Boots made a short clipping sound that echoed very softly with each step on the smooth hard floor. Of course, soon they would be making no sound at all as Iona took out security guards with the smooth grace of a panther...a bionic panther. Iona had been debating whether or not to break into the booze she'd grabbed from the last heist, and decided to wait until after this one. So instead, as she walked to the bridge, she chewed on a piece of chocolate. It was fancy chocolate, almost as good as the stuff from Morganian.

Oh, how she missed her life there sometimes. The servants who waited on her every desire, the hot boyfriends she could toss anytime she saw someone hotter, the chocolate. Oh, god, the chocolate. It had been a miracle that Iona hadn't been obese at the time of her little accident.

The young woman took her seat, shaking off the longing. This was a better life and she knew it. She had earned her right to be here. She was useful. And she'd gotten to try such a massive variety of sweets that it wasn't worth it to go back to her home planet. She took out the box she'd been carrying, full of chocolate of course, and slid it across the table to Angelo with her metal arm.

"Hello, Captain. I figured that today will be a big one, so the chocolate is for morale," she said after pulling off the mask that covered the lower part of her face. Most of her teeth were a little too white: synthetic; this was obvious whenever she grinned as she was doing now. The originals had been lost in the fire.
I'm excited!
Why not?
"Yeah," muttered Lucille. "Yeah. Nice to meet you, Connor. Sorry about..yeah." She took a couple of deep breaths, and they helped a tiny bit. Still, she'd never missed a dose before and she was terrified of what would happen to her mind if she started missing them today. She was so preoccupied that she didn't notice Christopher approaching them; she jumped violently when he spoke to Connor. He'd been shaking? She hadn't noticed. Lucille huffed in an attempt to breathe deeply. It will be very, very embarrassing if you have a full-on breakdown right here and now, she reminded herself, giving herself an extra incentive to try keeping herself calm.

Her signature stare switched back to focus on Chris. "Why are you talking to one of them?" she whispered in horror.

@Inertia @Athoriel
Name: Iona Glinn

Age: 26

Appearance:

race: Cyborg/human

personality: For an assassin, she can come off as a surprisingly "good" person. Her personal rules are to kill quickly and painlessly, and to leave absolutely no evidence. Torture is something that she wants to make a real statement, and therefore it is reserved solely for her parents and maybe an ex or two if she ever sees them again. With her crew, she is a friendly and open person who laughs easily. She has a stockpile of chocolate and really likes sweets. More than sweets, she likes to get drunk on her spare time. She can be flirty on occasion, but it increases about ten-fold when she's inebriated.

history: When Iona was sixteen, she was a regular and entirely natural human being. She was part of a rich family, and in fact grew up on Morganian. She was beautiful and let everyone know it, but the one thing she didn't enjoy was the fact that she was treated like a trophy or an object rather than a thinking, feeling human being. She was popular, had a few boyfriends, and all around enjoyed her life until her first trip into space. On the way back into the atmosphere, the heat shield failed and Iona bore the brunt of the damage with horrible burns all over her body as well as permanent damage to some of her organs. It is a miracle she survived at all, and in fact suffered cardiac arrest several times while in the hospital after the accident.

The damage to her body was so bad that the doctors replaced much of her body with cybernetic parts. After her recovery, though, her family no longer seemed so keen on showing off Iona. She lost her high social ranking among the other teenagers. No one looked to want to date her anymore. This sudden 'fall from grace' resulted in a lot of emotional suffering, and she turned to a variety of unhealthy coping mechanisms, including vicious pranks, hard drugs, ridiculously-strong alcohol, and theft. She no longer felt like she had a purpose, even after the first time someone paid her to murder a man.

At 18, she started traveling through space in luxury spacecraft, making the most of what remained of her money to enjoy the view. At 21, she was in a craft that was raided by the Tsuki no Kama pirates, and she convinced them that she was useful enough to join.

Role: Assassin

Specialty: Clean, quiet, and quick killing. Very detailed knowledge of anatomy allows her to be both an effective medic and assassin.

Skills: Expert medic and assassin, average engineer.

Other: Bisexual.
Oh I see, thank you. Edited.
Not sure where to post so I'll pop it here and wait to move it until it's accepted.

@Athoriel

The boy was staring back. Lucille narrowed her eyes in suspicion and made her way slowly over to Connor. "Who are you?" she demanded. "Where are my meds?" Somehow, somewhere she knew that he wouldn't know anything about her medication but it seemed necessary to ask anyway. "I really need them. They keep my head clear. I don't want to be like how I was when I was admitted. I need them, they don't understand!" In the course of the rant her heart rate had shot up. "I'm not supposed to miss doses," she whispered.
"Gah!" yelped Lucille at being poked. She whirled to face whoever had done it but there was nothing in visible light, just a large blob of infrared. Wondering if she was hallucinating, she backed away with a trembling lower lip. The missed dosage and the unique situation worked together to create an absolutely apocalyptic scenario in her mind, and before Lucille knew it her breath was coming far too fast.

Her wide panicked eyes fluttered this way and that. Her stare bore into Chris again for a few moments but quickly moved on to Willow. Back to Chris. Back to Willow. Then to Connor, and her eyes stayed on him even as her chest heaved.
I'd be interested.
