Personality- Due to some traumatic family issues Adrian is dressed up as a girl, who goes by the name as 'Aryia' and he has simply melded into this persona, which he doesnt really mind as he is easily able to impersonate both genders freely as his body with quite feminine even though he was a boy.Despite this all weird crossdressing thing, as Aryia he had a really outgoing personality, and often had 'flings' here and there with cute guys of many other races, that he would have one-night stands with before leaving them. With whomever he meets he quite flirtatious and oftens likes to toy around people's feelings
Appearance-
Abilities - Being raised as a Gnoll, Aryia body is tough, yet agile and lithe from her travels of being a bard. Her skills are mostly within her magics but, in the physical side of battle, she can handle herself well among the men, with relative ease. Her battle style usually consist of swishing and twirling dodging and attacking as if it was all a performance, but her strikes are quick yet true, landing in the spot she wants to hit the most. Besides from her fighting skills, Aryia is a skilled bard with her hands beside with her hand-to-hand combat and other... playful things, she can play anything as an make-shift instrument if she wanted it to be. Her main performance are usually with the Lute or various wind or string instruments.
Powers - Along with great performance skill, Aryia is gifted with the ability to use magic along with her performances giving everyone songs to hear as they fight in the dungeon, which are usually scary and all that. Her skill in magic does not restrict her to her instruments as she can preform simple feats of both defensive and offensive magic here and there. But her main artillery of spell, lay within her instruments as it provides more various ways to use her magic.
In the type of magic her instrument uses, are mostly enchantments or charms that she places on allies or enemies to improve the situation of the battlefield to their advantage. But along her list of performances, she has also a well suited list of healing spells that are actually able to play on the flute or other wind-instruments that can heal her team mates by hearing her play it. The same goes for when she plays her offensive spells, as solid sound attacks can be produced from her instruments with certain difficulty.
[Offensive Spells]
Aether's Zephyr - This can be played with any instruments but with a wind-instruments it is empowered. When Aryia plays this spell, it creates a gust of divine wind that hurts undead or evil creatures if it blows against them. This wind isnt strong, but nor is it weak. This wind can at move some piles of paper or blow away some torches. When played with a Wind-instrument the power of this ability is increased to the point where the wind can make movement quite difficult, as it can make a tree shake constantly while its in the area of the wind.
Cords of Chaos - This ability can be played with only string instruments as it requires strings to be properly played. If any other instrument is used it power in cut in half. When played with a string instrument, the Cords of Chaos during it performance can target up to 2 enemies, which makes them go slightly ravage attacking their allies. This is just what it does, the success of this ability depends of the willpower of the enemies, if they succeed their not affected. If they fail they will be overcomed with chaos.
Cupid's Arrow- By using a string instrument, and only a string instrument it allows Aryia to target one unit to make it fall under her control depending the willpower of the unit. The unit, has their senses slightly dulled and is easily compelled to do things, what his controller ask them to do. The unit is only affected If it succeeds a willpower check then it inst affected. If it fails it is thrown into your control, but if you attack that unit then the charm is reversed. Also the charmed unit will not randomly sacrifice itself, and can only be convinced to do crazy things if it is persuaded that it will help. ((I.E: Convincing a man to take a dive into a pool of acid would be crazy, but if you convinced him that it would feel nice to take a dip into a nice cool pool, then you could make him jump, as you made him believe it was not a pool of acid, but water.
[Defensive Spells]
Strings of Aphrodite's Love - After playing a series of magic notes, those notes will surround a friendly ally with them and protect them from attacks, and can block some strong techniques. On the other hand these magic notes, can be used to enchant the person's attacks or power when they cast a spell
Embrace of Aphrodite - Like the Strings of Aphrodite's Love, this ability is only to be used as defense, and unlike the String's spell, this spell can target up to 3 units. The notes that are played, are physically manifested and swirl around allies, protecting them but since they are dispersed out more the defense is weaker. The defense of the spell that is put on the allies can block most weak attack but dispels after getting hit with one regular attack.
Performance of The Astra Planeti - Aryia's most versatile and weakest spell, if used at its minimum Potential. When its used with skill it can be the strongest technique that a bard can use to help her team mates There are five stages of The Astra Planeti
1. Fiery One, Planet Mars -[ The first form of Astra Planeti, it is the first barrier of this defensive spell that allows Aryia to create a barrier composed of elegant and calm music notes that remain semi-stationary as they float around. The cost of summoning the 1st barrier compared to the other barriers is quite small in comparison as it drains 10% of mana and stamina, with a 10% mana upkeep. The Barrier itself is a simple one that block only the weakest of attacks and spell, and its ability to distort space is not present in this form. This means the barrier takes the full force of the attacks thrown at it.]
2. Bright One, Planet Mercury -[Second form of Astra Planeti, this is the 2nd barrier which overlaps the 1st barrier. The energy required to summon this barrier increased tremendously to a 30% drain of both Stamina and mana and a 20% drain. This barrier is completely created with more advance music notes, of various colors, that swirl around the limited space, that is already taken up by the stationary music notes. Inside the barrier is a colorful unique coat of color that is simply hard not to be in awe of. The barrier itself is more advance than its first form and can be taken down only by strong attacks or magic. Its ability to distort space however is still almost nonexistent, that its not even worth to mention as the space distorted around it is only about 5%.
