True words. I appreciate the lecture, too. I wish I could think of something to respond about the same length as yours to make a more meaningful appreciative gesture, but I guess not. What I'm trying to say is that I appreciate your wise words. This is a lesson I'll never forget. (Or at least not try to forget.)

Baking Peach Chillers

It's very simple. Just make a story, it doesn't have to be too long, but more than 1 paragraph. This is for a very good cause. You just bake a peace chiller, and as I previously mentioned, make it longer than at least one paragraph. Nothing too hard, unless you're not willing to do anything productive with your time, I suggest you come here.

EDIT: Peach Chiller's Playhouse! A place to build your writing skills and become better. Brainstorm ideas for your "product", mix in the ingredients, bake it... then release it to the public! If you don't feel comfortable with releasing it, you can PM it to a friend! Just a silly idea I thought of! Uh, enjoy!

Alright, I'll start it off.

Charmander!

One paragraph, that's all you have to write. This is an exemplary piece of all you have to do... in the Peace Chiller world... such a random name, but such a simple concept, that can only be done right if you read carefully... skimming through the text, calmly and swiftly..... time slowly stretching, stretching away.... and fading..... You skim, you brim with all sorts of thoughts about your story, and then you begin to write, aspiring my idea.... and multiplying the greatness.... by even more. The possibilities are endless, as endless as a void, a void of possibilities, ideas, collaborations... all molded into one puzzle.

As aforementioned, this is just an exemplary bake, and it is not meant to be taken seriously. You can put anything into your story. Also, I'm not done with my story just yet. One paragraph to go. And away we go, and away we go, with the money. As I type my ideas into this one very paragraph, you think; 'what am I going to write?'. Assuming you want to do something productive and unleash your full potential as a writer, this is the write place to come, especially if you want to express yourself in a silly fashion. Okay, I think I'm finished now.

I want to understand the mindset of the people who are willing to spend enough time to express interest in an RP, ask questions about an RP, design a character for an RP, edit and adjust this character so he gets accepted...

...but who, once the RP is up and the character is accepted into it, suddenly decide that showing up and actually posting in the IC tab is just too much fucking work.

And forget ever getting an apology or at least an excuse. These people disappear and they want you to wonder whether they're coming back. They want you clinging to false hope.

To those of you who do this, why do you fucking do this? Is it ego? You want to know people are thinking about you, so you entrench yourself in that "fashionably late" bullshit and just take it to extremes? What is it? What? Why?

(Edit) P.S. If you do this, make no mistake that you're the cancer of RPGuild. I hope you have to take a bath in Tabasco after dunking your buttcheeks in a bucket full of broken glass and thumbtacks. I hate you even if you haven't done it to me personally, because there's a possibility, however slim, that after reading this, that you still have the titanic iron balls to apply for one of my RPs and waste more of my time. I hate that you and your slimy kin make me feel like I have to do background checks on people before I accept them into an RP census. What is this, fucking border control? Does the Guild need its own DHS to keep you rancid cunts out of our threads?
