Name: Teig Kelley
Aliases: Some people call him 'T' for convenience. You'll get a dirty look if the 'Mr. T' jokes start coming out though. He's not really one for nicknames.

When lounging around or working out he'll often wear a tracksuit or a pair of workout shorts with under armour or an old t-shirt to match. Otherwise he can often be seen wearing a check shirt with a t-shirt underneath and some jeans.
Caring * Self-sacrificing * Brave * Reckless * Determined * Defensive
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single
Personality:Teig is a friendly, easy to talk to guy on the surface. He will talk to anyone about anything, even if he doesn't understand it in the slightest, he will make an effort to be interested if the person shows even an ounce of passion about what they are talking about. He tries his best to avoid conflict among friends, and isn't above pulling out one of his famous awful dad jokes to make a pair of arguing friends shut up for a moment just to groan at how bad the joke was. He values loyalty above everything else, especially when working in a team.
However, when on a mission while displaying some of the traits he would do normally, he is much more focused and prioritizes the lives of others over the mission objective, perhaps to a fault. He'd much rather risk his life trying to save someone else than live with the guilt of never having tried.
Habits: He has a bad habit of cracking his knuckles which his mother often scolds her for as "It'll give you arthritis!".
He will often rub the bridge of his nose when in deep thought or stressed.
He often times buys a book with the intention of reading it, reads the first page and then never picks it up again.

Why did you want to become an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.?: Teig's main push came from his commanding officer putting him forward for the position when a recruiter from SHIELD came to his branch of the SAS. While initially he was happy to stay with the SAS, his commanding officer assured him that his talents would better be spent with SHIELD and that, among other things, the pay was better. Personally, Teig also liked the idea of travelling the world and was informed that SHIELD was a better fit for doing so than the SAS.
General History: Teig was born in Dundee, his father, a builder was the main source of income for his family. Teig's early life was pretty much the norm for the area he grew up in. It was in the bad part of town and he'd often get in fights with other kids or even a few adults here or there when he was causing mischief with his friends. As a result, he took an early interest in actually learning how to fight, and joined a boxing gym as a young boy. It was there he met the man who would prove to be his father figure for the best part of his early life - Coach Fergusson. Teig's father never took much of an interest in him for the most part, but when Teig began regaling the family with stories about Coach Fergusson and how much he was learning then his father took more of an interest.
He tried to go and beat up the much older coach in front of Teig, to no avail. He got his ass handed to him by a man 20 years his elder. This only worsened things, and with the advent of his father's building firm closing - Teig's life was about to get a lot worse. His father became a violent drunk, before slowly turning to drugs and dying by the time Teig was about 12. He'd be lying if he said he missed the bastard.
The coach took a much bigger interest in Teig's life after this, making sure he was well looked after and that he was doing well in school. He succeeded in one of those objectives. He was well looked after for sure, but no amount of encouragement would have made Teig try in school. Sure, he was a whiz kid on the football team and always did well in PE, but in most other subjects he just plain didn't try. Stumped, the coach decided to further Teig's combat sports training instead. Pulling in a few contacts from his career as an amateur fighter, he was able to get Teig trained in Muay Thai, BJJ, and a few other styles before sending him off to compete in a few martial arts tournaments for people around his age.
Alas, his MMA career never fully took off as much as his coach had hoped, and Teig had another goal in mind. At the age of 16, Teig joined the Parachute Regiment. He stayed with the PARA's for a good 3 years, before applying 3 times and eventually getting into the SAS. At that point in his life, the entrance exam to the SAS was the hardest thing he'd ever done. Even the first phase, focusing on endurance and stamina was grueling and he almost quit a few times along the way. In fact, if it wasn't for the verbal onslaught he was sure to get from his coach and his mother if he did quit then he probably would have.
His time in the SAS was some of the best days in his life. He felt truly accepted for once, and the men in his regiment were like brothers to him. Hell, even his commanding officer as much of a hardass as he was still cracked a joke here or there. He also learned how to properly deal with pressure and stress during his time in the SAS. After all, when former veterans were sieging the Iranian Embassy and breaking in through the back window with a sledgehammer of all things it wouldn't pay to be a coward.
His time in the SAS was cut short by a new opportunity. His commanding officer had been contacted by a representative of SHIELD, asking for new recruits for their Operations team. Of course, he put forward Teig, who accepted after much consideration.
Character Quote: "Who Dares Wins"
Theme Song: Skeleton - Bloc PartyAnything Else: Posting once a week is important so as not to slow down the roleplay or cause needless stalling. My favourite Marvel storyline is probably 'Taskmaster - Unthinkable' if we're including comics.
