Every Rose Has It's Thorns

I take out my sack lunch with sushi and edamame, trying to be discreet about having a weird lunch. My head quickly darts up as i heard my name called and i wipe the corn off my face as soon as it's flicked at me. "Ugh, immaturity..." i mutter as you say that stuff to the kid and i blushed. "Yeah, sure, i'll tell ya.... odin" i said, trying to get used to remembering his name and i dip my sushi rolls in their ponzu sauce. "mmmmnn, yummy~" i sighed of relief, getting a break from all the imbeciles of the world. I take out a pencil and sketch book and draw while occasionally nibbling on my edamame and sketches out what looks like me playing an electric guitar in anime form.

I smile as i see you stare at me in my periphreal vision. And something made my insides feel weird as i heard the wit and subtle charm in your voice as i playfully punch your shoulder and gets back to work. "I'm rose. and if you know any better, you'll stay out of my way." i stare at the teacher as he blabbers on and on about genetics and takes very detailed notes, even making my own connections on paper, but not expressing them publicly, being rather shy and not wanting to be incorrect and publicly humiliated. The rest of class was a blast aside from the occasional hand brushing between me and.... uh... crap, what's his name... Odin, i think.... The lunch bell rings, thankfully... I'm starving... i head to lunch, but no matter which table i tried to sit at, they all gave excuses, so i sat alone at lunch like i have countless others at my previous school.

i look over at the girl doing this to you and i roll my eyes, disgusted at how young ladies nowadays are so desperate for a man when they can function just as well if not even better without one. I stared at the boy who was trying, but miserably failing, to fix the projector with an awkward smile to pair with it. at the end of class, i go to the teacher and explain how to work the projector to her "see, power off, then on, and there is a help button right here with the question mark on it and there are these keypads and the ok button for you to use if you need to know almost anything about how to use the projector" and i push my glasses up the bridge of my nose slightly, trying to hide my smarts for certain tech. I then start heading to science, another personal favorite class due to experimenting and stuff still being discovered and a lot of mystery-like questions. The teacher was a nice young man with tawny auburn hair and hazel eyes and it was his first year teaching overall.

*the bell rings and i look down at my schedule to head to my next class. what was it again..? oh yea, social studies... my second LEAST favorite... they're all dead anyways...... i walk into class with disgust at having an old hag for a teacher and seeing the same boy who was late in art class show up again as i mutter* oh... joy...

*snickers as i see that someone was late and scolded at. i neatly sketched out pictures as i happily hummed "Let The Bodies Hit the Floor" while i worked. the boy seemed cute, but also like a dumb jock that isn't quite my type, but i still act polite by waving and giving you a small smile before going back to my work*

A new student arrives at Sakura High. She gets off of her bike and locks it in, double checking to see it won't be stolen. She grabs her cat ears headband and pikachu backpack and heads into school, not giving any concern to a few stares being given to her since she's new. They were probably just sort of shocked that there was a girl wearing some really distressed jeans and a blood red hoodie. She looks down at her schedule, and is very pleased she got art for her homeroom and heads in there with some time to find a spare seat.

New kid at school.. moved and registered in late September. favorite song is "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" and has that blasting through her sound-proof headphones almost constantly. loves drawing. she's kinda antisocial or cold/distant to most. Has no interest in dating the main guy because he hasn't proved himself to her yet.

Also, she loves riding her bike, distressed clothing, her signature headband, and sweatshirts.
