((Sorry I kinda scrambled it together to get the kickoff. I hope it will suffice!))

The sun hid behind the clouds on the dead old world as the light came through the cracks and traveled across the ruins in blinding speeds, revealing the nightmare of the post apocalyptic setting. With it came a new life, one that will be harsh but possible to survive in despite the odds against humanity. In the end, though, one's morals and values are put to the test, how far will someone go to stay alive or keep those around him/her alive?

((For those who wanted the GM to put them in a spot~))
Underground where the metro tunnels ran in their tightly knit system, the humans and anthros went through their daily tasks: fending off mutants, fending off each other, getting food and necessities, and even getting a daily kill to steal from the unfortunate. Of those stations was the center of it all, the metro station. The numbers were plenty and the diversity flourished for the neutral, independent station with only 57 of them being guards and some of the residents associating with rival factions, but they managed to band together in order to stay safe and alive. All was normal from the brief mutant raids to the shooting outside the gate until one day news had been drifting around about a group of refugees fleeing from the red line coming their way. It was rather usual to hear such things, yet this was different, and it became clear when distant gunfire echoed down the tunnel. There was a good chance those refugees were being massacred by something.

Nearby a bar where tables and small rooms for rent were set up, two of the station's armed protectors came in and went straight to the counter, one of them waving to the bartender as they spoke of the daily rumors. "So from what I heard, some guy arrived claiming to be a survivor of the shit going down in the tunnel. He says they're rounding up people and executing them or something like that.. Poor bastards."

"Shouldn't we send some men out there to hit them? If they're killing off people coming our way, what's stopping them from just attacking our station?" The other gunman asked, propping his shotgun against the counter. At that moment the bartender arrived with the bottles and he too jumped into the conversation.

"I for one heard of a ranger supposedly going to get them, but it's obvious those raiders or kill squads or whatever are still alive and well. We are for sure in trouble with this stuff now coming home."

"Well we only got soo many guys who are willing to do that and we need them here if we are attacked, no? Besides, those guys will probably find that its not worth the effort to run through two more stations to get to us when we're armed and ready. We should be fine." The first guard replied to the other two, already taking up the bottle and unscrewing the cork before pouring it's contents into two nearby cups: a clear liquid with the stench of alcohol. "It's the post captain's call, and I sure am not going to throw my life away when it is needed here." After that the three continued in their own, off topic chatting, despite how loud they spoke earlier. Regardless of what was going on, there were still jobs available on a board nearby, unless someone were to try and take up the rumor.

The amount of work I put into characters for RPs that don't last long... but who the fuck am I to say that? Pretty much every single RP I've GMed has been aborted prematurely, and even my characters don't last long before I quit an RP either. Then again, I've been able to get into my character's heads better in the past year. I think I'll be around for the duration of this RP.

I meant the RP shouldn't be long when the person gets in as in the plot would not have become cement and there would be a spot to hop in at Wayne..

The RP should start sometime this week. I still have stuff like school and work to dig through. Can I get a headcount while we are almost kicking in? For those who are participating shoot a message within the next day or so so I can see who is still watching the OOC
And here's my CS!

Name: Wilson Fillmoore
Age: 28
Faction Alignment: Ranger
History: Wilson was a young teen of a single mother ((His father leaving upon the realization that Wilson had the genes of his anthromorphic mom instead of his dad)) when the bombs dropped and destroyed the old world. Like many others he with his only mother stayed in the metro and survived throughout the aftermath like any other typical station inhabitant. That was all before the social conflicts and the wars started exploding and factions were formed. He lost his mother to a raid on his station two years into the apocalypse and that left him alone where he fled with a group of survivors. There, a man took him under his wing and introduced him to caravan guard. It was then, over time, the child became a man, and soon the opportunity came for him to be something more.

When the surface started becoming more safe the anthromorph found himself venturing out in order to salvage and find things to better his life. At the time he was only armed with a .44 revolver, but when he came across a group of bandits overwhelming a group of traders like the ones he had spent most of his life standing guard for he stepped in and started to conduct an ambush that turned the shootout to the favor of himself and those he had stood up for. That moment a strange individual had joined him, one wearing armor and weilding an assault rifle. They fought till the end, and when the smoke settled those who survived went their way, leaving the fox and the stranger be. That was when the stranger gave him an offer: to leave the caravan life to step into the ranger life. The details of the fight were unknown, and the only one who knows the truth is Wilson himself.

Skills and Talents: Firearms training and maintinence ((Moderate)), uncanny reaction time (Pretty much speed and agility), Sanity discipline You will see hear things, see things, and feel things, but remember who you are in the end. ((Slight resistance against unnatural influences if such an thing were to happen))

Equipment And Weapons: .44 Revolver ((Fully loaded, 20 spare rounds)) Old Combat Knife, First Aid Kit, Lighter, Flashlight. Ak47 modeled rifle, nicknamed 'the Kalash' in the apocalypse. ((5.56 rifle, magazines are usually created by weapon manufacturers and traders.)) Gasmask, Kevlar vest ((For low caliber weapons)) ((Full mag, two empty mags, and three 5.56 bullets rolling around in his jacket pockets, Utility belt holding most of his items, satchel ((For whatever he finds))
Appearance: Image for Reference As a mix of two anthromorphic breeds ((Like his mother)) The anthro had the body of a wolf, but the tail and ears of a fox. That also left a mixture of colors instead of one dominate color ((Like the image, showing a black upper and a gray lower muzzle)) HE wears a heavy jacket a long with a vest that is bullet resistant. On his neck are a pair of dogtags with a unique symbol, one that identifies him with the faction he is aligned with. The Symol on the dog tags ((Dont mind ze SoD on the bottom.. This is a game icon ;_;))
Location: With the flames
Other things! Yay!: As one of the rangers he is quick to be exposed when he is in a station. For some reason word gets around quick and then trouble comes to slap him in the face... Atleast trouble can be better than bullets, right?

Oh and someone Pm me saying I need to add in some disadvantages/weaknesses to the char so I can read it tomorrow and remember XD
Take your time. Even if we do start the rp shouldn't go far.
All characters are accepted!
To those who choos 'with the flames': If you prefer a specific aspect or situation let me know! Right now I'm thinking of starting those who have joined off in a small station.
Yeah, you know I'm around!
I'm still around and on standby boss
