Name: Kouta Himura

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: [Lethargy intensifies]
Kouta typically wears very casual clothing outside of school, sweatpants, t-shirts, the staple of a man who has no need to dress well. He stands, or rather, hunches at a height of 5'5". However, when he stands straight, an extra 3 and a half inches or so are added onto his height.
Personality: The greatest description of Kouta comes in the form of one word. Uninterested. He, in and of himself, tends to be very lethargic and slow. His train of thought is very one track and he can often end up behind in conversations due to him focusing in on one thing too heavily. Or simply not paying attention, that also tends to be the case. He also tends to be semi-irritable at times, although it's never to the extent of being overly rude. As mentioned previously, he's quite lethargic in most situations. When not spoken to directly for several minutes or whilst not doing any physical tasks, he'll often drift to sleep silently. He attempts to avoid as many forms of physical labor as possible with varying success.

On the other side of the coin, Kouta can express extreme amounts of energy in very short bursts and continuously during battle. Waking him from his sleep can lead to a display of this energy, typically leading to him overreacting and accidentally attacking somebody. Kouta tends to be a very big eater, spending large amounts of his income on snacks and meals. Food is a very effective bribe, and can get you miles of favor from him.

Kouta is a decently intelligent person, despite his lack of skill in natural conversation. If you can get a straight answer out of him, more often than not it will end up being decently useful. When it comes to fighting, and specifically protecting others, Kouta has no sense of hesitation. He'll throw himself into a battle if he senses that he's needed without saying a word and will perform as efficiently as he possibly can.

Profession: High School Student

Abilities: Kouta's family has an ability known to them simply as "Absolute Reflex." Absolute Reflex has two applications that Kouta can take advantage of (although he's been told there are more). The first thing that this bloodline ability does is quite obvious. It heightens Kouta's reaction speed to it's peak, essentially slowing things down from his perspective to make it easier to dodge. Unfortunately for him, his use of this skill is highly inconsistent and only manifests itself smoothly when he's in serious danger.

The second grace(or vice) that Absolute Reflex lends to Kouta is a sort of "dangersense." As a sixth sense, it acts as an extension of his body that helps him to know when he could possibly be harmed. The issue with this is that it isn't very specific and doesn't give directions or timing. He could get a flair a few seconds before he gets hit in the face with a soccer ball or a few minutes. As a result, he tends to disregard it more often than not. Both of the skills of Absolute Reflex drain Kouta's energy consistently, being one of the main sources for his stagnant nature.

Although this specifically isn't any form of supernatural ability, at the behest of his family because he has no other skills to protect himself, Kouta has learned a decent amount of swordsmanship. He has a blade especially made for him by his father which Kouta tends to carry about hidden in a guitar case.

History: Kouta's ideals about life have been almost entirely shaped by his parents and what they've told him. He has carried the weight of his lineage, as an only child, entirely by himself and with mixed success. At first, his parents decided that they wanted to be overbearing and make sure that he never went anywhere. Unfortunately, that lead to a lot of argument and issues. So his parents then decided that the best idea would be to let him live on his own, at his request, and watch him grow from more of a distance.

Other: Quite a big fan of movies and rap music.
His guitar case also carries a pillow and blanket. Just in-case.
Right, right, sorry. Totally forgot.
Sitting to himself with a few bowls stacked on top of each other, Kouta was probably on his fourth or fifth helping which he was ravenously attacking and stuffing down his throat with reckless abandon; his feet resting on a guitar case that was sat on the ground.

As he did so, he looked about to see whoever was talking and focused in on some kid talking to an older woman. He also noticed some other people not too far away, but decided that it wasn't worth it to investigate any further and set down his bowl on top of his little stack when he noticed that there was no more food to shovel into his esophagus. Kouta reached into his pocket and lightly plopped a bill into the bowl at the top of the stack to pay for the hearty meal that he'd just consumed.

Almost immediately after he'd set down his bowl, Kouta felt drowsiness begin to set in. He blinked his eyes and bobbed his head, attempting to fight off the sleep. He reached down, cracking open his guitar case half-way, and slipped out a small white pillow which he set on the table in front of him. After closing his case, he then rested his head on the pillow lightly and placed his arms underneath it. His breathing slowed and it was quite easy to tell at that point that he was most definitely asleep.
I'm glad that the abilities weren't any kind of red flag. Also, Kouta is now finished. The history might be a bit meh. Couldn't think of much interesting to say.

I'll definitely keep that in mind, then. .w. I notice that you're a Touhou fan. Or at least, a fan of Kokoro.

I can't think of a post with Clavic that'd be substantial right now. Mod post away, friend. .w.
I'm glad to hear there's no serious issues, I thought his abilities might've been too much.

And I haven't actually read or watched Oregairu, but after peeking at the Wikipedia page a few days ago, I've been considering it.

I did a words! .w.
After escaping the awkward conver-situation with that boy, Florence scuttled off to be by herself and sort of catch her breath. Re-calibrate herself, y'know? She wandered about the institute aimlessly, looking for her room even though she'd known earlier where it was. She raised both of her fists and knocked them against the sides of her head, grunting furiously. "Stupid, stupid. Mobshi hwaga-nayo!" She shouted to herself, mumbling in fragmented Korean as she continued to wander about whilst looking for her room.

Eventually she wandered into the area that she figured was the dorm and quickly recalled where she assumed her room was. Unfortunately for her, what she found wasn't exactly... what she was looking for. Darting out of the room she'd slipped into with her face bright red and her mind startlingly alert all of a sudden. "Sorry!" Florence announced loudly, before peeking back and forth between rooms in the area before finally finding where she'd left her stuff.

"What's this?" She found a dress that was hung in the room that was about her size, very cute. Red trim, black fabric. Classy indeed. "Momma taught me to never turn down a free article of clothing." Florence changed into the garment, wiggling around a bit to become accustomed to the fit. After lounging about for a bit, the banquet she heard about crossed her mind. Looking at the time on her phone, she realized that she was missing it and quickly began rushing out of her room and down to where the banquet was being held. Without thinking much about the idea of assigned seats or anything along those lines, Florence sat down at the seat nearest to her as quickly as possible.

"..Annyeong." She waved politely to the others at the table.
I'll get on my character as soon as possible!
