Weaknesses: Her eidetic memory and anything that can distract her

Personality: Aspen is a distant person, she keeps to herself and is reserved in what she says. Most of the time she only speaks when spoken to and is very obedient. Even among her family she is the same, she hardly shows any emotion and tends to think of herself as a more logical and rational person and refrains from childish things. Although her powers tend to get the best of her and she finds herself using them to scare people...but only if they deserve it, showing she does have a warmer side to her but deep within.

Backstory: Aspen's parents are superheroes but she didn't inherit her telekinesis from them as she is adopted. Aspen was rescued by her parents from the Esper program. She was held hostage by those that ran the illegal program for many years and was rescued when she was 14. As she had no one and claims she was too young to remember who her birth parents are, the superheroes who found her took her in but they were always suspicious of her and distanced themselves. They believed that when she was taken she was old enough to remember her old life but the fact she referred to herself with the name she was given in the Esper program was what made them uncertain. Aspen remained out of school for a few years to recover.

Name: Rhys Errol

Bio: Rhy is a traveller, his hometown is unknown as he has never stayed for long in a town before. This was mostly due to his mother moving them from town to town, the reason to this day he still does not know. His mother often left him with strangers for periods of time and he has been raised by many people, although Rhys has not seen his temporary carers since his time with them as his mother would return and move him again to another town to be once again left to be raised by strangers. This cycle ended around his 17th birthday when his mother admitted she would not be returning soon and didn't want him to have to wait for her, she gave him the chance to stay where he pleased, travel back to any of his carers or go his own way and travel. Rhys chose to travel.

Abilities: Kovu has the ability to shapeshifte into Lion at will

Personality: Usually seen as a loner, Kovu is alone by choice. Due to issues in his family, he pushes people away and doesn't allow himself to try to get close to anyone. Kovu spends him time in school by himself and generally sticks by a rule of keeping his head down and focus on just getting through his time in education. Even though he maintains a low profile, it doesn't stop him from occasionally using his sharp tongue to mouth off to a few teachers and students. His lack of display of emotions may seem like he is in control and knows what he wants from life but Kovu is lost, feeling unsure of his path, future and himself. However, although he may not know what he wants from life, he knows what he wants in life and can get it with his sly yet charming ways.

History: Unbeknownst to Kovu, he is adopted. He is raised by his mother, who emotionally and sometimes physically abuses him and father, an ex-prisoner who raised Kovu and his sibling despite none of them being his children. Kovu's older siblings Nuka and Vitani are the biological children of Kovu's mother Zira and know he is adopted. Vitani bullys Kovu more than Nuka but both treat him like an outsider in the family. Zira has told her children to hate the people who imprisioned their father and not to trust anyone as they will always turn on them.

Kovu looked at his roommate with bewilderment at his sudden change in attitude. "No idea", Kovu finally said after a few moments of staring at Beast. "This place is huge, I was just going to wander around and hope I find it," Kovu said rubbing the back of his head.

Kovu had no idea if Beast was playing some sort of game or attempting to do something to him but Kovu decided to follow his lead and drop his anger and bitterness...for now. His father had always said to him to never trust anyone, not even those you are close to, they will stab you in the back to get what they want, so you need to make sure you get what you want after they think they've won. He never understood the last part of that but he got the jist of it.

Kovu walked towards the door, opening it he was about to step outside his room but was stopped by an aromatic smell, he took in a deep breath and his nose twitched at its magnificent scent. Food.

@Vec Just to weigh in, even if you or anyone else hasn't seen the film it's basically a film about teenagers that inherit their superpowers and go to a superhero school where they learn to use their powers to be able to go out into the world and become superheroes or sidekicks like most of their parents.

Rhys looked to the bar seat beside him and slowly pulled himself up to sit on it. He watched the barkeep attempting to catch his eye but to no avail. He was tired and very hungry but he had to keep writing in case he missed something important. Pulling out the same sheet of paper from earlier he continued to write. 'Made it to the village of CrossHaven and found a tavern which many people seemed to rush to. There may be something big going on here. Could I be in the middle of something wonderful? Trying to order some food and drink and then will attempt to find lodgings. There are many strange people here, all of them are so different and I hope to make more new friends, if I make it...just a jest...or not' Rhys chuckled to himself, he knew no one else would read these entries so he made funny jokes to himself for when he would read them back later in life. Rhys began to think, what would he do with all these entries, he had over 700 entries each as meaningless as the last. They were everyday things where nothing exciting happened, sure it was fun to write them but would they be fun and full of memories when he read them back. Rhys needed some adventurous events to happen to make it more interesting, to make him more interesting. He was a traveller with a boring life. Last week his was in a lively village and what did he do, spent most of the days sweeping a shop floor, cleaning in a tavern and grooming horses. Sure it was his way of earning money to travel but what if he found a job that was more exciting and actually involved interacting with people or something more meaningful, just something better to write in his entries so he wouldn't feel like he left his old life for nothing.

[/i]Bullying himself, what is talking about[/i], realisation dawned on Kovu No no no, it can't be. I'll take anyone else even that magic guy that was annoying him. Kovu walked back over to the door and hesitantly tried to twist the door handle but it was locked. He could not remember locking it but nevertheless unlocked and opened the door to see Beast standing in front of him. Kovu looked at him wearily when a voice was heard through the intercom. "Students, my dearest apologizes, but if you would check the plaques with your names on them to make sure that you are at the correct room, that would be most helpful. We seem to have a miscommunication with the rooming arrangements. A few of you will be shifted around. Ta-ta!" Kovu pulled the door open more to check the plaque but to his dismay his name was still there along side the carved name of Beast. Kovu walked back over to his bed and zipped open his bag. There was nothing else in there except clothes and other necessities, he didn't really have much else at home. The same voice was heard through the intercom again, this time it was one that wouldn't disappoint him; dinner and the chance to get away from Beast. Kovu thought this might be his chance to possibly make some friend but did he even want them? His family had always said never trust anyone and he didn't, he stayed friendless but felt like now would be the time to try something new, see if his parents were right. If everyone acts the way his roomate did, he didn't have much hope.
