Oh. She was just kidding. Gabriel was delighted to see Vanessa had a sense of humor. "Wait.. How is that wound of yours?" she asked so suddenly, Gabriel froze. Thoughts raced in his mind, trying to come up with an excuse. What a fool he felt like, having not thought about this simple thing. He was so used to being around his pack and other werewolves that he had just forgotten about it.
Suddenly, Robyn dropped her mug. Gabriel realized at once what was up... And although he didn't appreciate Robyn making a mess, he did appreciate a mess that got him out of a mess. He grinned at her approvingly when Vanessa was looking the other way. Robyn winked.

"Yeah Robyn, gosh clean that up!" the others said, playing along.
Gabriel took the moment to close the door and jump into the shower.

A few minutes passed... A hot shower. It had been a little while since he had showered at all, but even longer since he had actually had a -hot- shower. He was delighted... It was wonderful. He suddenly felt guilty he had done this before the rest of his pack, so he decided he wouldn't appear delighted once he exited. He would let them shower when they all arrived at the big house... Whatever that even means.
Gabriel thought about the situation, contemplated this whole affair while under the stream of warm water. He had 'saved' Vanessa from being mugged by the bastard-pups, and she had in return saved his life when they came back to beat him up... Then she had offered them some work, and a bit of money... She was the absolutely kindest person Gabriel had ever met, and also the weirdest. Who does this to complete strangers, anyway? And to a gang of hobos, no less. Still... Gabriel could tell she had been through a lot. He would feel it around her. The way she carried itself, it just kind of... Spoke to him. So then she told them about her inherited house outside of town, and the pack had decided to trust Vanessa halfway due to kindness and half because of gratitude owed to her for saving Gabriel, and taking care of him when wounded.

And then there was the fact that Gabriel was starting to realize who she was, what kind of connection they shared... He couldn't quite remember it all, but... This all felt so familiar to him.

She was a lovely person.

A few more mintues pass, and Conrad sips his tea quietly, listening to Jaze tell him about a movie he had seen as a kid, way before he was homeless. Thomas was helping Robyn and Vanessa clean up the 'accident'.
"So, Vanessa." Thomas said, approaching her. "I'm sure Gabriel already introduced you to everyone, but I'd like to say hi in person. So hi, nice to meet you." he said and held out his hand to her for a shake (he had made sure to wash his hands before).
"As a group, we really want to thank you, don't we guys?" he continued. Conrad and Jaze looked up, and Robyn rolled her eyes. Conrad spoke next. "Yes, we do... Gabe told us what happened. You were being harassed by some schmucks, and he had stepped in to scare them off, and later they came back to beat him up, so he found his way to your place, where you helped him and nursed him even though it could endanger yourself." he said. Jaze nodded agreeingly. "On behalf of the pack, we thank you, Vanessa. You are a very nice person." said Jaze.

Then, Gabriel came out of the bathroom with the new clothes on and with clean (but not quite dry) hair. The others applauded, teasing him, as he came out. "It feels weird having clean clothes. I don't remember everything being so... Stiff." Gabriel said, smiling at the others. "Hey, you'll make us jealous." Conrad said jokingly.
Gabriel looked at Vanessa. "I'm kidding, of course. I really like these. Thank you for letting me borrow them, and your shower... It's been a while."

After that, the group hung around in Vanessa's living room when nothing special was happening, just chilling with each other, talking, and telling Vanessa about themselves in ways that wouldn't give their secret away.
In the back of his mind, Gabriel was still terrified she'd ask about the wounds again, but he had came up with an excuse. He'd say they still hurt and are sore, and if she wants to see them he will just say it's too sore to life his arm... So that he won't have to show her. Or maybe he could wear fake bandages..? Bah, details...

He caught himself staring at her, and looked away, continuing to talk to the others as if nothing happened. They didn't seem to notice anything either.
I know the feeling. I was there a few months ago.
Keep it up, friend! You'll be alright!
Alright :D
Glad we're keeping this going. It's nice to have some RP to come back to that isn't super serious and super pressuring into posting!

