Magic had slowly started appearing around the 1690's. Magic users around the world kept mostly to themselves, travelling around the world as they picked up orphans who had potential. After years of protest and war, magic had been fully recognized as 'natural' in the U.S at year 20XX. Firearms and other modern weapons were useless against magic. Soon enough, the government and military were burned to ashes. Now, magic users have taken over the U.S.A as well as many other countries. In 20XX, the rate of children being born with magic spiked. Schools and a new military were being built by the masses to nurture and control magic. And in a matter of years, what used to be called witchcraft was now considered a characteristic of a human.
New York, year 20XX. The Campione's and the Addario's are the two biggest mafia crime families. For years, the two families have been fighting each other for territory and clients. For this roleplay, you can choose to be in either family or as part of the New York Police Department.

Has everybody passed their forms?" The teacher asked. Once the students murmured a yes, she stood up and looked at the class. "Okay then, I will announce your seatmates. Go and sit with them after your names are mentioned." She instructed. Ms. Yoshioka grabbed the list of seatmates from her desk and read it aloud, "Harumi Yukimura and Alois Francis Jeon.. Mina Ko and Alyssa Summers.. Alexander Gildone and Iris Zero.. Tyler Lance and Maiko Nozomi."
"Hello there. Its nice to meet you, Alyssa," the girl next to her said. Mina grinned, shaking back. Wow, talk about coincidences. Mina was definitely sure she would be able to get along with her. Come to think of it, wasn't Alyssa part of that group from earlier? Mina mentally scolded herself, she should have introduced herself earlier to that group. Mina stopped shaking Alyssa's hand. "Ditto! Let's get along," she answered back. "So, what clubs did you sign up for?" she asked.
