The pilot aka starting post is throwing me for a loop right now. But I'm thinking the first post or two is going to be introductions. Giving us time to develop our own story arcs and choose which ones we wanna start with. Also I don't mean to be sporadic just work has me in a bind.
I'm using the Being Human show as the concept yes. But with vastly different characters, its nice to have a wide variety of characters instead of the typical norms. I was gonna go a Dhampir originally but I didn't want this to fade to a twilight spin off ha ha. But I think that's all of us though as far as characters go. I will try to have something up here soon as everyone is finished. But to keep things interesting and not just having my input, how would you guys feel in everyone creating story arc's or plot lines . Having a multitude of directions as our characters get further developed.
Everything looks good to me. I went with a Lamia because I tend to go with the lesser known, a black sheep so to speak. But I like what we have going so far.
I'd be open to it argetla. Sorry if I don't get back to you guys sooner than this in the future work is hectic.
I need one person to be the original two roommates including Julie for the apartment. I'm open to any type of character, given it can keep a human form and is too high and mighty. Baphoment pm me the character I'm sure its totally fine.

Juliette hating her formal name either going by JuJu or Julie. Cringing at the very mention of it, fighting to show her true nature at very mention of it. A torment that her mother makes sure to grind against whenever a visit is in order. Otherwise Julie is very laid back, maybe too much so as she tend to be pretty lazy and a drunk too but in a pinch can be depended on. Though as suggested with her being lazy as such is the nature it extends to a low end job. Though the slacker in her dissipates as soon as her mother comes into the pictures, as the years of strict discipline comes into play. The slacker disappears, the suit appears and everything about her normal self disappears. Though that moment is rare. As it comes to eating and health though it causes issues as typically her race would eat children or eat the hearts of people. Going cold turkey, living off of donors or animals hearts to keep going. Though never at her full strength due to the fact she won't prey on the living. Though having occasionally failed in that aspect having to call the woman she hates to help clean up the mess she's created.
Juliette's name is actually a fluke as her mother is from the old country of Greece but her father seduced and partially knew who she was stealing her away. But it was only a short while before the man was tracked and killed by her very mother. Though while her mother stuck to tradition, honors her lover for nights wish on a name. For what reason though it isn't discussed and if it is brought up its a hands down drag out fight according to Julie. But being taken back, under the wing of her own kind again though a trouble maker at that.
Threw the years in confinement or training as her mother would call it was enough, Julie had escaped the clutches of her mother. And good riddance too, though her instincts were put to the test. Surviving in the real world without aide, but little did she know it was all a ploy. Set loose into the world of humans to grow and find a mate to reproduce, though being the rebellious type like her father before she'd not go the route her preordained for her. Being an only child though is the reason why Julie's mother puts up with her, otherwise the occasional 'accident' wouldn't be cleaned up.
Work didn't seem to agree with her since she'd been always pampered on by the the funding and shell corporations of her mothers vast funds. Getting a simple job down the street to pay for bills and such but requiring something else. As she has a touch of humainity, getting a large apartment and putting an add in the paper. Figuring that other like minded 'people' would come. Some of those retaining or have a love for the mortal humans enough to form well. A support group as sad it sounds to keep their violence up and away from the streets.

Monsters as far as the human public know do not exist, just fairy tails for people to tell their children to scare them or the ancients use to create their stories. In truth though all the monsters people make stories of or just at are as real as day. Just hiding and surviving in the depths of today's society. Just trying to survive the centuries, if they are that old. Some if taking what they need from humans and if it means killing them to survive then so be. It's a dog eat dog world. Some though despite having to have human substance but have chosen alternate ways of obtaining it, others just trying to figure out how to come into their own powers. But all in all just trying to survive the storm without causing too much damage or risk being discovered by society. Some though find that being in collective group help overcome the obstacles of a 'supernatural life.

Bunch of people now. I'm coming up with the OOC in the next hour or two. Well as soon as I can get away from my mothers house. I think that should do it for characters unless we want a few ghosts walking around.
