...Why was Sho looking at her? Oh god, did she have something on her face? Haruka's hands instinctively went up to her face as she turned away. She tried to use the window's reflection to check.
Nnnnnope, nothing on her face. Then why...
She didn't know it, but she'd started blushing slightly as she turned back towards the others.
"Ah... yeah... um. Midnight sounds good. Hm... I guess I can get here at like, 11:50... or so? My parents won't mind," she paused. Her parents definitely would mind. Haruka would make up any excuse, though, and they'd eat it up. No problemo.
"Ah, I guess... that's it? Um..." she stood there, silent for a bit.
"See you later," she finished, before turning away.
She made it down the steps and out of the school building. She'd have to get her... uh... investigation gear before they met up again.

She made it down the steps and out of the school building. She'd have to get her... uh... investigation gear before they met up again.
"Ahah... thanks," Mayumi said to Kyoko.
"Anyway," she continued, turning towards the new girl, "I-"
That's when she heard the Commander's familiar voice in her ear.
"Oh my..." she said, before looking around. She managed to spot Suichi near the back.
"Sorry! I... uh... remembered I was supposed to meet someone. My... uh... boyfriend."
She couldn't help letting a mischievous smirk escape her face, as she waved goodbye and headed over.
Kouhime stood up as the boy finished his explanation.
"Excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom."
Then she put her free phone back on her ear and left.
"Anyway," she continued, turning towards the new girl, "I-"
That's when she heard the Commander's familiar voice in her ear.
"Oh my..." she said, before looking around. She managed to spot Suichi near the back.
"Sorry! I... uh... remembered I was supposed to meet someone. My... uh... boyfriend."
She couldn't help letting a mischievous smirk escape her face, as she waved goodbye and headed over.

Haruka wasn't listening. She hadn't been listening the entire time. After she'd greeted the two boys, she'd turned her attention back onto the school building.
She'd been already playing out in her head about what those two phenomena she'd seen in the windows were.
Maybe the shadowy figure was the ghost of a girl, spurned by her lover, who tripped down the stairs and died. Maybe there was a freak painting accident. That would explain the splatter. Heh.
She was coming up with more and more outlandish scenarios, quietly chuckling all the while, until she has brought back to reality by Suzume holding her hand.
"Eh...? Oh... right. Uh... yeah," she said, barely following along in the conversation.
"When should we get there? No one ever says anything about the time, huh. It's always 'at night' but does that mean after the sun goes down or... what?"

"Eh? Hey, you're Suzume-chan, right? Uhm..." where did she know her from? She recognized her, and put the name to her face, but why...
"Ah... right. We were in the same classroom last year. Hello," she said, waving to the girl in front of her.
She turned back towards the old building.
"It must be one of the Seven Mysteries of Shin'youju. Or maybe it's all the Seven Mysteries. You know, they must all be hiding in that building, those mysteries."
Haruka yawned again. Eh? Haruka wasn't sleepy. Nope. It was a... boredom yawn. Yeah that was it.
She was kind of bored right now.
"I'm kind of bored right now. Say, Suzume-chan, do you want to see what's going on in the old school building? We can come back at night, because the barricade opens up then... ehh... ah, not that I would know. That's just what I've heard."
Haruka turned when she heard someone else calling from behind them.
"Ah... Sho. Toby. Hello."

You can, but I really, really don't recommend it, because it's bad practice. If you want, we can discuss the best course of action over PM.
