...Actually, yeah, I can buy that the healing is done with holy magic. Okay. Body manipulation it is, then. Let me go back and change that.
@The One
I'm going to be honest here: I picked healing powers because I honestly have no idea how to justify why Light would be able to do that. Body manipulation would be a fun power to have, but... I also want to heal, and I don't know how I could do that by manipulating Light, so here we are.

Most of the questions I had about the setting were about its tech level, but I can see that's been dealt with, so fair enough. So now let's talk about this Tyrant of yours. I guess my main question is, how long has this Tyrant been ruling? Because I was under the impression the Tyrant was an immortal warlord, and if that's the case... frankly, a no-child policy seems unsustainable. Are they cloning people, or something?
Mister Smiley.
Okay then. I have some questions, but for now, here's what I came up with:

I have a question, before I start building my character. Is this RP set on Earth? And if so, when on Earth? Because I don't think anyone's mentioned that, and it's going to affect my decisions somewhat.
Jane somehow managed to drift across the ravine properly, and was even caught by a sudden updraft coming from the deep chasm below. He swooped higher into the air, somehow maintaining his balance, and then kept going for a considerable distance. Too far, in fact. He drifted through the air slowly, almost lazily, and anyone with eyes could see what was about to happen. Jane kicked his feet semi-randomly, waving his free arm and not even bothering to aim his rocket launcher any more, spluttering a long series of distressed sounds that never quite managed to become words until, eventually, his parachute caught in the branches of a tree several feet above the jungle floor, leaving him stranded.

Jane yelled something that may have shared a common ancestor with English, flailed his arms and legs wildly, and then slowly stopped doing that. After a moment or two, he looked around, then hung his head and let out a low, wordless moan, hanging limply from the tree like a sad, heavily armed piñata.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity
"Uh... yeah." Jane inhaled sharply, closed his eyes and balled his hand into a fist. After a long, long moment, during which time he began to visibly if not audibly count to himself, he slowly exhaled and moved on.

@BrokenPromise
"...Okay. Sure. I... have an SMG. Best I can do for now." Jane quickly voiced a command into the radio, and a few moments later an SMG materialized in front of Junko. "I'll see about getting you something more powerful later.

After a moment, Jane came to the edge of the ravine and looked down. "...Oh, hell. I... don't think I could make that jump, no. Well, maybe if-- actually, no, wait." He spoke into the radio for a moment, and a few moments later two strange items appeared in front of him -- a green parachute with several decals on it and what appeared to be the mutant love-child of a shoulder-mounted RPG and a traffic cone. Jane caught the RPG in one hand and the parachute in the other. The tip of the rocket launcher fell swiftly to the ground, but Jane quickly slung on the parachute. He then picked up the rocket launcher, backed up and took a long, deep breath. "I can do this," he said, more trying to convince himself than the rest of the group. After a long, long moment, he sprinted forward, leapt into the air and fired the rocket launcher at his feet. Against all odds, the rocket launcher propelled him high into the air and across the ravine, swiftly and easily but not nearly swift enough to get him across. At the apex of his jump, Jane reached back and pulled his ripcord, and his parachute deployed, sending him drifting lazily across the ravine. "Oh, thank God. I will be fine!" he shouted over his shoulder."

@ArenaSnow
"The rest of you," he added, waving at the several-stories-high robot with his free hand, "will have to find another way across!"
@Lady Selune
"Well, you might think that'd be hard to find, but--"

@JBRam2002
Jane blinked, stopping in his tracks for a moment. He hesitated, then slowly leaned back and coughed through his nose. "I did, yes. Why don't I... just set you up with one of those and please for the love of God be careful with it."

He took a quick step back, turned around and spoke into his radio for a few moments. An instant later, the requested weapons materialized behind him -- a double-barreled, lever-action shotgun and a clearly cobbled-together flamethrower powered by a propane tank and a pilot light, with a stylized nozzle meant to resemble the head of an angry dragon.