Also, nice save Robyn xD
"I didn't... Mean to say you were a lesbian." Gabriel responded, shocked. He didn't mean to offend her, and feared that he had until she chuckled. His expression lightened.
When she entered the bathroom with the clothes, he accepted them, looked at them, and put them aside. He looked at her. "I wontt ask you how you are feeling, or if you are alright. I've seen a lot of that face you're making right now." he said suddenly, complete honesty expressing his facial features. "And I'm smart enough to put two and two together. I can guess why you have your brother's clothes here."
Gabriel put his hand on Vanessa's shoulder. The others watched from the living-room, understanding, or minded their own business. They respected Gabriel and now even Vanessa. "So I won't ask. I will say however that if you need to ventilate or if you want to talk about what's troubling you, me and my entire group out there will listen. You've been a true friend to us so far, and shown kindness in just a few days that we've never seen in years." he removed his hand from her shoulder and ran it through his hair, which was getting in his face. "So we're here for you."
He smiles, finishing his little speech. Robyn rolled her eyes at the goofy fussball attitude of Gabriel, but secretly she loved it. The others were basicly smiling and grinning at each other.
I've got it! Sending it to Kitty.
Julius gets up and draws his sword, clutching his side with his left, free, hand. "I can't bear another fight, I'm still wounded and beat up after today."
He looks at the others, battle-stance ready, but reluctant to fight. He waited for the figure to reveal itself in the glow of the campfire...
Lemme know if any of you are headed to art class. Me and Robyn are taking a break B)
Gabriel looked at the others. "Hear that, gang? Vanessa has hot water." he grinned at them, and they rolled their eyes back at him. "So go on, take a shower." he continued, playfully attempting to provoke any of them. They were all far too polite to ask to take a shower at Vanessa's home. When Vanessa came back with some clean clothes, she closed the door in quite a funny way. It was a sort of clumsy confidence that was quite entertaining to watch. So this is what it's like living in an apartment, they thought. ''What? A woman alone must find her own ways to move around, even with big boxes in her hands'' she said and placed the box down. She even held up a towel to Gabriel. "Go on, it's yours to use." she said, continuing. "I believe I even have a bottle of men's showergel... It must be in the cabinet under the sink."
Gabriel raised a brow. "Men's showergel? Why the heck would you have that?" he asked, confused, accepting the towel with his hands but didn't really know what to do with it.

The others looked at Gabriel. "Come on dude, you the leader of this pack-- I mean gang." started Thomas. "What?" Gabriel blinked. Robyn motioned her hand towards him, "Yeah Gabe, go on." she said. Gabriel opened his mouth to protest, but was interrupted by Conrad, who was grinning devilishly. "Indeed it would be appropriate for our dear leader to be granted the honor of 'first shower'." he said, happy with himself. Jaze was simply looking on, smiling, finding the situation as hilarious as the others.
"Alright..." Gabriel said reluctantly and stood up. "Vanessa, if you would allow me to, I will borrow your shower and be the first in the gang not to smell like a... Dog." he looked at the others, laying emphasis on the last word. He was smiling so much his cheeks might've burst. He found his own comment to be quite hilarious. The others rolled their eyes and sighed at his bad humour, but said nothing. "I know nothing of fashion. Throw me some clothes, will you?" he turned to Vanessa, and took off his shirt as he entered the bathroom, eager for a hot shower. As his chest exposed itself for a second before he disappeared into the bathroom, the others could catch a glimpse of the wounds he had gotten the night before. They were completely healed, and no bruises were left on his body. Jaze noticed, and worried Vanessa would too. The others didn't notice, however, and went about their own business, talking about usual affairs and what-not. Whatever homeless people talk about.

Gabriel left the door half-open as he looked himself in the mirror. He had only taken the shirt off, as he waited for Vanessa to bring the clothes. He didn't want to just... Take the clothes, in case there was something in the box Vanessa didn't mean to give away. He had accepted 'charity' before but this was completely different. For the first time in years, the pack would sleep under a roof. It was a lot to take in...

Or, y'know.
Draw a costume.

But that's not the same Q_Q
I suppose I'll do that though since I don't have any other ideas.
After finishing up cleaning, Robyn retreated away from the crowd. She had felt a huge social pressure just standing there among other people, interacting with them, talking with them. Although she felt like she fit in here more than anywhere else in the world, she still didn't fit. Mopping was easy enough, and eventually the gym was cleared out, relatively cleaned. Roberta went on to do her business, and Robyn didn't want to bother her... So she slank away from the group. She didn't know if anyone noticed or not, but she made her way to what was to be her first day on the 'job'... As an art class instructor. It was empty, as Robyn had assumed, but it didn't bother her. She liked it this way. Here, she had art supplies of all kinds, lots of room, every possible instrument of art one could think of!

But when one has the power to create anything possible to her imagination, when one has the ability to literally conjure something out of nothing, the dream of every artist, then what else could one do?
She didn't realize it yet... So she started drawing with simple pencils on a plain paper. The door to the classroom was open. Anyone could enter. Robyn was sitting up front on the main desk.
