Man, lately the hate I receive for what I want to RP really is obnoxious and actually putting me off from RPing all together pretty well. Sigh.

When you crave certain RP plots so much but no one wants to do them with you so you're just... *sad writer noises*
Name: » Alistair Sullivan Nickname(s): » Al / Ali / Sullivan Age: » 1 century (looks like thirties) Gender: » Male Species: » Vampire Nationality: » Scottish Sexuality: » Bisexual Height: » 185cm / 6'0'' Weight: » 72kg / 185lbs Likes: » Born in Victorian times, Alistair keeps true to what je enjoyed as a human. He loves to sit in front of the crackling fireplace in the evening, swirling a glass of wine and reading a good, historic book. Obviously, wine isn't exactly his favoured drink now anymore, but the actions remain the same nonetheless. He enjoys well-versed conversations, though oftentimes doesn't find the time to indulge in these kinds of hobbies. And, considering how much he travels due to his profession, he has found a new passion in visiting the most unique places on earth. Dislikes: » His definite biggest dislike on this whole, wonderful planet are demons. He hates them with a passion. In his eyes, demons have no right to exist. They're an abomination, created by a deity that doesn't look back on the mess they created. Qualities: » In terms of qualities Alistair's intelligence and cunning logic has proven to be quite significant. He is capable of worming his way into someone's consciousness and finding out about all the little details the person might be hiding. He is an exceptionally good planner and normally uses that to prepare for any possible outcomes. Further more, he is quite famous for his 'finishing touch'. Projects he starts are carried through to the end under any circumstances. Weaknesses: » Considering his perfectionism, Alistair easily frustrates if things don't go the way he wants them to. He can react quite aggravatedly and usually doesn't take failure well. Additionally, considering his absolute disdain towards demons, he can react rather 'rejecting' at times. Despite his clear genius, he is just as easily manipulated through his obsession with getting 'everything right' as he can persuade others into doing his deeds. Personality: » Alistair is a very calm and thoughtful personality. He doesn't like jumping head-first into a situation and improvising. It needs to be executed perfectly, and in order to achieve that, he has developed an obsession with collecting information. He wants to be prepared at all times, and that he achieves with meticulous perfection. During arguments he usually stays calm and quiet, lets his opponent power themselves out, before ultimate winning the battle. Should his life or his business be threatened, however, he can sometimes lose his bearings and actually lash out, verbally as well as physically. He attempts not to at any costs, though, as he believes that whoever loses their control, loses everything. Abilities: » Superior stamina, strength, hearing, vision and regeneration (when satiated; obviously regresses when starving) » Identification of blood types, substances, etc. via taste » Venom » Retractable fangs
The venom of vampires works quite like a drug. Considering that vampires are relatively newly evolved predator and don't have claws or other means to apprehend and suppress their prey, they have developed a biochemical solution. The drug, in relation to the victim's chemistry, either works as an enhancing drug, causing a high similar to the one of conventional drugs, or immense pain. Either way, the victim would usually be unable to escape the feeding vampire. Additionally, should the vampire mix their bloods, the venom works as an accelerating turning indicator. A turning cannot be done without the venom.
Note: I prefer playing with the venom as it's essential for the type of vampire I've created myself. I can also play a 'traditional' vampire if requested.
There was a small sigh passing the man's throat at seeing the other being walked in. He had heard many stories about Lucy already, and just because he was male, she did already do advances on him. Tried to use her own 'advantages' to get through, and get some bonuses. Not that it actually helped her with Keith, given his own path, but sometimes he indeed was tempted to just give in.
Just not today.
"Miss Gio," he greeted her, and there was a certain tiredness in his voice already, as he once more scanned her file lying in his lip. Maintaining a somewhat acceptable smirk. "You know exactly I'm not permitted to give my patients anything but a good conversation, especially no cigarettes." A sigh passed Grimes' throat. "And especially not if you're just faking it... We'll start easy. How do you feel today?"
To be honest, Keith hadn't exactly expected John to be overly responsive at all. The first few sessions with the man had already shown, that he was rather paralysed with his psychosis, and therefore, if apparently not stimulated or triggered correctly, there was no way this man would even glance up from his rather apathetic expression. But as soon as the doctor heard about what the patient had done so far, in his own cell, things seemed to get more and more interesting. And mysterious. How on earth had this man been writing all that insane stuff at his walls, if he was supposed to be utterly unresponsive? And how had he managed to write and draw so accurately? People with psychosis often were nothing short but utterly chaotic, how did he find the time and patience to dirty his cell's walls like that? It was getting more and more interesting, and whilst Keith had been rather reluctant to give John his attention at all, things were getting better now. The made a few mental notes to talk about John with his superior as soon as the man was wheeled out of the room, just as ever completely silent and without any reaction. Grimes then took the next file, after shoving John's into his own bag, and quickly looked it over. Time for the next patient, he supposed, a small sigh passing his lips...
