Is the dining hall like a cafeteria where you go through a line and pick stuff up, or is it different?
Aldo stood around awkwardly in the kitchen while the two women went to change both clothes and bodies. He wasn't the kind of person who would try to watch, but he did have to actively try to keep it off of his mind. Taking the hot water off the heat, he was a little irritated by now at the way his mind had wandered. He got out a tray and three mugs, made the hot chocolate and tipped a generous pile of both chocolate chip cookies and oreos.

When he turned around, there was a very pretty woman in the doorway who he assumed was the wolf from earlier. Oh, god. He couldn't do this. Nope, nope, nope. His hands grew just a little clammy and tightened around the tray, and he didn't--couldn't--make eye contact. "M-maybe you could sit down and..h-have some hot chocolate while I dig you up some f-food?" Nice fucking going, idiot. At this rate you'll die even earlier.

Luz gave a friendly half-smile to Amphi and stood, clearly impatient at the conversation. Addressing the mermaid, she said, "If you're not comfortable being alone with me--which I completely understand--I wouldn't mind at all if you wanted to go off and collect things on your own. Just be sure to tell me how to identify them, if it isn't too much trouble." She was obviously very eager to get started learning the tricks of finding good food on this island, and this was shown when she set off at a brisk pace. The truth was that the living things here, mermaids included, fascinated her. In fact, not surprisingly, she thought that all of the mermaids here, despite the injuries and hostility of Leo and the unfortunate mistake of bagging Gwen in a net, were quite beautiful.

But she wasn't going to admit that, yet.
There was only the softest whimper of protest when Aldo felt himself elbowed out of the way, but he dared not complain and simply watched them go. With a glance at the water he'd started to heat up and a split-second decision that another cookie was not yet in order, he followed Sam and Marrec out of the door with a slowness that could suggest either carelessness or the very true fact that Sam Carroway scared the living hell out of him. Keeping his human form, he lowered himself a bit as he approached the Ulfric- that was just good manners.

Silently Aldo joined the crowd of werewolves gathered around the intruder, whose name he hadn't caught. He gazed curiously, looking perhaps slightly less silly without a cookie lodged in his teeth, and wondered what she looked like as a human. But that was no way to think, was it? After all she did look injured, not to mention harmless, so he just put his hands in his pockets and hoped that Markus would continue on his streak of not killing the werewolf who had given him a hilarious quizzical look that was most likely a result of his sweet tooth. He slouched just a little in hopes that he didn't look threatening to any of the werewolves, whether they were of his pack or not.

He watched Acacia guide the newcomer away, and wondered whether to follow. Hell, why not? He had water boiling and cookies. He stretched and went back inside.

Alda startled just slightly at the sound of Estella's voice. She'd been damn lucky the girl hadn't seen her project, because although some people were known for sleeping like rocks, it would certainly look suspicious if her roommate had tried to nudge her awake only to discover that she was completely unresponsive. She shivered just slightly and nodded. She stood up perhaps a little too quickly and responded, "Yeah, let's go. Gotta beat the rush."

And without waiting for Estella she practically speed-walked out of there, looking down at herself- yep, she'd taken her real body this time.
Alda leaned back on the bed and closed her eyes. A few moments later she'd entered a projection, and her "ghost" wandered out through the wall into the hallway. Casually she sauntered through people's rooms, enjoying the fact that she was invisible, eavesdropping on conversations. She turned tail very quickly when she saw Derric, though, because it felt weird to just be watching someone she'd just spoken to and possibly made friends with. Time to go back, now, before things got creepy for her.

She woke quietly from the "nap" and looked at the ceiling.
Whatever inspires you! Good luck!

Alda crossed her arms and looked the girl up and down. She looked...alright. Tolerable, hopefully, and hopefully avoidable as well. She nodded in agreement. "Yes," she agreed. "Pleasure to meet you." She fought to keep the doubt and cynicism out of her voice, for she could tell that Estella was unmistakably from Principle, and she didn't want to deal with being loudly judged for wearing her tops in the wrong style, or doing her makeup 'incorrectly' or something. This was the girl, she remembered, who she'd prayed she wouldn't end up with. Alda found herself wondering who she'd murdered in a past life to deserve this kind of punishment.

She nearly said something sarcastic about Estella's jacket but in the end she decided not to; there was no use making enemies here. "All I want right now is dinner," she said, trying to keep her tone friendly and conversational. She sat on her bed and let out the tiniest of sighs. Her leg was achey from walking up here, and it felt good to take the weight off of it.

"No, thank you. But it was kind of you to offer," replied Alda, picking up her single bag and slinging it around her shoulder. "You go find your room, and maybe we can sit together at dinner, yeah?" She smiled and headed off after the dispersing crowd, pleased to have apparently made a friend. Maybe. Sort of. "Let's hope neither of us are with anyone from Principle," she called over her shoulder before picking up the pace and going inside. Yeah. Let's hope.

After finding a room with her name on it, Alda rushed inside to discover that the room connected to hers was not yet occupied, although she'd caught a glimpse of the name "Estella" written on the door next to hers. That didn't sound good. Hopefully, hopefully it was a nice girl. Alda unpacked her things and tucked them carefully into her drawers, taking a few deep breaths. If it was a bad pairing, she could always just project herself away while pretending to sleep.
