Mars Detachment

TIA is an broad, multi-department spanning organization. The formation and history of TIA has been around almost as long if not as long as the Terran Government itself has. The roles of the agency vary as it is an Jack of all trades, taking in specialists from all branches of the military; and even civilians. Namely its most useful tool is information, and ground informants are as valuable as ever in an ever changing Solar system. 

The Mars Detachment, code named Loki is based at the Terran Embassy in Elysium. It is an recent and rushed ordeal at best due to recent turmoil, and Terran interest in keeping Mars stable. Its primary parameter is Counter Terrorism. It is to support the Martian government in its current struggle in any capacity possible, within the bounds and directives of the Terran Government's interests of course.

Only the higher up officials in Martian bureaucracy, and some Martian military officers know of Loki's existence in an need to know capacity.

Important Personnel

Affiliation: United Terran Govenrment
Appearance: Young, attractive. Germanic Caucasian 5'9, black hair, and blue eyes. Mostly seen in Asian styled attire, an blend of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean styles.
Notoriety: Commonly known to anyone who pays attention to MAN, or Mars politics in general. Has had an few previous postings on Earth.

Current Location/Mission/Objective: Mars, Elysium embassy; to maintain relations with Mars Government, and support Terran interests.

Affiliation: TIA
Appearance: Mid to late 50's, wizened. Balding with hair at the sides, and an goatee. Pock marked cheeks most likely an old severe case of acne. Americano Caucasian 5'0, black-grey hair, and brown eyes. Attired in mostly formal and discrete clothing, black under tones, brown, grey; and even dark navy blue overtones.
Notoriety: Outside the agency, and security clearance required to know. He is an nobody. But with security clearance, or being a part of TIA. Most people know his name not to mention his previous exploits. He is an veteran in counter espionage, and counter terrorism. Handily defeating rebel groups and spy cells on Earth; and other locations in the Solar System.

Current Location/Mission/Objective: Management of TIA detachment Loki, and successful completion of mission objectives both short term, and long term on Mars.

Appearance: Mid 20's, confident. Brown hair, 6'1, hazel eyes. African-Caucasian. Wears mostly white Undershirts, and black dress pants with an tie.
Notoriety: To anyone who has heard the scuttle butt, Tom is Garibaldi's pupil; successor even.
Background: WIP
Current Location/Mission/Objective: Management, utilization, and even further infiltration of ground informants immediately in the Elysium area.

Affiliation: Terran Specialist Command, presently TIA detachment Loki.
Appearance: Early 30's, Japanese Asian. 5'6, buzz cut black hair, brown eyes. Off duty, found in casual Americano clothing, almost always blue jeans. And an variety of T-shirts depicting his favorite Digital games. On duty with or without equipment, grey class B's. If on a mission, camo and equipment will depend on the environment.
Notoriety: Known amongst his compatriots for being an odd ball, usually referred to as Odd ball 8. His records show exemplary work ethic, professionalism, and dedication to achieving the ends. He is known for his extravagant  vacations, half of the time consisting of avid gaming with civilian friends; and when he can manage it gregarious outings at the local bars.

Current Location/Mission/Objective: Assigned to TIA detachment Loki for special operations and security.

Detachment Loki Assets

Informants cover an wide range people who provide services to TIA. From trained undercover agents, to paid informers, or even black mailed victims.

Consultants are paid specialists, whether military, or civilian in nature. They host a wide variety of uses, from on call doctors; to digital hackers. Consultants fill in the gaps of any given operation.

Support staff are the sinew that holds any TIA operation together. The personnel consist of previously United Terran Govenrment workers. With an wide array of responsibilities such as, communications, monetary management, translators; and more.

Informant handlers with covert training, and basic self defense experience. They keep a leash on the people under their protection. Look out for them, and call for ex-fill when it gets too hot. They report directly to the Operations Director.

An urban oriented task force. Infiltrators blend in with the area, get in, get out. They are lightly armed shock troops meant to obtain or kill targets. Rescue VIP's, and even act as body guards. The manpower behind the unit consists of law force veterans, military, and even mercenary contractors.

An special operations unit that deals with land, sea, and air scenarios. Years of training, and honed in skills from several sorties, raids, and infiltrations on Earth have made this unit the best at what it does. Armed and familiarized with an variety of equipment they are the swiss army knife for planetside engagement.

(I've barely had time to work on this as it is and mind you I've been staying up past 2AM, trying to finish this thing. But this is what I got done from yesterday too today. Maybe I think too much about how I construct these sheets, but dammit they always come out nice this way. 

Anyways aside from that the Ambassador, and Embassy are included in the sheet since they do house Loki. This means they will be a part of the RP but for the most part will remain independent from Loki in its actions. Cheers! Can't wait to get this party started!)
