Surprisingly enough, the wolf guy was actually a teenage, like her. The onslaught of attacks had rendered him unconscious as well as Star being unable to walk herself. With a sigh, Sunny turned round and got off the roof, walking over to board the jet. She pulled on her seatbelt as she closed her eyes and let her head lay back. The mission was finally over. Then Override began to speak; introducing C.A.I.S.

Her lips pulled up into another smile. Having absolutely no clue what questions she had for C.A.I.S.
Avani re-opened her eyes, catching scent of something unusual. She sharply picked her head up, her ears perked in attentiveness. Then the scent of bird blood filled her nose. She bolted up, feeling her fur spike up as she trotted away from the tree, looking around to find the origin of the scent. She couldn't see anything near her, until a shadow passed over her. Filled with curiosity, Avani looked up, spotting a wolf with wings eating a bird.

Wings. Wolf. Two things that were not supposed to be stuck together. Were these the magical wolves that lusted after dog blood? Oh gods, Old Mich was right! Avani whimpered, sprinting back to the olden oak tree, pressing her body against its' trunk. She just knew she was going to die today.
I'm really okay with any pairing as long as it's cute and fluffy thefeels owo
A child delightfully squealed, a hair brush in her hand as she chased after a rather large, ivory white dog. Another child followed the first, a bunch of colorful ribbons in her hand as she also chased after the canine. Avani easily leaped up on a dinner table and whined, her ears flat on her head as she watched the two human children run after her with their chubby legs. Avani was a well-build dog, with foxish features and with a pair of strong hind legs. She looked down at the two children with dark brown eyes, then to the other adult human who was chatting noisily into a small box. It looked like the male human wouldn't be of much help to her. With a rather annoyed sigh, Avani jumped off the table and sprinted towards the front door, where a dog door flap had been installed. She dashed outside, a laugh floating from her mouth as she heard bangs on the door and disappointed wails.

Avani shook her head, her tail wagging as she easily scaled the six feet fence that outlined the houses' property. She took a detour, heading off towards a forest that wasn't used by humans; a place she had heard from dog rumors round the city. The stories were that it was dangerous; full of magical wolves lusting after dog blood. Avani could only laugh off such rumors; could there really be such a place? As she continued walking, she was met with one of her dog friends, a young Collie.

"Where you heading off to Ava?" she barked.

"No where in particular, Tilly!" she lied back. Tilly playfully growled, butting her head on Avanis' side. "Are you seriously going to go to that forest? You know that it's dangerous-" Avani nipped back, cutting off her Collie friend. "And you do know that Old Mich just likes to play around with us," she amusingly said. Old Mich was a gold retriever, who was 'wise' and had been to places where no city dog had been too. "I just want to go out and run; it's been a while," she truthfully said. Avani had been cooped up at home with the two children, making sure to guard them from any robbers and thieves. She had recently moved there, after her last owner, an old hunter, had peacefully died in his sleep. She missed the days where she was allowed to romp around the forests and hunt for game.

"Relax, I'll be back in a few hours," she happily said; knowing full well that she was quick enough on her feet to get back home in a hour or so. Tilly only muttered incomprehensible words as she watched Avani run off. "I'm going to tell Old Mich on you!" Tilly cried out after her friend. A laugh was Avanis' only reply.

Holy steaks.

It was just gorgeous. The air was fresh and clean, the polar opposite of the city she had just left. Her sharp ears caught the sounds of prey bustling in the forest and the sounds of running water. There were no sounds of human chatter or the sounds of engines. A perfect haven for any animal. So why was there so much fuss about this utopia? Old Mich was crazy - making up some tall tale about this place. She was dying to go back to the city and tell of her dog friends to come out here - if they even had the guts to make the trip. Avani easily trotted in the rocky terrain; moving in quick strides as she traveled deeper into the forest. She only stopped when she came across a stream. Avani sniffled, completely avoiding the body of water as she continued walking.

Being curious about water was one thing. Getting wet was another thing. Avani absolutely hated getting wet and was quite fearful of any running water; preferring to keep clean by licking herself. She only let herself be washed by a human when it was necessary. Her eyes brightened once she spotted a rather large oak tree. She was a sucker for trees; it was just natural for her to embrace plants and anything earthy in general. This was just the perfect place for a much needed nap. With a sigh, she settled herself near the base of the tree, curling herself as she lazily closed her eyes.
Will get up a CS ASAP!

Name: Avani; Goddess of Earth
Age: 28
Powers:
Earth Manipulation: The power to manipulate earth, including sand, stone, rock, lava, dirt, glass, metal, and other minerals.

History: Born in the countryside, Avani was given the power to control the earth by Gaia. She roamed the land of Jeju Island, until she was adopted into a human family and brought back to their home. Ever since then, she has led a fairly normal 'dog' life that consisted with romping around toddlers and such. Knowing full well that her powers were odd, she has refused to use them in the city. However, she does enjoy digging holes; especially to get out of sticky situations that involve hair-combs and ribbons. She is also a registered service dog, helping disabled humans when needed.

Personality: Sweet-natured and intelligent; Avani enjoys helping others. She is persistent; always striving for the truth and leading a respectful, dignified life. She is an extremely loyal dog and has a very easy time getting too attached to an individual. Avani chooses to live with a smile on her face and without fear clouding her judgment.

Cyril Bernard, the captain of The Siren looked down at a pile of papers on his desk with frustration in his eyes. The crew had hit yet another dead end for the search of the Touch of Midas. He silently cursed as he crumpled up a piece of parchment into a ball and threw it across his cabin. The old fortune-teller was no good nor were any of the leads he was able to pick up from land locals and other pirates alike. It was like trying to find a penny in an ocean. Although the chances of ever finding the Touch of Midas was slim; Cyril himself was adamant on continuing the search until the day he died.

It had been surprisingly calm the last few weeks out in sea. It wasn't normal at all; since a pirates' life was spotted with dashing adventures and daring fights. Yet, the tranquility was somewhat soothing to Cyril despite the fact that he lived for such danger. A sigh floated out of his mouth; and he slammed his head against the desk as his eyes closed. The Captain drifted off into a dreamless dream, until the ship jerked him into consciousness.

He stood up, struggling to keep his balance as he flung open his door to be met with an angry storm. His crew scrambled to keep the Siren together as the unrelenting gales and water bashed against her. The sea had finally decided to have her way of breaking the peaceful silence. He grabbed on to a rail, his eyes fixated past the rain and the gray clouds; he would have to find a way out of this, and fast.

"Keep her holding, boys! We'll get through this one," he shouted.
