I'm happy to play either male or female not fussed, I felt the basis of the story was 3 cellmates escape together, return to the city to find it almost deserted of criminals, speach or all 3 together trying to take a slice of the action. To me that suggests male characters, perhaps each with different skills but doing 3 girls trying to take over a city could be interesting. Each of their skills introduced by their roles in the escape?

Pretty much whatever happens i'll be in, I loved this as a concept and the character I created is one I really want to play with but there is no point soldiering ahead with an rp if you don't have enough people for it and that's ok.

If it was me and you only need two more people I'd resurrect the interest check as you won't interest new people especially as to the outsider it appears the rp has already started.

Either way don't get downhearted, you have a fantastic concept

The concept centres around the ministry of magic after it fallen to he who shall not be named beginning with its actual fall. The fall of the ministry has enough room for imagination and development playing as two unnamed wizards/witches and there attempt to hurt you know who's grasp on the ministry from within

i have edited the artifacts as your right I didn't understand enchanting but i think i understand it better now. It isn't a major change but it should fit better with your ideas

Sorry for the time it took and how it’s expanded, let me know if there is anything you want me to change or doesn’t fit your vision. Unfortunately it spiralled out of control somewhat.

Huge and muscular Guntha is big even amongst trolls with huge muscular arms and a chest of thick black muscle. His jet black skin melts into the shadows, the darkness only pierced by two bright red eyes( he often closes one in a fairly good impersonation of a switched off electrical device) as he lurks waiting for his pray.

He wears only a loin cloth held together by a broach of bone along with thick leather gauntlets bound his wrists and ankles made for him by goblins of the Unseelie court. They claimed upon the thick black leather the spikes and seals are made of iron and for this reason Guntha never takes them off as he fears to touch the links.

Background

In Ghal Khalufin's unbiased tome "Trolls are Twats" he summarises trolls into 4 f's:
Food, Fighting, Family and... well trolls have forgotten the rest.

In truth it is family that epitomises the species for if any amongst the fae folk are bred for survival it is the troll. Across the world trolls have established sacred hollows in which breeding pairs will imitate their fore fathers and come to mate and raise their young amongst the safety of their kin. For British trolls most are born upon the glorious fells of the Scottish highlands deep amidst the ancient woods of Rochiemurchus. The fight (technical term) of baby trolls grow up in paradise way away from biggun eyes; spending their days tumbling through the undergrowth whilst endeavouring to cause each other as much damage as possible whilst the adults hunt and feed upon the dryads that live in the ancient trees.

Guntha's father was a strong male with little between the ears, his mother a gargantuan female with bow legs and no concept of contraception. A match made in troll heaven, the Gods blessing them with a healthy strong baby boy. Childhood and adolescence passed in tranquillity as Guntha was taught to hunt and kill by his parents, the essence of trollhood passed down from generation to generation in these short months.

The final ceremony from boy to man, his trial to catch his transport, in Britain a wood pigeon from the forest canopies even though most trolls never learn to fly it. Nevertheless

Guntha was no ordinary troll, a powerful beast in a society that honoured strength; he caught, broke in and trained his pigeon returning to the colony astride a magnificent white speckled bird.

Yet why leave such a paradise?

Sadly, trolls are not colonial creatures and as the stupefying instinct of paternity wears off and the food begins to grow scarce, fights begin to break out.

Most trolls storm out, some are carried out yet inevitably the hollow left deserted with only small blood stains and shattered teeth upon the sacred ground.

So, Guntha left his childhood home to search the world yet for a child that had been nurtured and adored the real world was a shocking and hurtful place. Other fae screamed and fled at the sight of him, their fear more painful than any knife.

Many trolls accept they are doomed to been shunned on becoming predators of the fae colonies and meeting any incursion with fatal brutality. Guntha however possessed a self awareness and intelligence that led him to crave the attention and acceptance of other.

As such, he was lead into work with the most talented of his kind, the work of a bounty hunter.

He was talented, showing a level of cunning that preyed on the assumption that he had none with his calling card being the 10 kills made in broad daylight.

He made his trade in London where the Unseelie and Seelie alike provided him with a number of contracts, be it hunting down criminals or removing key members of the opposition. His success and a sudden desperation on the part of the Seelie leading to a contract no sane troll would take.

With Unseelie forces and incursions growing, yet the heart of London still primarily under Seelie control, a new landmark sparked a sudden escalation on both sides.

The Millennium Dome - a massive structure in the heart of London up for sale

Offered to businesses country wide Seelie and Unseelie dreamwalkers went into overdrive desperately trying to influence their chosen business to make an offer. The Unseelie were winning due to a particularly effective Boggart that had influenced the dreams of 5 major bankers in a single session, providing them with the nightmare of economic collapse if the Dome did not become part of the financial district.

With the prospect of a new centre of the financial district and so the Unseelie expanding into North Greenwich, the Seelie had to act.

They turned to Guntha, playing not only on his natural greed but his desire for acceptance, offering him what he longed for, a seat at the table as the King’s personal bodyguard.

With dreamwalkers weary and focused upon their tasked they were easy meet for Guntha who devoured upon the entire cadre before slaughtering the boggart (whose dream walking talent made him the troll equivalent of a knickerbocker glory). Though Guntha always regrets that he didn’t wash him first he always admits to a certain level of guilt over the kill especially as his victim inadvertently saved his life in the aftermath.

Unseelie hopes were dashed and the Millennium Dome became the o2, a centre for arts and culture: the equivalent of a feasting palace firmly in the hands of the Seelie.

Devastated and enraged, the Unseelie sought revenge yet with the Seelie’s new found strength leaving them mostly impedent they lashed out at Guntha, calling for his head.

