@Chenzor Umm.. Sorry about this but I want to change the name of the city, the country's name is Ventium but I want the city to be Verveaux.

Roger that, mister.

I'm happy with that.

I'm a little bit confused on how to proceed as people seem to be doing it differently, with some giving away information here and others putting it in their IC posts. I guess I'll just start by providing the basics here.

I don't really have much choice in color since so many are taken, so just pick one that looks distinct from the other ones nearby. If you forgot, I wanted to be placed in the far northeast coast. The settlement can be called Njor, and I'm calling my nation itself Ard.

Njor and Ard. Got it!

Sorry that I don't give a shit about something so insignificant, if you could see the circle it did its job.

@solamelikethanks? I guess, but you removed the commentary so...

Relax, they're joking around. I'll add you to the map once I get home. Also black is a color reserved for landmark names and other neutral things, so I'll just make your color a very dark blue if that's okay? I'll change at your request.

Everyone should expect advance to turn 2 tonight! Working on putting some necessary info in the OOC OP atm.
I really like the spread-out we have so far. Lots of room for existing players. I will close the doors soon since we're starting to become quite a group! Just waiting on a friend who wanted to join...
@ActRaiserTheReturned Uhhh by the way... Where?
Oh for a starting color, how about orange?

Roger that!

@Chenzor

You summed up the goblins so well :') exactly how I hoped they would be.
Stuck my first introduction to the goblins in the Char sheet section.

Sweet! Glad you liked it.

I'd think that having no magic and being immune to cold makes them different enough. If you think it's fine to have humans like that, then sure.

I would allow you to being highly adapted to cold climates and have a high resistance to cold, but I wont make you immune to it. You can simply be a breed of humans that have very bad magic ability and high resistance+adaptability to cold climates. How does that sound?
Getting dressed while running was an art in itself, and Balon managed to get all his clothes on and his two swords into their scabbards before catching up to the mermaid, who was now standing face to face with Luz, holding a knife against... Is that another mermaid?! "Luz! For god sake put the knife away!" he exclaimed as he caught up to them, standing between Leo and Luz to try and break their meeting gazes. It was a good way to break the tension. Or at least he hoped so.
He took a step closer to Luz and said quietly in almost a hiss (so that the white-haired girl wouldn't hear)
"Coming to a new island and threatening the natives the first thing we do is not a good idea."
He knew she liked fish but this? Oh man, this is gonna be one hell of a ride, he thought.
Can I join and have my spot on the very northeast coast, as far north as possible?

Also, how is this for a custom race?

Ards

-Good morale
-Above average in stature
-Above average in strength
-Average reproduction
-Average intelligence/cunning
-Average tech
-Below average diplomacy
-Below average lifespan (rarely live to 40s)
-No magic
-Almost immune to cold and thrive in cold regions
-Dislike temperate and warm areas, a bit uncomfortable in temperate weather and weakened in the heat

Basically slightly stronger humans, except with no magic. And they like cold places. Inspired by Vikings.

So humans... Can't you just make vikings, then? I'm sorry but all these custom races are starting to confuse me to the point where I can't keep track.
5 out of 8 posters. hmmmm
Update!

Not a new turn yet, as many still haven't posted. But I updated the map finally, check it out.

Interested in joining as an OC race, could use a little help with determining where to start on the map. I am bad at map-making and I don't want to step on anyone else's toes.

My people are the Mithrans, a race of humanoid felines.

Perks: High reproduction, agile, clever intellects, naturally high morale.
Weaknesses: No direct combat magic ability, low strength, prone to clan infighting regardless of morale.

Oh god I didn't see this one! Hi! Some feedback is that "no direct combat magic" isn't that heavy of a weakness, since you're still saying they can use magic just not in combat. Also prone to infighting is a lesser drawback aswell, but the low strength thing makes up for some of it. I'll allow this race for now but you are free to change them if you wish.
Not feeling all too productive today, so I'll simply be boring and not write a wall of text describing why and how. (like I usually tend to do.)

That's okay. You wrote quite a lot on your first post so I think we're okay for now :D

Ok I shall be the tribe of the "Black Peaks", the first tribe amongst the shattered, family based orks of the southern eastward mountain range. United by Hazjul Gaunt, although loosely United at this point. Because of the semi-fragmented structure of the tribe, their actions will shattered but will slowly become more focused as the Chief further asserts his rule and leads his tribe.

Awesome. Hop into the IC. Don't forget: spot, settlement name, color!
But could she really?