3. The Shining One, Planet Saturn -[The third form and most convenient form of the five. The energy required to summon this is a hefty 50% drain to mana and stamina with a 30% drain to both as well. This barrier is completely organized with every note dashed in every color that swirls around, now indistinguishable as every magical note is mixed up with one another. The defensiveness of this technique is the same as its second form, but its distortion ability has increased to a 15%
4. The Blazing One, Planet Jupiter -[The fourth form and maximum potential of the defensive technique, the energy to summon this is a astonishing 70% with a 40% drain to both mana and stamina. The barrier's defense is now a remarkable force to deal with as only the strongest of moves can destroy this barrier. Its summoning takes a while, for it takes some time to summon all 4 barrier at once, and is a tricky job to create a mass of musical note of various kind to create this barrier. The skill in space distortion in this barrier is 25% now, and can properly, create a 'second' layer of skin around the main barrier itself to soften and knock down a fourth of an attack's power down, before it strikes the barrier. Time distortion is also present as time is quickened by 5% inside the barrier.
5. Dawn-Bringer/Evening Star, Planet Venus -[N/A]The final locked form of this defensive technique which requires a forsaken amount of mana and stamina as it drains 90% of it and has a 50% drain of both stamaina and mana. This form is locked because of its 50% space distortion and it massive drain on the bard, for them to make 5 barriers at once, will be nearly impossible unless you are near the rank of a god. The defense of this ability is also impressive as it can block nearly everything.[N/A]
[Misc/Passive Spells]
Muses Skill - A talented bard like Aryia is know sometimes for her most advance technique 'The Astra Planeti' which is her strongest defense magic. This skill allowed her to save many in time of need as it somewhat bends the space around the barrier. Her skill as a bard, beside her legendary technique gave her the reputation of almost being somewhat of a goddess of music and has tremendous regenerative ability to stamina and mana due to her rigorous spells. Beside her preset skills here she can create more spells as any of the three sections.
Bard's Legendary Ability - The ability to use music to turn it into an elemental attack is no simple feat, so all offensive spell has a 25% mana drain per cast. Defensive spells on the other hand drain 25% stamina after casting, due to the amount of music notes that have to be created. Misc skills, only take a drain on 10% to either stamina or mana after casting. A Bard can also use their voice as a makeshift instrument, as long as that spell doesn't require a specific instrument
Ima Tough Gnoll - Stamina and Mana problems have little affect on Aryia, who toughed out to withstand burn outs incase she overuses her mana or stamina up to 150%. But once she reaches pass the 100% usage zone, regeneration is cut to half, and spells may go haywire until it reaches back down to 100%.
Apollo's Light - Whenever a spell is played, Aryia if wanted can chose to have the ability to be illuminated or not. The level of lighting is fairly basic and is no brighter then a candle stick.
Chrono's Fingers - Being a skilled bard, Aryia has the ability to play two songs at a time, but with half of the power and efficiency of them.
Presence of Nyx - With any instrument, Aryia with a single note or two can dim a Light Source to a lower level of light that it is.
Asclepius Glow - Even with playing normal music, Aryia's music that she plays provides a soothing effect that helps the recovery of her team mates stamina, as long as she has the mana and stamina to keep on playing. The drain is a 20% drain of both mana and stamina as the notes to help soothe stamina and health is advance.
Weaknesses - Although Ayria is indeed charming when you first met her, it isnt in the same way around when Aryia meets you. Aryia is always judgmental when she meet other people, unless they're cute then all commonsense is thrown into the wind as she admires then and tries to trike up conversation with them, no matter if their enemies or friends. So, if you put everything in a nutshell, Aryia is a person who likes people for their looks, and sometimes their personality. She also has some problems with mellow personalities as she wish for them to do something due to her outgoing personality. Besides this, Aryia is always... flirtatious to her companions of either sex as she does not mind 'experimenting' with people sometimes as she believes its something fun and entertaining for the two of them to do
History - From birth, Adrain's parents were disappointed at him, for the two of them always wanted a girl, but they couldn't have it done for it would cause more trouble than needed, so they decided to call Adrain, 'Aryia' and dress him up as a girl for the rest of his life. Raised with a family of Gnolls in a civilizied place is pretty strange, with people questioning the safety of themselves as they have neighbors who are Gnolls, and their 'daughter'. This always left Aryia often alone to herself or in the back allies making the wrong kind of friends. But, these kind of friends accepted who she was and often helped her in times on need. Her friends and her always hanged out together usually picking on the snobby kids in the neighborhood. But, that was when they were younger. In school as they got older, Aryia was one of the surprsing 'prettier' students in the school and was also surprisingly popular too, among the student body. This certainly surprised the parents, but they ignored it, and Aryia. During this time Aryia was around 13ish her family left her as their neighbors and some other people drove them out but, Aryia herself stayed with her friends at the gang hideout, That was when he revealed himself to them and this surprisingly shocked most of them. But, their bonds were tight and they stuck together in the hardships
