In Is RPGuild dying? 10 yrs ago Forum: News
I've had some time to think about it. And some people to talk about it.. Looking back at these posts all I see is a flame that has burnt the forest apart. In all honesty the community relies on the people. The last thing we need to be doing is standing on our opinions and calling all the others inferior, that only makes the flames rise. I don't agree with what this topic has created. But the message the topic brought out I do agree with in my own fashion. The people starting this thread who you all are calling trolls and such are people who have been here for over a year and all. They see an issue and they wanted to throw it out there, how the ground was held, though, was awful. We argue like Democrats and Republicans. THIS ISN'T THE TIME FOR THAT. WE are the people of the community therefor we either make it or break it. As John F Kennedy once said Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country . Don't ask what the admins should be doing for us, dont ask about the updates, ask what WE AS THE PEOPLE can do for this community in order to keep it going.

THIS IS A TIME TO DETECT PROBLEMS NOT MAKE THEM.
Its always up to the GM to keep the RP going if people are still around. If he drops it then that's his decision. Especially on weeks where people have families and holidays to attend to I understand pauses in RPs. If Rps died due to week long pauses then that's due to a sense of impatience. (Only opinion tho) If you wanted rapid posting then free RP might be best be chur RPs
We might wanna consider doing a roll call since no IC activity has come up for a week. Should I go ahead and start up a second post?
Kensington found himself working like a proper airman from the time he landed to the moment he found himself helping Aidan. He couldn't process much the time, finding himself following every bit of instruction like training had wired him to do so. Everything, the explosions, the foot steps, even the medics conversing with each other was simply not reaching him. He was tied to the man who had died, and to what the medic said as a consolation. It worked, it was the only thing that got him to leave the safety of his helicopter seat, after all, but over time every man had to regain their senses, every man had to come back to this world.

By the time he was, himself he started off with a startle, his eyes darting around to see Aidan talking to him before jogging off, leaving the pilot to stand by the helicopter that had it's rotors still spinning. Orders? The wolf thought, taking a moment to shift through what bits and pieces of memory he had. Then it hit him, he was suppose to be in the air again to stop any bad guys from running away. With that in mind the airman glanced over at his comrade running to the fireteam before shifting the rifle on his chest and turning around to climb into the skyhawk.

Just after a few steps Ken was back in his seat. He slouched there to get a feel of his vehicle once again before reaching out to hold the controls, a shuddering breath escaping him yet again. "Alright... Here we go." The pilot muttered under his breath, taking off and climbing into the skies to get a better view of the AO. Everything was restricted to a mining facility, he wasn't really expecting anyone to get out without answering to one of the other Roughriders. What was he to do if he saw them? He had to think over his ROE. Would it be warning shot before engagement or will he make those bastards pay for standing up against the LDF? If he chose option two, what if he engaged someone he would regret killing, like a fleeing hostage? He decided to turn to his CO for that one.

"B-Blade," The pilot said, catching himself when he realized he was stammering. Unbeknownst to him, he was hot-micing his little moment and when he realized his breathing was going over the comms he cursed out loud and continued his message. "Am I to start off with warning shot or engage at will?"
Bump. Like I suspected this RP might now be able to take off. Probably the holiday MIA, eh?
A chuckle and a nod came from Wilson, the pain being rather evident in the tone of his strained voice while be spoke. "It comes with the job description of a ranger. Don't worry about me... This isn't the first injury I've ever sustained." He said, glancing between the array of eyes before turning away from the tiger and glancing down the desolate street full of broken down cars and debris. "I'll meet you with the rangers shortly after you arrive if everything goes according to plan. I don't mean to say wait for me or anything. If you all have an issue during your travels there should be an otter fellow willing to help out. Last I recall he was patrolling the Smithsonian American Art Museum." While he was speaking the ranger started down direction he faced, a hanging sign showing the street they walked onj to be G STR NW. He only paused to glance over his shoulder, his right hand going up to give the group a wave.

"See you all at Trinity Church. You can take the street I am on or find a safer route there. I hope we get to meet again on better conditions."
I'll post up in a minute

So, I posted. Cart, if there's anything you don't like about our work with Kuraiko, you note me and I'll modify the post. Heck, if you don't want Ken to be there, I'll just replace him with the medical team and it's all cool. Es, you've got yourself a temporary corpsman in your team!

I'm alright with how you used the character ^.^ No need to go on the editing goose chase, eh? I'll wait a sec before I post.. Feeling real hesitant since the post gap is 2 posts
thanksgiving bump
