@Aisling After five minutes, the alarm went off. "That shall be enough for the beginning," the father said.
@Aisling "Okay." The father took a pillow for himself and Mystique. "The two of us are going to sit on the ground. Fiona? Toma? You should sit as straight as you can, so that you can breathe properly. We all look down and have our eyes halfway open."
The father sat down in a Lotus position. "We'll start with five minutes and will add another five every week. So, next week, it'll be ten minutes, then fifteen, and so on. We'll do this until we reach two hours. During those five minutes, we'll concentrate on our breath. If thoughts and emotions come in, let them come, but remember that both are nothing but a product of our brains. That makes them powerless." He took out his mobile. "I'll set a timer. Until the alarm goes off, we won't speak or change position."
The father set the timer. "Let's begin."
@Aisling "I'd like to give it a try," Toma answered.

The father looked at his watch. "It is 6pm now. If you want to, we can start right away."
@Aisling "Here. 12am and 6pm should be good," the father answered.
@Aisling "Meditation is teaching you patience and concentration," the father said. "Yes, I'll help you with that."
@Aisling "I've got some night blooming flowers, as well as day blooming ones," Vladislaus explained. "But the flowers and candles aren't there to make it look beautiful. The flowers stand for transitoriness, and the candles stand for all the beautiful things in the world, which you give to Buddha. - If a Buddha has been put up correctly, he's facing the east, but the sun never shines in his eyes, in order not to blind him. He always has a wall or something else to support his back behind him, and he's been put on an elevated place, like a table. This is because the Buddha is supposed to be an idol that you look up to. And you should avoid touching and moving him if it isn't necessary."
@Aisling Again, Ioan led the way.

Vladislaus's conservatory was a beautiful place: Three out of four walls were made out of glass. Only the wall in the east was a stone wall.

Inside the conservatory, there was a Buddha statue that was lit solely by the candles next to it. In front of the statue, bowls with food and water were standing. Plants were left of it.

Vladislaus was brushing some dust off of his Buddha.
"Hey, Vladislaus," Ioan said. "I just wanted to show your conservatory to Mystique and Fiona. Hope we aren't disturbing you?"
The father smiled. "You aren't disturbing at all. I'm just cleaning the Buddha."
@Aisling "Okay." Ioan paid for the butterbeers and then, he teleported everyone back to the castle.

At the castle, they got back into their wheelchairs. "We can go now," Ioan said.
@Aisling "I'm sure we can do that," Ioan said via telepathy. "And Vladislaus wouldn't mind it if we visited it when we return to the castle. It is the most beautiful when it is dark outside."
@Aisling "We don't know what was in the beginning. And the first modern human appeared around 200,000 years ago," Ioan answered.