To be honest, the doctor hadn't noticed the time passing by until he was suddenly alerted by a beep on his intercom. And as soon as he looked up to check on that, he realised that his first assignment for today was apparently already starting. Well, at least the blond had managed to 'forget' the first part of the morning by occupying himself with the emails. The end of the day wasn't too far away anymore, and soon he would be allowed to go home again...
As the first patient was rolled in, the one Keith didn't find too interesting, he glanced towards said man stuck in his foetal position, an inaudible sigh passing his own throat. Quickly, he turned off the monitor of his computer, and snatched the man's file from his rather messy desk, once more looking over the information he was given. Leant back in his chair meanwhile, waiting for the nurse to leave the room and close the door once more. "John," he started, a small, almost automatic smile playing on Keith's lips. After the last time he had yelled at a patient, he had learnt to maintain at least some form of polite manners, no matter how faked they truly were. Nonetheless, he shoved that thought into the very back of his own mind now, rather concentrating on the case before him. "How are you feeling today?" Not that he particularly cared. He wasn't even fond of calling that man by this ridiculous fake-name; they all knew who he was, and it was stupid to pretend they didn't. But since his boss had ordered him to do so, there wasn't much he could do, unless he desired to be fired. He simply hoped 'John' would be more cooperative than most days...
As soon as Keith noticed the small pile of files with an additional sticky note attached to them lying on his desk, the brunet all but sighed in utter displeasure. He didn't even need to fully read them to know, that today was a hell lot of work, and it was honestly one of these days at which Keith wouldn't want to talk to anyone but himself. Oddly enough, given where he worked. Nonetheless, leaning back in his seat as soon as the screen of his computer turned on, he finally reached for the files -- throwing the sticky note into the bin immediately upon glancing at it --, and started flipping them through. He knew of two of the cases already, but hadn't spoken to anyone just yet. There were many doctors with different fields of work here after all.
The first case was the one he instantly threw back onto his desk. He absolutely loathed famous brats, and this guy honestly looked like nothing but a stupid attention seeker. Grimes would talk to him, of course -- was being paid for it, after all -- but he didn't put too much hope into someone jumping from the third storey of his hotel, and claiming any pictures of horned animals to be as scary as a bloody nightmare. It seemed a little made up. Faked. Especially because Keith understood the reference of the horned animals.
The second case seemed a little more interesting, but genuinely simply because the female in the file seemed to be a pure magnet for men. Keith would never dare to have intercourse with his patients, god no. Especially not after his own past, let alone the oath he had to give as soon as he started working here. As well as the dangers that may were there if a patient was actually involved into paranormal activities. However, her case seemed to be a little... more interesting than the first one. It didn't seem to be as obvious as the first one, regardless of what Keith's results on her might be.
The third and last additional appointment today was the most interesting, though. Grimes was aware of the fact, that many children didn't talk to many different reasons, and he had countless times noticed a paranormal presence with one of these kids. They were most likely the cause for them not verbally communicating, seeing as there was already a friend there. Who didn't need such a tribal talking. Nonetheless, traumas as bad as the one described in Chris' past were a wonderful reason for the lack of talking as well, and therefore, it was Keith's job to find out about that. Seemed to be most challenging, if the boy chose not to pay any attention to Grimes at all.
In the end, however, the doctor simply placed the files back onto his desk, and turned his own attention back to his computer. Logged himself into the facility's server, and started with the morning's emails. Hopefully, Mitsumoto wouldn't be as pestering as he usually was with his stupid 'testing' and 'pressuring'. Keith had noticed that odd... feeling. That he was being tested just as much as his own subjects. But he had managed to ignore that feeling up until now...
