stretched across his face as he removed his mask. They had grown close, having few met previously several times while based at Hereford. "I knew it'd be you...sod's fucking law." Mark laughed before replying, "Fucking way she goes mate. Seriously though, you need to avoid just jumping into firing lines like that. These pricks will hide in a cupboard if they think they'll get the jump on you. We are not dealing with conventional enemies here." Rob nodded and gave Mark a thumbs ups. "Cheers Mark. I'd best get going."

As Rob left the building through the front door he dropped the shemagh from around his face, removed his glasses and undid his helmet. He approached the awaiting group and shook his head to signal his failure. He didn't say much beyond that, it'd be pointless. Nobody would learn if they were given an advantage...besides, they would likely move around for each person. He returned his weapons to the point he picked up from and took a seat to watch the others step up and take their turns.
@Andromedai If memory serves correctly at the end of ME3 it was hinted that the quarians might get to leave the envirosuits behind. Would this be a thing in this RP? I'm asking just out of curiosity And since I've already selected the powers for my character, it is safe to say I will be taking part in this

Iโ€™d assume after 100 years with some major immune system therapy that they could in theory leave their suits.
Awesome stuff. Iโ€™ll get a post up tomorrow.
Heh. DNA augments are popular it seems.

Given the first two characters had them, I thought it'd be an appropriate option. Just didn't want to go full robocop :

Also...i'm clearly gonna have to change his codename
I thought i'd make him N7 initially because it at least gives him somewhere to go throughout the story i.e. Spectre. If you need anything changed, just let me know.

Iโ€™m in. Havenโ€™t even read a word beyond the title....but Iโ€™m in!

*Edit* Have now read everything...Happy Ending mod...even more in! Going to start work on CS now.
@Liotrent That was basically what I was going for
@Sifter@Bee

Seeing as I did logo's for everyone else, here are yours. Use them...dont use them...it's cool either way
