Occupation
He's a senior student at Red Lake High School. Being an avid fan of machinery, cars, and bikes however, Rudy has made his hobby of repairing such vehicles into a cheap-paying job. He works out of his garage on whatever projects anyone brings him for a slight price ranging from $30 up. This little endeavor of his is known around town as 'Rudy's Garage'. Accurate, no?
In-Depth Appearance
Rudy calls himself a 'pretty boy'. Why? Well, he was lucky to grab both ends of the gene pool by the balls and make them work for him. His father's sharp jaw and sturdy brow is off set only by his mother's expressive eyes and dainty lips. A mixture of pretty features makes up Rudy's face into a smoldering of flirtation, a kid who knows how to get what he wants. Soft, dark hair frames his face, matching the beard he usually lets grow out, and fierce eyes glare out from behind thick lashes. Rudy is attractive and he knows it, perhaps too well though, as he spends quite a long time staring at himself in the mirror if one is available.
Lean muscles stay hidden beneath a rather broad body. Rudy works out, be it at the gym late at night or in his own backyard after a long day of pretending to car about school and working on his cars. Despite his rough and tough appearance, Rudy is actually partial to a much more elegant style of staying fit: yoga. Most of those arm muscles come from handstands and upward facing dog stances! Rudy rarely works out around other people due to this, he has to keep up his cool guy appearance after all!
Besides his face, Rudy is rather short for a regular English man, standing at a mere 5'6". He tries to make a few inches with hidden platforms shoes and boots. Thank God he dresses like a tool, too, 'cause if not for all the leather jackets and tight jeans he might look like a fool with such clunky footwear.

Motor oil, smoke, burning rubber, Granny Smith apples, and honey.
Personality
♦ Warm ♦ Confrontational ♦ Affectionate ♦ Irritable ♦
Nothing matters more to Rudy than honesty. There is something about humanity that makes him cynical, something that makes the words he hears so vague and untruthful. Without honesty what were they? Nothing but lying rats, looking for their next victim, searching for their next big lie, ready to pull the wool of Rudy's much too blunt eyes. Rudy's own life mantra is to be as honest as possible no matter the circumstance. He rarely tries to filter his words, and if he ever does it is just to lay down the truth a bit lighter than he could have. His honesty comes forward as ruthlessness at times, but some may find it reassuring that Rudy will tell it to them straight no matter what.
Rudy is known around town for his aggressive attitude and venomous tongue. He has a no-nonsense outlook on life and takes what people say to his with a grain of salt out of instinct. He doesn't mean to be awful, it's just what happens when you grow up in a poor neighborhood with a poor family that holds poor standards towards life and living. His irritable side is his most viewed one; he rarely smiles or shows kindness in public unless with friends, and even then he can be a bit blunt and mean-spirited.
The warmth and kindness hidden within Rudy can be pulled forward with honesty and friendliness. He appreciates pretty people off the bat, though if they're personalities are too fake for him Rudy will gladly throw them away, but if a regular old someone were to approach him out of the blue with a sweet smile and true words he will eventually grow to admire them. Rudy is naturally flirty, especially to his friends, and sees no issue in throwing his arm around a fella or lady if he knows them well enough. Rudy can act rather maternal around closer friends, and has a strange urge to protect those he deems weaker than himself. This warmth may be overbearing at times, but in the end Rudy really does only try his best for others, even if he doesn't physically show it.
Other than that, Rudy is a noisy racer. His old junk bucket car roars like a motherfucker late at night sometimes, loud enough to wake entire neighborhoods, and those close by will probably know he's about to start another street race. Traffic laws rarely phase him, much to the dismay of the police. Rudy is a shameless narcissist, has a habit for flirting (especially when drunk), and just can't seem to control his voice when set off.

History
Rudy was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois in a crappy apartment with his father. He would have been born and raised with his mother as well, but she died from eclampsia only a few minutes after giving birth to him. That's fine though, because home life was great anyway. Rudy's father was still fit and able and they often drove across the city for hours at a time, talking and stopping at parks to play ball or admire cars. Though their neighborhood was poor and rather dangerous (they had been robbed three times before The Big Move), Rudy love it just the same, and even now looks back on it fondly.
The Big Move happened a few days after Rudy's twelfth birthday. It was a long drive, the longest they had ever been on together. Nine whole hours of old rock and a busted air conditioner and endless green trees and hills. When they finally arrived n the sleepy old town of Red Lake, PA, his father introduced it as "his home town", and then went on to explain why he had to come back. G'Maw and Pawpaw had passed away just over a year ago, and Rudy's aunt had insisted his father should move in and keep the place ship-shape because she "couldn't stand this backwards small town fuckery anymore".
So, they moved in. The house was bigger than their first apartment, and instantly Rudy became attracted to the garage, the outdoors, and every odd-looking person down on Main street. He grew up from a spit-fire pre-teen into a rough-and-tough-car-loving-douchebag, and despite his city upbringing he has managed to fit himself into the small nook of Red Lake as easily as a native could.

Family
Daniel R. Huntington: Rudy's bum father. Being just over 45 and already plagued with bouts of arthritis, tendinitis, and a variety of other problems, Daniel rarely goes out to converse with the rest of Red Water. He normally spends his time at home, drunk and bored in his workspace. His occupation as a translator rarely has him leave his office, so Rudy doesn't spend as much time with his as he used to. Still, the teen loves his father to death, even if he doesn't show it.

Rudy is normally seen in his 1969 Dodge Charger. It breaks down every other week and makes an awful roaring sound when revved, but it's fast and his, so he loves it without jest.