Name: » [Unknown / doesn't tell anyone] Nickname(s): » Kaylie Age: » [Unknown / doesn't tell anyone] Gender: » Female Species: » Demon (Succubus) Nationality: » Hellish Sexuality: » Pansexual Height: » 1.70m / 5'6'' Weight: » 60kg / 132.27lbs Likes: » Being a succubus, Kaylie's likes definitely lie in the more intimate things. She loves to seduce innocent souls as well as the ones with the darkest secrets. Serial killers and mass killers usually spike her interest quite well, since she loves the danger and the thrill and the sparkling taste a damaged soul has. However, her interest don't stop with simple sex or anything like that. She also likes to play with others non-intimately. She loves to manipulate others and she adores to watch the chaos she spreads like this. Dislikes: » If anyone can withstand her manipulation or even sees through it, she usually frustrates very easily. She doesn't have the reaction of toddler, meaning, she won't succumb to a temper tantrum if something doesn't work the way she wants it to work. She is a very hard worker and usually keeps on going until she succeeds. But once she realises that something isn't right, she simply loses interest and vanishes. Sometimes, however, it does end a little bloody... Qualities: » The succubus' qualities are definitely social manipulation. Her current job in hell is to persuade dark souls to join the rows of demons rather than to be devoured by whomever gets hungry down there, and she is fairly successful in her doing. Her reputation is exceptionally high and she is often hired to train slaves and pets at the local magical black market. Therefore, she might as well be called a mistress. Weaknesses: » Kaylie doesn't have much weaknesses. She is intelligent enough to turn anything sub-optimal to her favour. However, anyone could slip up every now and then, and she might as well fall for her own tricks if they are used against her. No succubus is immune against seduction, after all, and sometimes she gets carried away a little. In these moments, when she finds true joy in her work, she is the most vulnerable and can easily be turned against herself or against anyone else she is usually loyal to. Personality: » Kaylie's personality, however, resembles her job quite perfectly. She is a rather mouthy, extroverted demon with quite a liking in flirting with others. Whenever she see the opportunity, she will remark little comments, or make sweet compliments. She rather likes her doing, and she lives it as well. Therefore, she can cope quite well with other demons, humans, and whatever might cross paths with her. It is very rare to see her alone and now crowded by love interests... Abilities: » Seduction » Manipulation » Telekinesis » Wind/air control
The seduction of a succubus is easily compared as well as mistaken for mind control. The succubus - as well as the incubus (male form) - uses their body traits to seduce their target. They will move provocatively, swing their hips, swish their tail, or lick their lips. A normal human would probably call that flirting, but for a succubus it's a real art to be mastered. They also use mild mind control magic whilst doing that, but it won't work on beings who are not sexually attracted to the succubus' gender. Therefore, a homosexual man will not be affected by her seduction.
Telekinesis is the art of moving objects with the pure force of one's will. Kaylie is a real master at this, and she usually uses it either to aid her seduction, or when she is bored. Whenever she encounters a fight or a dangerous situation, it also comes in rather handy. However, she can't lift objects exceeding the weight of about a normal sized car. Anything above will cause nose bleeding and extreme pain in her head, which forces her to stop.
Since most magical beings call upon the elements, Kaylie has chosen the wind element to aid her steps. However, she is not as good at it as she is with other traits of her. She might be capable of causing mild blows, maybe even a blizzard, but that is about it. She is still practising, despite her age, and therefore a bloody newbie at it. Whenever she tries it, she often destroys objects since she can't fully control her magic just yet. Therefore, he usually resorts to Telekinesis instead.

Kaylie also possesses a long, elegant tail, and delicate horns with glowing runes on them. Additionally, she can produce wings from her back, but she usually keeps them hidden away. Whilst she normally uses human feet, her original demon form also has hooves.
Every day the same, Keith thought, as he he walked up to the large facility that had been his work for several years now. He would arrive every morning at the same time, would do his work with the patients, and leave every single evening at once again the same time. Ordinary people would probably classify this as the personification of boredom, and honestly, Keith wouldn't object. It was boring. More than that. And if it wasn't for the work itself, he wouldn't do it. And the whole mental asylum look of the house didn't exactly cease his own displeasure. A sigh passed the blond's throat as he made his way inside. Went through the doors, that swung closed behind him again, showed his ID card to the closest security guard to not be mistaken as a stray patient. Regardless of the fact, that he indeed walked every godforsaken morning into this bloody building with the same ID card, the same intentions, and generally looking all the same once again.
