AppearanceDonovan stands at 5 foot 10 and has a fit physique that does not accurately portray his true strength. He has brown hair that he leaves largely unstyled and gets cut only every so often, along with a beard that he trims fairly regularly. He's not very fashion-conscious, and doesn't care for trends.
CostumeDon doesn't wear a costume per say. He almost always wears or carries a hoodie on him so as to conceal his identity to a degree.
PersonalityDon tries his best to avoid trouble, keep his head down, and live a normal life. Of course, this never goes his way and he always ends up fighting some crook or saving someone from a burning building, but he never ends up taking credit or fame for these acts, he just moves on as if nothing happened. He dislikes the idea of being a 'superhero' and while he has an innate sense to do good and help people, would not put on spandex or give himself some sort of gimmick.
Don has a calm, reserved personality. He cracks a joke once every blue moon, but for the most part thinks everything that he says through before saying it. He also holds a firm belief in second chances, as he should considering his past.
Don has recently become prone to sudden bouts of PTSD. So far they have not hugely affected him, leaving him in a slightly catatonic state for a few moments, but he can feel the effects worsening as time goes on.
BackstoryDonovan is the product of a slave cartel's experiments into superhumans. He was kidnapped from a Welsh family on holiday as a baby and grew up in captivity, being tortured and forced to fight other kidnapped children in between receiving various injections and training. His powers manifested at the age of 12, when he accidentally killed another child during a fight with a single punch. After this he was moved up to a different section of the cartel, specializing in training for his powers.
He was subjected to various forms of punishment in order to test his durability, and was forced to test the limits of his strength on a daily basis. He was also trained in both close quarters and long range combat while in this section. When he was 16 he was ready for the field.
He was deployed within a squadron bought by a mercenary company operating mainly within South America. He did a lot of evil deeds during his time in the company, but that all came to a halt after being faced with the carnage of a drone strike he had been ordered to use. He'd killed an entire village of people, children included. He turned on his squadron, overpowering them and shrugging off their firearms and powers before killing them and going AWOL.
He headed north, paying coyote's with what little money he had to clothe him and get him over the border. After much travelling through train-hopping and hitchhiking he landed in Suhona. He worked odd jobs here and there for a while before meeting an old man by the name of Vic. Vic ran a failing bar and, after being in a similar form of vagrancy in the past, had a soft spot for Don and gave him a job in his bar. After much work between the two the bar is much more successful than it was before Don arrived, and after Vic's death the bar was handed over to Don.
From then on he's ran the bar, encountering trouble every so often and having to save a few kittens from trees here and there.
SuperpowersDonovan is the strongest man on earth. He is capable of lifting cars, punching through buildings, and stopping trains with ease. Although, he hasn't actually realized the true extent of his powers, and the most he's done is lift a car one-handed at this point. This strength extends to his whole body also, for example were he to put strength into a jump he'd be able to clear a building with ease.
Furthermore, Donovan is extremely durable, capable of shrugging off bullets with ease. His final, strangest power is his innate sense of danger. Not in the spiderman sense where he can dodge fists with ease, but in the sense that if a criminal is nearby or someone is in trouble he'll get a sort of tingling at the back of his head informing him of such.
TalentsEx-Special Forces:
Donovan is highly trained in firearms and close combat by a secret military branch. While he has a disdain for guns, he is also extremely talented with them, and his close combat combined with his strength make for a foe to be trifled with.
Barman:
Donovan has worked in a pub since he got back to America. He now owns and occasionally works the bar in how own pub. He has mastered the art of pouring a pint with just enough head and can mix just about any cocktail from memory.
BBQ Chef:
Donovan is no gourmet chef by any means, but get him on a BBQ and he might as well be Gordon Ramsey. His 'signature' dish are burgers, which he takes great care in making.