Suddenly Guntha found himself attacked by members of his own kinds, a hit sent out to the furthest corners of the globe with a prize so lavish it attracted the best and brightest of his brethren. He turned to the Seelie for help only to find the door slammed firmly in his faith. Betrayed, he fled the city, stashing himself upon a cargo ship from Portsmouth.

Over hill and high water he fled, the boggart he had eaten providing him with enough charm to keep moving, his captors need to feed allowing him to keep a step ahead of the game. Months of near misses, travelling and small skirmishes lead him to New York, a city he could get lost in yet he was chased by no ordinary trolls, relentless in their pursuit and deadly in their skills, they waited him out until he had to feed to survive. Even as he made his first kill they came upon him giving him no time to regain his strength they hounded him, like a sheep before dogs til they stood atop the Brooklyn Bridge even as the bells tolled for midnight.

Amongst trolls “Brothers: why do you hunt me?” is considered akin to “I have a dream” and though the words of the speech were never recorded on paper nor do any of the watchers remember what was said but by all accounts it was fucking awesome.

It was a moment when the best and brightest of the trolls looked down at themselves and saw more than just their feet. They embraced the hurt and pain of constant rejection and manipulation for just doing what came naturally.

Each of them had at one time been denied payment for their services, or faced retribution ahead of their masters to please the will of the raging masses. That moment was the start of something small, something that may never come to pass or ever be formally recognised. It was there that 5 of the brightest of troll kind agreed to take a stand against injustice.

Atop the Brooklyn bridge they shook hands and suppressed the urge to push the other off the edge (because it would be funny) and only one troll got punched in the face.

They originally called themselves STD (a name Guntha had seen in a health clinic when hunting down a rogue pixie and thought it sounded catchy) the Society of Troll Diplomats. This was quickly changed upon the advice of a chewy fairy, that in retrospect was a bit too salty, that could not hide a snigger even with 5 angry trolls surrounding him.

Through several renditions from PMT to HRT however it was finally reborn as TLC, The Troll Liberation Committee which, though only small with 8 sworn in members, features 5 of the 10 premier troll bounty hunters.

Guntha being the founder is known as “Da Foreman” and responsible for pushing through the oaths which in a musketeer style sign of solidarity each swears:
• that no hit shall be taken on another troll; provided the troll is not a law breaker or a dick
• that a troll will always be paid in full for the service provided within a single moon cycle or the contractor will lose everything including his life (8 trolls on your doorstep tends to encourage even the hardiest lords to pay up in full)
• that a brother shall always help another brother in time of need (see above)
• that every contract shall include a clause to help the brotherhood, be it through an audience with a high ranking lord, a temporary home opened to troll brethren or even the arrangement of a TLC awareness day

Still a deadly bounty hunter fuelled by rejection and betrayal, this project however stupid fuels Guntha’s youthful passions.

Now war is coming to New York and Guntha possesses just enough cunning to see an opportunity to change the way his kind are viewed beyond the cracks in the walls.

Talent: Orator
Though a talented pixie will speak far more colourfully and eloquently than Guntha could even dream; Guntha has a manner of belligerent charm. He, unlike most his kind, has the intelligence to debate a point which, coupled with his ability to tear wings and even limbs from fairie bodies, can make a fairly persuasive argument.
His forte is war speeches with an incredible ability to rouse emotions in others, be it through fear or through his booming voice.

Knack: Be it dumb luck or just a natural aptitude for violence, Guntha has a knack for being in the right place at the right time.

Flaw: Fear of technology.
Guntha is, at base, a simple soul and understands what he can see, hear or feel. With technology such as an iPad so much of what goes on goes on where he cannot see it and does as he does not understand. He is wary of it, especially considering the human’s knack for putting cameras in anything. Many diplomatic moments have been blown as a more friendly elf moved to an iPad to show him a funny video, only to find himself slammed against the wall with an angry troll in his face.

Major Skills: Brutality, Stealth, Menaces

Glamers: Regeneration 2 Linking 2.

Charms: As with all trolls he gains his charm from the lifeblood of other fae. The fresher the body the greater the charm and as such Guntha usually feasts immediately upon the flesh after the kill to gain the maximum charm and occassionally he is caught in a blood lust where he will devour the entire corpse. Otherwise he will save 6 small vials of the victims blood as a top up to help sustain him between kills.

Artifacts: As with many troll’s Guntha has a number of troll hoards containing the loots he has taken as a sell sword or the rewards of his missions. These artifacts he rarely understands and generally he sells them on for a handsome profit when needs be. He never carries any of it with him and he’ll be damned if he’ll tell you where it is.

His hands and teeth are the only weapon he needs to kill, however messy it may be, yet he carries a single needle of steel pulled by a skilled dreamworker to meld exactly with his ebony skin. He wears it strapped against his thigh, where it melds with his flesh to be almost invisible. This is his failsafe, troll gods be praised he will never have to use it.

Mount/Conveyance: Wood pigeon
Like trolls, pigeons are disliked inelegant but effective. Scrappy scroungers sit well with Guntha and he has tamed and linked with many pigeons over the years creating a new bond as he visits every city as through his linking he gains not only transportation but also local knowledge which helps him to head off running prey and take routes that Bigguns never use.

Currently he is linked with a local pigeon from New York which he calls Bucky due to near fatal problems during taming.

Allies: The 8 members of TLC are all closely allied however; each is in a different city across the world. Having worked for both sides, Guntha has contacts if not allies in both courts.

Hi just to let you know I won't be submitting a character as when I read over Jays character to see if they would mesh I found they we're incredibly similar

As such in the interest of diversity and the fact that chezkas character would be a far better foil for him than mine I will be an avid spectator instead

Just starting my character and want her to be from kanto, what version of kantos layout are you using, generation 1 or generation 4?
