With the rest of the crew off in their quarters Gaz was left alone with only the hum of the engines for companionship. He moved to the table the others had been playing on and moved two chairs next to each other to support is large posterior. With his thick fingers he carefully picked up the deck of cards and began to put them face up on the table. The sheer size of his heads meant he could just about fit an entire playing card on his finger tip. That made things difficult for him but if he was going to fit in, he should probably get used to it. While he talked a big game and lived a gore ridden existence he did hope for some level of companionship. Who was he meant to get one up on if he had nobody else around? That thought was the moment he realised he, like most others creatures of the universe, needed friends.
He continued to place cards on the table face up, dealing them out across the table as if he had joined in. He looked down at what would be his hand and compared it to the other three hands. "Urgh! Deez ain't da same!" In front of him were the queen of hearts and ten of hearts. He looked out across the table at the others spotting two pairs, one of which was two aces. "Argh!" He then began to put the first three community cards face up on table. Jack of hearts, king of hearts, ace of hearts. What followed next was the throwing of the cards across the room. "SCREW THIS GAME!" As the cards floated to the ground through the air Gaz left the table and headed to his quarters sulking and stomping his feet.
@FiroIV i've made the adjustments you requested and moved it over. I'm going to flesh out the bullet points later I just need to catch up on some RP's a sec.
History: Leo was born in Wales in the United Kingdom to a pair of loving parents. His father was an investment banker who often travelled back and for to London while his mother was the typical housewife. Without having to worry about money and having loving parents his upbriging was nothing short of perfect.
In school he excelled both academically in in terms of his sporting ability but he would always long to be outside. He enjoyed being in nature and exploring everything that it had to offer. Whether it would be wandering up the tree covered valleys or following a fast flowing river, Leo just loved to be outside.
At the age of sixteen he and his family moved to Seattle after his father got a senior position within a bank that operated out of the city. The move was big for Leo and his younger brother Matt having to leave behind their friends and family but ultimately it was the best thing for them. The money his father would earn meant that neither would ever want for anything again, even Leo's own future grandkids would be able to live comfortably if the money was managed properly.
In the years that followed Leo graduated university with a degree in Environmental Science and found himself a job as a park ranger in the nearby Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park. It was his dream job and because of his fathers wealth, he could afford to make the job work. A park ranger didn't earn much but his parents subsidised him so that he could use everything he earned to enjoy his life. They bought him a car and an open plan apartment that he would never be able to afford even if he saved every penny from his job for ten years.
At the age of twenty two he met Michelle, a woman whose outer beauty was only surpassed by her personality. She was a loving, caring and deeply thoughtful woman who worked as a nurse. While a couple of years older than Leo, they quickly hit it off and found themselves in a relationship in no time. They spent time travelling the world together, taking in everything it had to offer.
Then shortly before Leo's twenty seventh birthday Michelle was involved in a car accident that cost her life. A car being chased by the police crossed an intersection and ploughed straight into the side of Michelle's car, killing her on impact. Leo had lost a massive part of his life and fell into a dark place. He struggled for years to get over the loss and it is only recently that he has began to return to some level of normality. Being able to laugh or joke, to feel genuine happiness has only just started to come back to him and it all ties into meeting Angel.
Friendship & Affection: While the pair cannot communicate, Angel is one of Leo's closest friends and is highly protective of him. However once she realises that someone is no threat to him she calms down and becomes very friendly. Each would risk their life for the other if needed.
History: The pair have lived together for close to a year and have taken part in a couple of battles with mixed results. She is a loving creature but does have a side to her that likes to fight, even when she is at a clear disadvantage. There was one instance where Angel stopped Leo getting mugged by two men by emitting the long fabled "brown" note causing the muggers bowels to open involuntarily.
Trivia: • Loves heavy metal. • Has completely retained his Welsh accent.
Prologue: While walking through the park during his shift he was distracted by a high pitched noice but put it off as being his ears playing tricks on him. As he continued to walk the sound became louder and louder, his head beginning to ache at the constant noise. He began to move at a quick pace and followed the ever increasing volume of the noise. He pushed through the thick bushes of the forestry and stopped in shock when he saw where the sound came from. For years growing up he had played pokemon and knew each and every single one by name and what lay in front of him was most definitely a noibat. It was clearly crying and as such emitted the devastatingly loud noise.
Leo approached cautiously and spoke softly to try and reassure the pokemon. When it spotted him the high pitched sound disappeared and made way for sniffing and muted groaning. It's sad face melted Leo's heart and made him feel something for the first time since he had lost Michelle. He knelt down and carefully caressed the pokemon behind the ear. With tear filled eyes it looked up to Leo and pointed at it's right with with the talon of its other wing. The top of it was mishapen and clearly damaged. However she came to exist in the world, she had clearly fallen from a great height and damaged her wing. Leo carefully took off his jacket and picked the pokemon up, taking it back to his work cabin.
In the days that followed Leo took care of the pokemon and named her Angel. Within two weeks she was back to full health and flying around like nothing had happened. Leo tried to release her into the wild, thinking it would be best for her to be out in nature but every time he tried she always returned. The pair had bonded and so began their friendship.
Angel moved into the apartment with Leo shortly after and the pair had done well to hide her as they moved around. However one of the people in Leo's apartment spotted Angel and approached him, telling him about an underground movement for people who had discovered pokemon in the real world. Leo and Angel have now been active there for several months.

ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ From an early age Leolin was identified as a potential recruit for the Dragoon's due to his family having a strong history within the unit. Almost as soon as he could walk he was groomed to be the next generation of wyvern rider. As he grew he showed great promise both in terms of his riding ability and his skill with a spear.
