"Suzume-chan, it's okay! It's..." Haruka said, but she was drowned out by Suzume's screaming.

They wouldn't get very far like this. She looked back toward the... thing... on the platform. It had, sometime during the commotion, turned towards them, but it remained unmoving.

"Sho, Toby, it's... it's no good. We shouldn't keep going, otherwise... I don't know what's going to happen to Suzume. We should... we should get out of here and... and maybe... try another room."

God, that incessant screaming. Haruka couldn't stand to see Suzume like this.

"Suzume-chan, it's okay. We'll... we'll leave now. We don't have to stay..." she said, trying to snap her friend out of it.

She grabbed Suzume's arms and attempted to guide her back through the door.
Saturday, April 11th, 12:13AM - Gallery Lobby

Creeeeeeeeak...

Did you hear that? Something creaked. Something in the lobby. But... what could have done something like that? There was nothing in the room like that, right?

Surely... it couldn't have come from one of the paintings... right?
"It's okay, Suzume... Suzume-chan..." Haruka said.

She saw Suzume hold her hand out. She briefly considered it; she wanted to comfort her only friend, but...

Haruka's smile wavered, but only briefly.

"I'm... we're here for you. Me, Toby, Sh-... Sho. It'll be just fine."

For some reason, Haruka wasn't even completely convinced of her own words. But she had to be strong... she had to if no one else could.

She walked in front the others, gripping the door handle and slowly, gingerly opened it again. She took a deep breath, before stepping into the room. Just like Sho, her foot sunk into the floor slightly, but she couldn't be deterred. She had to be brave. She had to.

Haruka only noticed the... thing... on the platform after she'd planted both feet in the room. It looked vaguely humanoid, but it was incredibly tall. It also looked rooted to the floor.

"Hello?" she called out.

Because why not.
Oops, totally forgot:

Sugimoto Gang drew that wonderful picture I used for 1-1.
But hey, expectations can be wrong, you know.

Immediately the faint smell of paint made itself known, as the door opened to what looked to be the lobby of a gallery. The room was bathed in a warm homely light, but the room itself was old and dusty and covered with splotches of paint.

The walls of the room showcased three large paintings. One showed a mannequin hanging from a noose; another showed a scene of a street, with rain falling and creating puddles of red; the last one showed a wilting purple rose, surrounded by green numbers.

There were two hallways leading from the lobby: one was opposite the entrance and showed stairs leading upwards, while the other was off to the left side.

A PA speaker sit at the top corner, looking like it hadn't been used in a while, but when the door opened it immediately crackled to life.

"Ah, visitors?" the voice inquired. It sounded like a teenage girl.

"Oh, goody! Welcome to the gallery! I hope you find something here that tickles your fancy. I've poured my heart and soul into making these pieces and I think the effort really shows. I am regrettably tied up in making another masterpiece, but I hope you are entranced by the quality of my works. Ah... make sure you don't touch anything, though. If you mess something up, I'll get angry, okay? Toodles!"

And then, silence.
What is real life
Alright, so I'm going to start enforcing activity from here on out. It hasn't been a problem so far because most people having been posting frequently enough that this hasn't been an issue.

The activity deadline, starting now is seven days. If I see someone's last post was made "a week ago" they'll be gone, and I don't feel like handing out pleasant deaths.

For posterity's sake, here are the activity standings so far:

CondorTalon - 6 hours
Summer - 2 days
Nine Judgments - 2 days
Alyss Dolyss - 2 days
Gabriel Evings - 2 days
Phobia - 4 days
dmboogie - 2 days
backslash - 2 days

Ink-berry - 4 days
Shanghai - 2 days
Deamon - 3 hours

I will start handing out warnings once your last post reaches four days old, which means:
Phobia

need to post within the next three days or they will lose their characters.
Haruka shook her head at their words.

"No... it wasn't your fault. It wasn't."

She thought she had calmed down, but the sight of the room beyond them, and seeing Sho again, somehow...

No wait, the room beyond them. That was the more important thing right now.

"Is this... what that message was talking about? We need to-"

She noticed Suzume staring at the door. She was rambling about something, and asking them if she could see it.

"See what? Suzume, what did you see?" she asked, putting her hands on Suzume's shoulders.

Whatever it was, Haruka hadn't seen it.
"Geh."

Mayumi slunk back as the creepy dudes decided to hit on her. She looked around, noticing the crowd starting to disperse around them.

That was confusing, but her attention was drawn by Suichi towards a young girl with a yellow coat, being harrassed by an older man. It looked like they had found the girl they were looking for, but considering they were pre-occupied with this situation right now there wasn't much they could do. She smiled at Suichi; it made her feel happy that he was willing to protect her... but she had no idea what to do now.

Looking back to the girl she saw Kyoko and another girl were coming to the Spirit's rescue. That would either buy them some time or shorten it very quickly.
There was nothing Kouhime hated more than creeps that thought they could do whatever they wanted to girls.

She'd left for just one second and already things had gone south, with the concert abruptly ending and bad situations popping up everywhere. It wasthe group of delinquents that caught her attention, though. Mostly because they were hitting on that girl, but also because the boy with her was the same boy from before.

She gripped the soccer ball she'd held in her hands. She didn't have much of a throwing arm, but she did have the ability to send pressure waves through an object. She'd learned over the course of using her powers that she could use that power to compensate and turn her normally weak throws into terrifying pitches.

She threw the ball, aiming for the leader's head.

That would, hopefully, draw the gang's attention, at which point she'd lead them to that place.

As for where she found a soccer ball, well...

A few seconds earlier...

"Hey, boy. Onee-chan's going to borrow this ball for a bit, okay?" she said to the little boy on the street.

"Ehh? Why?" the boy whined in response.

"I want to bean some guy in the head with it."

"Oh... okay!" the boy replied, happily handing her the ball.

Kouhime feared for today's youth.
There's a message on the wall of Room 1-1.

Please do not touch the exhibits. Failure to comply will result in the removal of offending patrons from the premises. And death.
