I'm still trying to think of a lastname Q_Q so bad at japanese names yo.
Chose level 3 because I didn't want to seem too powerfull. I could lower the level of the power if you want (or heighten her level to 4).
I'll think of a name when I've expanded a bit on the atmosphere manipulation thing :D just a moment...
Name: Lizu Hashimoto
Age: 15
Appearance:

Personality: Outgoing and physical. Likes to joke around and cause trouble and is never one to back down from a fight. She is quite protective of her friends however and would never see them left alone or hurt by anyone. Sees herself as something of a "big sister" and tends to surround herself with people who she can rely on, and who can rely on her. Incredibly dependent on attention.
Level: 4
Power: Air Bounce - Can cause combustion in the air in pinpointed locations, which means she can cause explosions in a range from tiny sparks to huge wall-blowing booms. Being at level three, however, she sometimes has a hard time controlling the explosion which may cause it to backfire. Her powers originate from being able to manipulate the oxygen in the air, which means she can also cause dust explosions or wind ripples. Doesn't matter if it's raining outside, if there is oxygen in the air she can combust it.
As she is adept at manipulating the atmosphere, she can also redirect the different gases in the air to increase or decrease the oxygen level in an area for example. This is what made her dub the power "air bounce", as she could bounce oxygen between explosions to increase their effect.
History: Somewhat of a "delinquent", she never focused much on her studies which means her power level is credited mostly to talent. Sure she attends school, and she passes most of the tests, but she tends to skip classes sometimes to hang out with other ruffians. This has made her somewhat of a disappointment to her parents who keep nagging her about if she studied, she could become a level five "for sure". She tends not to listen though and instead spends time on the streets.
Due to her tendencies of getting in fights, her parents decided that if they can't stop her they might as well help her protect herself so that she wont get sent to the hostpital... So they signed her up for kick-boxing classes, of which she protested all the way there only to love it afterwards. She spends more time there nowadays than out in the streets picking fights, so her parents see it as a kind of success from their part.
Now all that's left is for her to find some real friends and pick up her studies...
Balon sighed in comfort. A hot water spring, who would've thought! Setting foot on land after weeks on the ship was such a relief... Maybe now, they would finally be able to find peace. Being a handy man, and somewhat of a "do-what-I-feel-like"-guy, he had decided to build his home among the trees. A treehouse near the northern clearing, near the beautiful flowers and the meadow. It had taken longer and he had to pay (or bribe) some of the passagers to help him build it, and sure it wasn't very big but it was comfortably living up in the trees with such a beautiful view.

Resting his arms and head on the edge of the hot water spring, he sighed once more. "Isn't this just the best thing?" he said to Blythe. "Free of responsibility of the homeland, no longer the feeling of being constantly hunted... No longer fearing for our lives!" he smiled and closed his eyes. "This is paradise."
Little did he know, however, that the merfolk were aware of their pressence on the island... And probably watching them this very moment.
"Hey, why'd you try to jump off that darn cliff anyway?" he said, exhaling the smoke of his cigarette like always.
Cool! I think I'll have some kind of lesser noble to join one of the stronger ones where needed.
This sounds pretty intresting, but I must ask a question. Is the level of technology considered to be standard medieval D&D technology, or what?

Aye, standard D&D tech is what I have in mind. However it can be extended for the sake of RPing specific races, like gnomes!

Can you give a setting description? Sounds interesting.

The setting is a new, unexplored and unknown continent for you. Other civilizations almost certainly live here, but your people know nothing of this new land. Either they left because they had to flee from their homeland, or they are colonists who broke free of their last kingdom.
Either way, I'll be using the same map layout and you will choose a spot on it where you want to start your civilization.
I'll write one up in a moment then!
Greetings, fellow guildmates.

I am itching to restart an old RP I had on another forum and this time I'm recruiting -you- all! It will be held here of course, so I'm in no way advertising for the other forum.
The way I'm thinking is it'll either be a 1x1 type of thing or in a group of max 4-5. It's turn based, so with too many people it tends to be slowed down quite a lot if someone fails to post.

Below you can see examples of how the Roleplays would look like:
1x1 - 1x1 example
Group - Group Example

Generally I find it a lot of fun leading these roleplays when all goes well. I craft the maps myself using custom pre-made brushes and maps and update them each turn if necessary.
As you can see however, we never got all that far on the group one, but it speaks for itself since people tend to stop posting after a while as it is with all roleplays.

Anyone interested?
Questions welcome!
