Burning the FlameCharacter A and Character B have been friends since childhood. They grew up in the same run down, old fashioned town, they have did everything together. There has always been a lingering feeling of it eventually turning into something more but, they were both to afraid to let it progress. Suddenly, Character B leaves without telling Character A. Four years have passed and Character A is still in that same old town, when a string of rampant murders hit their peaceful hometown. Character B returns in the midst of all the chaos.
This plot can be both supernatural or modern mystery.
Counting the Minutes. There is a timer on everyone's wrist that counts down the time it will take until they meet their soul mate. Its something that people are born with. Its to the point where some people form groups to meet up with people who's countdowns are around the same time, some people become so obsessed with their countdowns that casual dating is almost nonexistent. But the times on their counters can change depending on how close to they are to meeting their
person. Only giving people minutes until you are about to make contact with them. Character A doesn't care about the countdown- in fact they feel like its a waste of time and pointless. (Maybe they have some jaded past relationship that was ruined by the other person finding their soulmate?) Everything changes until Character A is walking home late one night and notices their counter has suddenly dwindled down to just seconds as Character B smashes into them too busy staring at their own counter.
I imagine this is a moderin-ish setting,
See You AgainWerewolfxHuman
Character A was never one that fit in when the were younger for whatever reason (weight, appearance, interests, family issues.) Character B was their childhood bully. Character A moved away during middle school. They meet up at a college party and Character B realizes that Character A is their mate.
Divine By Nature Character A has had some type of either emotional/physical trauma happen to them. (or some other misc. situation. Perhaps they have had always been able to see things/ lost it and regained the ability?) As a result they are now able to see Character B. Character B could be a ghost or a creation of A's psyche. The relationship progresses as the two develop and grow.
I already have a psychic/medium character prepared for this one.
Noble DutiesCharacter A is the only daughter in her kingdom, beloved amongst her people but is set to be married to a neighboring kingdom's Prince to help end the war. This one can go one or two ways, Character B can be either the Knight that accompanies her to the next kingdom who is in love with character A. Or it can be the Prince that Character A is engaged to.
