Tsubaki squeaked at the sounds outside her stall, clamping a hand over her mouth to silence herself. Then the banging started, and she couldn't hold it in any longer.

She screamed.
HOOOOOOOORMPH
BYORF
@chukklehed Can't just waltz through the hallways, sorry. Forgot to tell you earlier.

There's some stuff that can't be ignored.

She wasn't waltzing, she was sneaking. Shit's terrifying. Plus she shouldn't have been far from the Newspaper club when that happened
Tsubaki, Practice Building, 2nd floor

Tsubaki tried to focus on what was happening while she walked, carefully picking her way through the corridor. Her guide had disappeared without a sound, and the world felt... wrong. She felt heavier, and the walls seemed to be covered in blood. Just as she thought she had made up her mind to look for a way out, she heard a scream from nowhere and panicked, running in the opposite direction, crashing through the door to the bathroom and trying to hide in one of the stalls.

"It's not real," She muttered to herself, trying to cover her eyes and ears at the same time, "This isn't real, this isn't happening."

I'm thinking your making a mountain out of an anthill here. Unless you can explain what the hero association does with giant monsters. Also a lot, and I mean a LOT of cartoons are about one thing trying to eat another. At least when it comes to looney toons.

I just don't feel like the situation is being treated with the same Gravity it should be. The Hero Association is a very public and outspoken entity. Heroes are constantly being televised and recorded for the general public as a mix between entertainment and reassurance. Especially in a big operation like this one was, the heroes on the scene are going to be watched closely throughout the battle and after, and likely interviewed.

This is the "anthill" I'm talking about. Portraying the Hero Association in a negative way, say, ripping into a still cooling corpse with your bare hands like a savage on live TV, is kind of a big deal. Even if there was no other issue with the action, that alone should give the heroes there pause, and not just Light, but Flash Forward too.

And no other cartoon I'VE watched actually shows anyone being torn apart and eaten. It's only ever implied, and the person trying to do the eating is ALWAYS the villain, not the hero.
Im pretty sure youre missing the point here

That's the viewpoint I'm looking at this from, which makes everyone's attitude rather alarming.
You realize that people in fallout and skyrim don't eat intelligent creatures any more than normal people do, right?

With certain limited exceptions.

Also I don't see why Light would be discriminated against. She's not that much different from the people who can shoot lightning from their hands or who can bathe a battlefield in purple fire.
