blank, not even a photo square.

Where is your image hosted?
@David Gorgon Yes, based on your character's profile I would say New Recruit. Also, there was something wrong with the photo you attempted to use. Or it's my computer, it's showing as a blank square for me. Does it show up on your end?
@David Gorgon You'll have to wait to hear from @jakeb1993 as he is the GM and I have not yet been accepted as co-GM but @jakeb1993 I'm totally up for it (and I have prior experience GMing RPs.)

@David GorgonI would say though that you might need to change your alignment, while it works for D&D I believe the purpose was to see if you wanted to be a member of the Guild or of Dark Shadow. And you forgot to add your rank in organization, which for you I would imagine would be Recruit.
@David Gorgon If you have a link to the image
@jakeb1993 Not snobbish at all and since not too much work has gone into him I can easily switch to making a female character.

Gender: Female
Age: 27
Alignment: Guild
Rank within Organization: Leader

Birthmark Shape:

Location of Birthmark: Left bicep, normally covered with clothing.
Magical Abilities: Rose is able to control the elements but has a particular affinity for water. She has become quite adept at making herself invisible, giving many members of the Guild (and others) the impression that she may always be watching or listening. While it is not confirmed to be an ability the illustrious has it is widely believed that she has the ability to read minds, a rumor she has not confirmed or denied.

Place of Birth: Byron Bay, Australia
Currently Residing: New York City, NY
Personality: Rose is very forgiving by nature but does have a bit of a temper if pushed too far. As the leader of the Guild she is very gregarious and charming. It takes people a while to notice that she doesn’t talk about herself, when asked personal questions the conversation is artfully turned back to something else, usually without the other person noticing.
History/Bio:

While born in Australia Rose moved to the United States when she was 12, after her parents died. She moved in with her Aunt who was only 21 at the time, the two have been inseparably close. When Rose turned 18 her Aunt told her the truth about herself and her parents. Her parents had not died in a car accident as she’d been led to believe. No, they were murdered by other magic users who followed the ideology of the Corpus. Rose’s strange attraction to the water and the strange occurrences that happened around her, her Aunt explained was because of her magic. The two had a falling out over the lie, after having been so close for all those years.

Rose moved from the southern part of the United States to New York, hoping to find someone who could teach her about her magic. She joined the Guild and was given her rightful place as Leader, learning that her Aunt had taken over this position when Rose was younger. She is a well-respected leader - often thought of as kind and genuine. She strongly believes in the laws that have been passed to help keep her kind hidden. She believes it is the Guild’s duty to protect the weak, non-magic and magic users alike. She doesn’t want magic users to control the world but she has no problem with the Guild ruling over magic users.

By day, Rose is a high-powered executive of a technology company but she spends a great deal of her time focused on the Guild. It is not unusual for her to take special interest in new recruits, especially those she feels may be teetering on the edge between loyalty to the Guild or the Dark Shadow.

Relationships
Name: Olivia Turner
Relationship: Co-Worker (Rose is her boss)
Characters opinion of them: Rose has seemed to have taken a special interest in Olivia’s career and from time to time her personal life. Rose likes Olivia but is trying to gently dissuade the girl from exposing her kind, without revealing that she herself is a magic user, let alone the most powerful one known to be.

Name: Aloysius Leighton
Relationship: Unknown
Characters opinion of them: Rose understands the feelings that bred the Dark Shadow to be formed but does not agree with it. It is not their methods necessarily that she disagrees with as she has been known to use a strong hand in the Guild but rather their end goal. She has never publicly denounced Aloysius personally, but she has denounced the Dark Shadow, likening them to rebelling teenagers. She is waiting and watching, to see if she can change Aloysius’ mind. If not, she will end his rebellion when it goes too far.

Sounds very intriguing and as my schedule is lightening I believe I shall give this a go. I will get you a CS ASAP.@jakeb1993
@Caras2us All of those sound pretty interesting. Is there a particular one you're leaning towards? I would lean towards the vampire plots or the elven one am willing to do any of the ones you mentioned.
Riley Rodgers

Riley didn’t much care for the mess that was the opening ceremonies, she just wanted her room so she could be on her way. She brushed a stray lock of white blond hair out of her dark green eyes before attempting to find room 3, she would be sharing it with Sarah Finnigan, a fourth year. From what Riley could remember, the girl was always humming. Not that Riley would mind, she enjoyed music herself but was no good at producing it. No, she would stick to tinkering with her automatons.

Once in her room she found her things were already there, it seemed the staff were up to their usual standard of getting things done in a timely manner. She rifled through her things until she found her tools, she picked a desk and started tinkering. She wasn’t much for talking and so always dreaded the start of the year when they were assigned roommates. Everyone wanted to talk…and she was not that interesting. If she tinkered they generally left her to her own devices which was fine by Riley. She also had a tendency to unintentionally intimidate the other girls with her hulking frame. She was harmless – unless you were a bully. But her muscles said otherwise, not that she’d ever gotten into a fight at Saint Hirst but she’d heard the stories some of the other girls had made up about her.
Just going to bump this up because one can never have too many Mass Effect RPs
