Current I walk in a blizzard of words, eyes blinded by the choices, as stories dance in the distance. Just out of reach...

Bio

I have been away for over 2 years, so I have glanced over this to attempt and update as of 2019.

I have been a role player for nearly 8 years now, preferring to do 1x1's. My genre's are normally fantasy/scifi in both medieval, modern and futuristic. Steam Punk is a world theme I have some experience in and have thoroughly enjoyed, however my knowledge for such a genre is limited at present.
When it comes to the rating I much prefer 18+ as the contents of many of my role plays involve violence, language and the occasional gore and even sexual content. I am quite happy to mix things up depending on your tastes and so long as it continues to work with the story I will be happy to try and incorporate anything you may wish into a plot.

About Me
Well the most commonly asked questions are quite simple for me. I am a 29 year old Male living in England, so for those living in the US you will find my reply times sporadic and perhaps even during times most sane people would be asleep. This can even happen if you are in Europe as I have a very deep passion for writing. When a role play just hooks me right I am quite capable of replying within the hour to any posts you make. I do some times need a breather and time to think over a response, so some posts may take a day or so.

I Make and prefer at least 2-3 paragraphs to build on stories. If you are at all interested in a role play just send me a PM and I will see if we can come up with a plot to work on.

I haven't played in a while, but Invoker is my favourite.
I may be a stranger, but I am still glad you seem to be in the clear MDK. And remember, you can now be an extra in movies where you leg gets blown off!! (They do hire people for that, honest!)
I wish we could all just get along and-

ATTACK!!

Best of luck, MDK.Hey, maybe if I get that job as a bio-medical engineer in the future, I could make you Robocop.

Forget that, he's on his way to becoming VADER!

I would like to see a game where you do not only build your kingdom like you would in any strategy game, but also fight among your men like games such as Mount and Blade.

From the get go it would be open world sand box, with you able to build a keep anywhere you wish and thus making a zone of influence you can build within. From here you can expand your influence to expand your building, or even delve deep into mountains with tunnels or temples. The citadels you build could vary depending on your play style. If you wish to be the evil Lord of dark magic with grand orc armies, then you can. If you wish to the an eldritch mage with holy knights, you can. If you just was the be a warrior king with a host of men, its all open to you! (Even be a dark lord with zombie hordes!!).

You would obviously start off as whatever race you chose, but not undead (this you DO need to earn), and your keep will be very basic (like a mead hall). Once built, you would need to quest, to build reputation and to collect items much like you would in mount and blade and Skyrim. Now this is where your path truly takes form. Depending on your actions will be how the world reacts to you. Pillage villages and you will only attract cutthroats. Draw in enough of them and you can begin pressing villagers into service for your glory. Battle Orc tribes to win their favour but becoming their Chieftan (or even learn dark magics to force them all into service. The choice really is yours!).

Now for the best bit, as your citadel grows, and depending on what buildings you unlock as your path unfolds (buildings will change looks depending on your allignment and who you have living in your realm) you can roam the streets or go to your keep and take side missions set to you by your nobles and peasants. Other Kings may even sent emmisaries to you, or letters of war!

Now the best bit, if you are magical (which no doubt you would become!) your dark magics can end up warping the realms you control. That lovely woodland you have? It is now a dark place where monsters stalk the lands and the towns feel too afraid to go outside! Slaughter towns and raise their graves as your own undead legions! And when battle begins you will be beside your warriors! Either at the front with your blade, or in the distance with arrows or spells.

I have dreamed of a game like this for a long time, but nothing ever meets my ideas...
I will be dressing as myself. I'm told I have an intimidating stare so I will just make sure I stand in dark places and glare at people.

Evil Glare > costumes.
It was be a more understanding title, but we intellectual folk have cut through that veil and discovered the core of this argument for a good debate (though I know that was not the function of the topic at first if I remember rightly). I truly feel that this argument is entirely dependent on the timeline and theme of the story.
I quite like characters with conflicting mental states (to a degree that is) and enjoy the design of a man with many rules imposed on himself for fear of what he may do/have done happening again. I've always used ideas such as feminism to build on a character design I had in mind. For example I once made a nobleman for a story who saw women as his play things and gave them no rating other than bed servants. His views were not shared and it caused serious damage to his reputation when he was exposed, thus fueling his belief they were evil creatures with only one good purpose.

I have no personal joy playing out such characters, as I am very much opposed to them even existing! But for stories these villains can be vital, as he was, for the plot. Such views and beliefs can be easily implemented into a Roleplay, though it is best to make it subtle and believable. I rather doubt for instance that you would enter a town and see just women as guards and the likes. I personally see it far more believable if the men still make up the town watch but the women guard the palace and/or form the ruling classes
