Alda glanced around, having lost some interest in the fighting. For the most part it was the same thing over and over again, and she very dearly wanted to move on, as the most useful information she was gaining, in her opinion, was that Colt was likely a very disturbed, ill, and perhaps sociopathic individual. As for Zeph, she was different. Violent and easily set off, absolutely, but the sense Alda got from her was something more, something that lurked under the surface and wanted to cause harm. Of course, the irritatingly-entitled attitude could be expected of anyone from Principle but something set this girl apart that made Alda very nervous. She watched as the older girl chewed out her partner and then threw a punch at him; her body language had sent mixed signals while her tone practically crackled with rage.

Not wanting to be seen keenly observing the event, she glanced at Derric. "I'm going to pop Nya's shoulder in," she announced in a soft voice before getting up and striding, ignoring the fiery ache that blossomed in her lower leg, over to the girl. Don't kill me, don't kill me, don't kill me. It was with caution that Alda approached the pretty (despite her injuries) Focal girl, as this place seemed to be hiding a good number of serial killer-types. She didn't look like a crazy but then, neither had Colt; better to be careful.

"Alright if I touch you?" she asked. "I don't think I need to add a warning that it will hurt, but just in case: it will hurt."

@Imaginary

Luz had to hold in a laugh when she saw Balon blushing. She would never expect him to admit it, but it was all there. She glanced toward Leo and Amphi and answered, "Well, fish is good protein. I'd be shocked if all they ate was mangoes and clams...and seaweed or something. Bo-ring." She then watched his expression change when asking where Blythe was and announcing that he had some news. Wondering what it could be, she replied.

"I just got back, and I haven't seen him anywhere. He can't possibly miss dinner though so I wouldn't worry too much."
I-I didn't mean me!

[Screams in terror of possible GM wrath.]
Here goes nothing. Aldo suddenly wished that he'd eaten more, but it was too late now, unless he could snatch up a rabbit on patrol. He could feel the change in himself as he watched Sasha shift and leave; he made a bit of a sour face as he did not much enjoy the feeling of his skeleton changing shape or his organs sliding into different positions. After that unpleasant experience, he finally noticed Vashti and felt his ears give a feeble downward twitch. Stupid, stupid crushes. But if he wanted to live, he mgiht as well act on it, right? Talk to her, idiot. Before she notices you looking and gets creeped out.

Carefully the large black canine form stepped toward Vashti. His tail tried to put itself between his legs as if it had its own mind, but he didn't let it. He hadn't quite gotten the hang of the whole telepathy thing, yet, at least when it came to 'sending' messages, but he gave it a try regardless and simply hoped that the mind-speak would work.

Would you want to come with me? I know the land well.

He was thankful for the lack of stuttering that communicating in thoughts gave, and for the fact that it sounded much more confident than Aldo actually felt.

"No fish, not this time." Luz grinned at Balon. "But I hope clams are close enough. It's all seafood." She stirred the boiling water and looked up in surprise when Amphi started to leave and announced that she wouldn't make it to dinner. She'd thought that the mermaid would be joining them, but Luz shrugged off what she perceived as an excuse from Amphi. "Don't get caught in a net!" she called jokingly, and then looked back to Balon. "So, where'd your terrifying girlfriend go?" she teased.
It's been a week since @bravewolfd was online. I think if someone took over their characters for at least just one post, it would be okay.
when just murdering isn't enough...try murder-killing them
