Escaping The Darkness Black.
Its a familiar color.
One that we see many times a day, an hour atleast.
And thats all you can see right now.
You can hear your heart beating, almost feel the vibrations reverberating throughout your chest. Its a terrifying sound, moreso as its the only sound you can hear. That and your quickened, labored breathing, echoing through the room you sit in.
Its time.
You blink and open your eyes.
The room is dark, with only a small vent above allowing light in, which in turn casts an ominous grey light to everything in the room. You are alone, breathing and in terrible pain. You are wearing a medical vest, with blood splattered upon it. Standing up now, your legs are weak, and almost give out underneath your weight. Gritting your teeth, you stand, holding onto the nearby wall for comfort. The wall is cold and metallic, and you turn around to see where you are.
In front of you is a glass window, immense in size and strength. You try to peek through it to the other side, but its dark and you cant see into it. You have no memory of this place and you try to piece together the reason you are in this prison. Whats your name? How old are you? You try to remember, try to access that deep bank of memory, but its too hard. You grunt and turn around, looking for anything that can aid you in leaving the room.
The room is small, only having a bed, a small metal chair and a nearby tray with food on it. Partially eaten, a loaf of bread along with a cold slab of meat lay on the tray. You look for any sort of exit, anywhere, but alas, you find nothing of the sort. Grabbing the nearby chair, you turn towards the window and with as much strength as you can muster and slam it against the window, hoping it breaks.
The chair smacks into the window but it rebounds off in your hand, and you fall back from the impact. You land with a whump, the chair dropping to the ground near you. Your dirty, dried blood covering your face and hands. You then notice it. The palm of your hand has something written on it. A Name, birth date and what looks like a bar code above it. Perhaps this will help you figure out who you are, help piece things back together...
Until then...
You're left in the Darkness.
Anyone up for an amnesiac, horror story that is written in free-form? Set in a sci-fi prison, you awake in a cell with no recollection of who you are. The prison is not safe however, and escape is a primary concern for you. I will be playing the GM in this game, but you people will be making the decisions. All I will be doing is providing the environment and challenges. I am looking for a good amount of players to start.
If there is enough interest, I will start putting together both an IC and an OOC.
