Sharon almost immediately revolted away from the physical contact, feeling awkward as he put the white rose into her hair. She backed up slowly, so as to avoid being too close to this odd man. "Sh-Sharon.." She mumbled quietly, collecting her stuff(namely her tiny bag and her precious book), and sat on the ground once more, pulling her knees up to her chest. She gave Angelo an odd look from down on the ground. What was he trying to accomplish by putting a rose in her hair? That's just a waste of a good flower.. She thought to herself, removing the flower from her hair, and placed the white rose into the page she was saving in her book to use as a bookmark. "...a hero, you said?" She looked back up at Angelo from her busied hands, then back down.
Name: Ellie Hong
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Species: Ellie is a "Witch", which are actually an Amazon-ish race of women with natural biological powers that are considered magic where they're from, an alternate version of our Earth.
Extra Information: Ellie has the ability to create portals by literally tearing her hand through the air. Other "magical" feats she can perform include shooting off sparks from her fingers, a sort of charm spell which is used to infatuate people with her(only usable on PCs with permission of course. >w<), and flight. She can perform other magic on top of those named, but it requires her to have her spellbook on her, which are really chants used as a sort of training wheel in her people's communities.
True to their Amazon-ish heritage, Witches are an all female society aside from the occasional man they allow into their land to bring about population growth. They don't really eat or sleep, truthfully, they feed off of the energy of males and can make one small meal last years if they try. They can all perform magic which is natural to their biology, and some witches can combine their magic skills to perform much larger spells.
Sharon sat at the side of the Hero's Monument, curled up into a ball of nerves with her knees held up to her chest. Her eyes showed signs of wear, as she had light bags underneath. She was quietly humming to herself as she noticed a young man approach the monument, and watched him from the side, not sure if she should make her presence known or if she should just stare at him awkwardly from behind the side of the monument. Deciding that it would be best to further examine him, she backed up quietly so as to not be so close to the corner and observed quietly. The book she had at her side was moved so that she wouldn't kneel on it and ruin the binding. That was a quality book, it'd be rude to ruin it in such a selfish fashion. Her hand almost instinctively touched her dagger, although she knew that she'd have almost no reason to use it on him. He was a hero, right? Calming herself slightly, she lowered her arm from her side, placing it on the ground lightly to help her transition into a crouch. This plan of quiet sneaking was foiled rather quickly by her own hand. She felt as though something was crawling along her thigh and squealed slightly as she turned her head to see a rather large lizard stalking across her leg and lost her balance, falling from the crouch and to the ground with a slightly audible "thud." Good job Sharon. Good job.
The hero monument, this'll be fun.
I'm approved. Relief. I almost felt she might not be approved because of her ability. >~<
Excuse me for not posting much in this OOC, I tend to be pretty quiet. o~o
Just wanted to say that I'm Central time.
Name: Abel Dubois

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Blood Type: A

Nationality: French

Ultimite/SHSL: Romantic Enthusiast

Appearence:

Personality: Abel is kind, having been trained to "love thy neighbor" and all that good stuff. He loves talking to people, enjoys helping people through tough situations, and doesn't mind listening to people's issues when they have something they need to vent. When not exercising friendliness that was taught to him, he's quiet and to himself, typically with a book on hand. He's a devout follower of his religion, which is what causes an odd parallel to his personality. In most cases, he tends to be pacifistic, refusing to fight. However, he has one main philosophy sunk into his brain. "Kill only when others kill, lest you be killed yourself." Meaning that, despite his detesting of fighting and brutality, he will kill if he feels that a person directly deserves it. Secretly, he enjoys the concept of romance and reads romantic novels when he has the spare time.

Likes: Cigarettes, romance novels, fine cuisine, quiet

Dislikes: Loud noises, brutality for the sake of brutality, spicy foods, and general idiocy,

Strengths: Pretty good at sneaking
Knows a good bit about human anatomy
Good pain tolerance

Strengths*: Guardian

Weaknesses: Has a mental(rather than physical) addiction to cigarettes
Has horrible sight when his glasses are broken
Not too physically strong

Fears: Blood
Spiders
The number 13

Birth Town: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Bio: While growing up in Louisiana, Abel wasn't always the nicest kid. He was rowdy, got into fights, and arguments with his parents regularly. One day, he was jumped by several kids that were tired of his mouth and he was beaten senselessly. After being left in that alleyway, for hours it had seemed, he was found by a man who called himself Dimitri. Dimitri took him back to the cathedral in which he operated from, and patched Abel up whilst teaching him about the religion that he practiced. While Abel didn't buy it at first, leaving Dimitri as soon as he was healed , he went to see him more after that, watching through the cathedral windows. While Dimitri never encouraged him to come in, or to go away, he was completely aware of Abel watching from the window. Soon Abel began to enter the cathedral, listening to sermons and taking enjoyment in reading the stories that Dimitri had created. Slowly, bit by bit, he was recruited into the ranks of Dimitri's "religion." There was just something about his ideals that pleased Abel. His parents didn't approve of his love of the religion, and began planning moving away when they had the money. While that happened, Dimitri trained Abel along with his other trainees to become his army of Templars. Their objective? Kill the "demons", which were really just murderous humans. Abel was almost ready for his first mission, his first encounter, when his parents finally had the money to move out and did so as fast as it possible, leaving Able's training incomplete. While he never said or did anything directly, he scorned his parents silently as he went about his life as normally as he could from then.
User Name: Cinderella Man
Character's Real Name: Sharon "Sherry" Koshke
Character's Mutant Name: Sheri Noble
Age: 23
Mutant Powers: Manipulation of an explosive green energy that her body produces naturally, flight, and exploding when she's pierced through the heart.
Description:
Personality: Sharon's not what comes to mind when the word "hero" is thought of. Sure, she's capable of helping people and loves to save others, but she's selfish, childish, slightly rude, and easily provoked into doing things angrily. She's easy to trick, if you know how to get under her skin, but she's generally intelligent and has pretty good common sense. Generally introverted, Sharon tends not to work well in team situations most of the time she's put into them. Gets scared easily by the idea of ghosts and fears people stronger than her.
Background: Sharon's an amnesiac and doesn't remember most of her life, beginning at around age 15. Accounting for what happened after that year, she was in highschool after some kind of accident that no one would describe to her. She continued with her normal life for years afterward, until the age of 20 when she got into a giant argument with her current boyfriend. Upon the fight turning physical, she blacked out and awoke in the middle of a large circle of flames, the home around her having burnt down, ashes everywhere. The only place left untouched were the areas around her. Sharon was rushed to the hospital, which she ran from as soon as she awoke, finding that she had no wounds or other marks of harm. She discovered, later, that she was a metahuman and had caused that fire accidentally from emotional stimulation. She wandered for a while, trying to avoid causing more trouble with her powers, before being found by a scout for the Institute and brought in.