The officer quickly checked the ID card, and took a closer look into the man's face, though, before nodding at him. Keith didn't respond. He simply took his ID card back, and passed the man without any further word or social interaction, straightly going for the elevator, that finally brought him to his office's floor. Once inside, he basically threw his bag into some corner, quite uncaring of anything inside probably breaking into the process, as he turned on his computer right after. Sitting down on his chair, another side passing his lips. He knew there were some appointments with different patients scheduled for today, one of them with a girl claiming to hear voice. Either way a very bad case of schizophrenia, or indeed a paranormal presence -- Grimes logically hoped for the latter. It had been some time since he had had any kind of success in his experiments, and he knew he had to show some results if he wanted to continue working here. If anyone only knew, what exactly they were doing here, it would probably be alot more fun. Or trouble. Either way, not as boring as it was today...
Name: » Keith Grimes Nickname/s: » -/- Birthday/Age: » 15th of May, 1981 -- 34 years old (Taurus) Gender: » Male / ♂ Species: » Human Nationality: » American Sexuality: » Heterosexual Height: » 180cm / 5'9'' Weight: » 178.9lbs / 81kg Likes: » Grimes quite enjoys a good glass of Bourbon in his evenings, along with a good film, or a good book. He does prefer silence, though. Darkness seems a little terrifying since he started his work in the facility, so he prefers dimly lit rooms for his work and spare time. He loves to draw, even though he might not be as good as other artists due to his very rare time to actually draw anything. But his skills are decent. He is also an author of paranormal fantasy stories, but only rarely manages to sell them at all. Dislikes: » Keith absolutely dislikes people invading his personal space -- or his own personal freedom at all. He has a huge problem with authorities, and prefers to be the leader of a team rather than being submitted to someone. He doesn't like being commanded around, as little as he likes being spoken to without speaking to the other first. He doesn't like people, especially not the naive, foolish ones, and he has finally come around to show that openly. Also, he is suffering from a rather bad fear of flying. Heights are alright as long as has something to hold onto. Flying freely in the air or in space could very easily trigger a panic attack. Qualities: » Keith's knowledge about the paranormal world, including both, happenings all around the world, and the today's scientific standard of methods and techniques, is remarkable. He is well trained in communications with paranormal beings, such as ghosts and demons, and he enjoys his work. His eyesight is wonderful, his hearing and intuition even more so. No one is as good as him in this field of work. Weaknesses: » Whilst his skills and abilities often cover up his real personality, he is nonetheless a very broken man. Emotional stress often interferes with his own mental capabilities, and he more often than not had to retreat into the safety of his own apartment during a full work day. He isn't as reliable considering stress than he had been as he was still with his wife, and therefore his work with the paranormal side of the world way too easily turns into torture than actual fun for him, seeing as most paranormal beings do rely on the subject's emotional stability. Personality: » Grimes is, thanks to his past, a rather grumpy and reserved character. He doesn't trust people at all, and prefers to work alone. Assistants and colleagues are loathed like nothing else, and honestly, if it was for him, he would run the whole scientific facility all on his own. Keith always tries to stay by himself; he doesn't like talking to strangers at all, much less working with them. He is a true lone wolf, and simply tries to somehow survive. Abilities: » -/- Past/Biography: » Being the son of a rich family, Keith had never really needed anything. They had money, a decent house, and he didn't have any siblings with whom he would have been needed to share anything. He got all of his parents' attention, and honestly, he was a little, arrogant brat. Visiting school, highschool, college, university -- he had always been the one with the best grades. Friends were rare, of course, but he didn't mind. Science was his companion, and no relationship would be better than proven facts. Or facts he tried to prove himself, of course. Nonetheless, when he then finally moved into his first own flat, starting working at a scientific facility dedicated to paranormal activities, he was finally grounded again. The realisation of the 'real world' had hit him rather hard, and work seemed harder and harder to keep up. He found a woman, magically, though. Married her. Became a father to a lovely son. Things seemed to get better, until said work and old habits got ahead of him once again. He was never home, forgot important appointments, and even managed to miss his son's birthday twice. Christmas was a rare occasion for him to be home, and honestly, the love life with his wife had been suffering remarkably either. In the end, the inevitable divorce happened, and he was once more left alone. Kicked out from their wonderful house, he only barely managed to get a decent apartment rather than ending up on the streets. Also only barely managed to keep his job at the facility, but honestly only with the help of a good friend and colleague there. And then he became reserved. Didn't want anyone to come near him, more often than not yelled at colleagues and test subjects. The boss didn't fire him, for that he was indeed irreplaceable with his skills and knowledge, but he nonetheless became the probably most hated staff member of all. Everyone avoided him, finally, but Keith genuinely didn't mind. Being alone was good. Being alone meant safety. Fandom: » -Original Character Without Fandom- Weapons:
