So I've been playing Fallout lately and was thinking of an RP set on a colonised Mars, with an element of dramatic mystery (why is everyone dead???) plus a whole lot of highly powerful space technology. A terrible situation and little survivors.

I'm open to questions, since I doubt it'd get much attention.

Also, gore.
Well, I've always liked fantasy, I'm up for it.

How would the worldbuilding be carried out, exactly? I doubt it'd be very natural or organic to dump 6210 paragraphs of exposition about the real name of the Dwarves.

A sweat-soaked lock of hair pulled at Daniel's skin, his head jolting as the car came to a sudden stop. Now stationary with a back facing the storm of metal, he dragged himself and his gun out the seat as fast as possible, gasping for air. Something exploded not far away, grains of debris found its way onto his face among the hot smell of fighting.

"Kurwa, Vadim," he hissed, snapping his head back to the car. A cold feeling surrounded his body. Daniel breathed, hard.

Then he retreated towards the building the wall belonged to, forcing a door open with a boot. Refusing to move any further, the mechanic held a door and watched for his driver, fear dripping from his skin.
@AlShayatin @Xandrya

Hope I'm not interrupting anything romantic...
"Shit!" Daniel hissed, clutching his rifle as his eyes flitted across the surrounding area, one hand on the dashboard. His heavy uniform creased in the vibration of the moving car, making a warmth in his stomach greatly uncomfortable.

The wash of panic and the crack of a weapon. Two familiar sensations.

Of course, the familiarity snapped him away from panic and into an important question.
"Bo, casualties?"
Shit, sorry- I was waiting for someone else to post since I had a turn. Plus work.

I'll post Saturday night if nobody else does, really sorry about not posting.
I'll post if I'm not working, definitely. Otherwise I'll just try and do something after work.
I should have kept up with this a lot more, oh dear.

In any case, I probably know very little about Vietnam- my relatives are European and therefore were more involved in avoiding communist secret police, and even the compulsory service didn't send them off to any theaters. I'll do some research for the RP, definitely.

I am trying to do a running gag, don't you see?

*sigh*

But sereously, I hadn't noticed my mistake in the first post up until now...
Not just that, I have no idea as to why did I write Patch instead of Low, this one has got to get fixed ASAP.

It's chill man, no worries.
The airspace created little thought in Daniel- they were probably covering something other than a group of specific, secret operatives. What caught his attention was the apparent combat beginning to come into earshot, his experience with such sounds keeping him wary.

Despite this, he remained still for the duration of their journey, holding onto the rifle sat between his legs as they passed the wonderful sights of the city. He noted the closeness of the AO to a river. The fighting was likely over a strategic position.
Daniel made no comment, as a job for him was now present, according to the radio talk.

"Well, if the Lord is a CIA agent, then he bloody better know what we'll run into," he responded to Vadim's worries. He remembered working with intelligence services back in the Middle East.
"Cholerne wojny."
