Floor 50

The faint clicking sounds from kitty-heels was heard when a slight figure dashed towards the war meeting for the fiftieth floor. She was late. Faeron had made the mistake to go out for a last-minute training session, only to lose track of the time. "Excuse me!" she whispered as she slid her way to the front lines. Of course, the two leaders were arguing over some petty topic and the others looked absolutely uninterested. She stood next to Raven, setting her spear down as she glanced around the room.

Her affable nature made it easy for her to bond with other people. Yet, over the past few months, Faeron started to notice familiar faces disappear, which only drove her to train even harder. At times, she would wonder where the "key" player was, and if they were willing to sacrifice their life for the greater good. It would be easier that way - to not go through another 50 floors of death. However, she kept that opinion to herself, refusing to let her friends think wrongly of her.

Faeron was significantly stronger and prided herself to be an expert sear wielder, but she chose to stay humble about it. There was certainly enough people that could kick her butt, like Cash, Raven, or Ryan...Her equipment was the same silver light plate and she still wore the same lavender cloak. Her spear was now longer and heavier from her first one, a dark grey color with a larger blade on the top and a smaller matching one on the bottom.

As the events unfolded in front of her, a flash of relief crossed Faeron's face. The tension had seemed to wane off, especially when Ryan had started to... warm up to Bachus? She looked up at the rafters, flashing Cash a huge grin and a silent "thank you" before turning her attention to the matters at hand. She then proceeded to go to the guild leaders (who were now centimeters away from ripping each others throats out) and politely asked them if they had plan. However, Faeron was...ignored, similar to the previous meetings. She stepped back before looking back at Ryan, throwing up her hands in annoyance.

"Somebody knock some sense into 'em," she exasperatedly asked before walking back to stand next to Raven.
Thanks for the updates Takaru!

Waitin' fo Sheikarah to reply. ^_^
Jay Ahn, Squad 18.

"Sure!"

Jay grinned as he urged his horse to start a fast pace, glancing behind him to see Mika close behind. He was somewhat proud to know that he was the one leading...but he couldn't let that get in his head! He would hate to see his new-found team dissolve because of some petty argument. The other member, Peter, had been deathly silent the whole time. Jay just shrugged it away - the boy would talk when he wanted too.

Noelle Ahn, Squad 19

"Alright," she said, nodding to Thomas before glancing at the impatient Jean-Paul. "Yeah, let's go." Noelle took Thomas's advice, softly tapping on her mounts side to get the horse to move at a fairly reasonable pace down the road. She casually glanced around before striking up a conversation. "So, what districts are you guys from...?"
Noelle Ahn - Squad 19

She grabbed the nearest horse, leading the beast out to where Thomas and Jean-Paul were. Noelle grabbed the map, pulling it open to see an incredibly crude map of their training course. "Well," she began, faint annoyance laced in her voice. "Just lovely. Shall we just go in order?" she asked as she mounted to white stallion.

Jay Ahn - Squad 18

What-was-his-name again looked extremely bored as he approached Jay and the other girl. Jay quickly ignored the quiet one, turning to Mika as he nodded, a surprised grin spreading on his face. "Yeah! I'm Noelle's big bro," he confirmed, grinning before grabbing a horse. He checked inside the bags before taking out the map. He inspected once before stuffing it back in, shrugging before mounting the black mare. "Yeah, okay, let go get some flags!" he cheerfully said before speeding away.

Seulki honestly had no idea what she was doing here - surrounded by a dragon, two dragonelles, and a little drake. There was talk about heading north, to where the other dragons were heading. Although she would have liked to leave now to catch up with other Wimbornes, Seulki was quite attached to Feneya. Plus, having someone else catch her meals was nice. Thus, the young dragonelle decided to stay with this rag-tag group. As the others continued on, she curled inwards, watching the stony ground with much interest until the others began to move.

She watched Feneya gingerly open her wings before flying out. Seulki couldn't imagine being hurt like that. The thought of pain ripping through her body terrified her. Yet, the Aramoor dragonelle didn't utter a single complaint about her injury. Going ahead of the others, Seulki hurtled herself off the cliff as she let out a single squeak of joy. Before she hit the ground, her strong wings snapped open to take flight. Her mood considerably lighter, the Wimborne flew next to Feneya, glancing at the older dragonelle before a look of worry crossed her face. Feneya had a look of anger on her face - an expression that chilled Seulki.

"Are you alright?" she gently asked.
Jay Ahn [ Squad 18]

Peter Sakes was the only name Jay recognized in his squad. Peter also lived in the same district as him, except Jay had never talked to the other since the two surprisingly never crossed path. Well, he had Noelle to thank for that ever since he got into a rather nasty fight with a couple of town bullies. ON the other hand, Mika Smyth was a complete stranger. Jay listened to his beloved instructor bark out a few more names before grabbing the given equipment. Once he doubled checked everything, he headed back to grab a few more things.

He went back to the barracks and grabbed his bag as he stuffed a sleeping bag, a small knife, and a canteen into it. Jay then fastened on his 3DMG, fumbling a bit here and there (he blamed his nervousness!) before walking out to meet his other squad members. As he approached the stables, he spotted a girl already there.

“Hi there,” he brightly greeted. “Are you Mika?”
Noelle Ahn [Squad 19]

Unfortunately, Noelle was not familiar with the names in her squad. Her eyes lifted to the sky before closing them, taking a few shallow breaths. Wonderful, it was time to make some new friends. She had honestly hoped she would be in the same squad as Mika, but her brother already took that spot. Actually, she would have preferred to be in the same squad as Jay, just so she could make sure he wasn't making any…reckless decisions.

Should she warn Mika about her brother’s…erratic thinking? Well, Mika would figure it out soon enough. A sigh escaped her lips as she grabbed the given equipment before wandering into the barracks. She quickly equipped her 3DMG after packing a sleeping bag with a small journal and a pencil tucked into it. It would be nice if she sent a letter to her father after this training exercise. If only Jay would just sit down for a few minutes and write.

She walked back out of the barracks, her head in the clouds as she headed towards the stables. It was around 8:58 AM when Noelle reached the designated location. There was already a growing crowd around the building, leaving the girl hopelessly lost. She didn’t know what her squad members looked like… So she just went up to random people, poking them to get their attention.

“Thomas Erhart? Jean-Paul Martin?”