On his eighth birthday he was introduced to his wyvern who was given the name Y Ddraig Goch in the old tongue. With it's red skin and pearly white chest plating, the creature was a sight to behold. With both Leolin and his new wyvern still in their early lives the two bonded almost immediately. Rather than using the wyverns full name Leo simply called him Draig.
By time his eighteenth birthday had arrived Leo and Draig had not missed a day together, taking to the sky each and every day to train and grow their bond. What came during his eighteenth year was his first experience of combat, sent out to deal with a roving band of barbarians operating out of mountains near Valennia. His first experience of live combat went as well as could be hoped and this continued on in the years that followed.
Within the next three years Leo found himself being promoted to one of the most elite Dragoon squads within the entirety of Raelin. His father and grandfather had both served in the squad and so his family through a party unlike anything Leolin had seen before. Live music, entertainers and a kings feast made the time fly by. The highlight of the night however was the passing on of the Spear of Light, a weapon Leo's grandfather had found in a battle long ago. With his new weapon Leolin's proficiency in combat was even more on show as he swept his foes aside one by one. Within one year his entire world would change.
After four years of success as a Dragoon he and his squad were sent on a mission to a small village on the outskirts of Raelin's border with Escain. They were told that the village was a cover for an arms factory, used to arm guerilla fighters attempting to claim revenge against Raelin. The assault was to happen under the cover of darkness.
Leolin arrived at the village moments after the battle had begun and immediately realised he had made a huge mistake. Women and children ran from their burning homes aflame, their skin cooked by the heat of the aerial wyvern assault. Leo and Draig stood and watched as the rest of the squad slaughtered the village and its inhabitants. Within ten minutes of the assault starting the screams of the villagers had ceased to make way for the noise of the roaring flames. Leo punched the unit leader and called him out on what happened. The response was a smirk and words he'll never forget, "They are sat on a ton of gold, keep your mouth shut and you'll be rich kid." What followed was a barrage of punches from Leo that resulted in him taking the butt end of a spear to the back of the head, blacking out.
When Leo came around he was locked in a cell on charges of mutiny, treason and conspiracy. He expected to spend his life locked up or stood in front of the Raelin people for a public execution. When all seemed lost a man in a long cloak entered the cell. He introduced himself as nothing more than "a friend". The robes gave him away as someone of significant importance in the King's inner circle. He offered Leo his freedom but only because of his fathers service to the King previously. There were a couple of conditions however. Leo would lose his position within the Dragoons and have to sign a document admitting to conspiring to overthrow the command structure of the Dragoons. Reluctantly he signed the document and was released.
His armour and spear was returned on release and he was reunited with Draig. With his family name in tatters his return home was nothing but cold. After the pride they had shown him for his accomplishments, he was now shown nothing but hatred. They demanded he leave and never return to the family home, cursing his name as he left.
In the time that followed Leolin spent his time travelling, trying to find a reason to live. While resting at a makeshift camp so that Draig could drink from a river, he was distracted by a large rumbling. Approaching the river was a group of wagons, the lead wagon driven a portly man. Pulling to a stop the man introduced himself as Pelago, the leader of the Gracious Songbird Circus. The two spoke for a while before Pelago made him an offer, work for the circus as an aerial daredevil and earn a wage until he was ready to do whatever he could. Leolin accepted figuring that he had nothing to lose.
What Leo discovered was a family environment that surpassed his own upbringing. As a child it was all about becoming a Dragoon, day and night. Pelago and his troupe were all about the individual and what they wanted, something that made Leolin happier than he had been for a long time.
His time in the troupe was a constant source of fun and enjoyment, even Draig took to the other members. In his time as a Dragoon the wyvern was very reluctant to let anyone get close who wasn't Leo. Both had grown more during their time in the circus than at any other point in their lives. Much like his time as a Dragoon though, his happiness in the Circus would soon come to an end.
As he often did, Leolin flew ahead to the troupes destination to start getting interest amongst the populace. Handing out posters and speaking to members of the public was usually enough to get some excitement. If it wasn't then there was always Draig to get the children excited. What was different this time was that the troupe never arrived. After a week of waiting for their arrival Leolin travelled to the port that the circus was meant to arrive at. With only a brief investigation the haunting news came through to him that the ship had been attacked by pirates and sunk. The one survivor who had made it to the port had died of exposure the day before Leolin's arrival. He was overcome with grief and found some respite at the bottom on a bottle.
A fortnight went by before Leo refocussed himself, putting an end to what was essentially two weeks of non-stop drinking. He set out to search for anyone who may have survived, after all the circus had been a family to him. They gave him a purpose and deep down he felt like he owed them. He started to travel from town to town searching for anyone he may know something, but to no avail. During his search he did what he could to survive whether that was performing with Draig or more often than not, hunting monsters. His search continues on.

Being honest and up front, the intention would be for armour at most times, being a part time monster hunter and all that. Obviously any events where he’s caught with his pants down then he can kiss the bonus bye bye
@Weird Tales im with @King Cosmos in terms of numbers. I don’t think we should have more than 6 at the very most. I just think a lot of the issues we have had have been because there are so many people. So say there is five of us left, I think we stick with that.
However I’d rather not reset given the work we’ve put in up to this point. Obviously if the majority say that’s what they want then cool.
The point is I’m here for the long haul as long as everyone else is.
@PrinceAlexus I don’t mean to stifle your creativeness or willingness to interact but it’s just being slice of life, that’s what would happen from my experience of dealing with drunks who kick off
As GM feel free to do as you wish though. Maybe have them apologise
