You are destined to do great things, Joeda” ~ Makru to a ten year old Joeda after a lesson on military tactics.[/box]
IC link
Welcome everyone; I am Zein with a new RP. This RP will be about the Ragon Warmaster at the time of the Gaian-Ragon War-Joeda and his adventures before and during the seven year long war. We will play as the important people to Joeda (not loved ones as Joeda is rather impersonal when conducting business and even out of business). His commanders and such that are under his command that were handpicked by him. Now I will let you make up what your characters were in/doing before the RP, to keep this interactive and I don’t feel like thinking up of wars and incidents right now my brain is fried after this and worldbuilding.
Most of the characters (Besides the Freedmen) are famous for something, which is why they were handpicked to be Joeda’s posse. Your characters will feel regret for something, probably secretly, hence the ships name-The Redeemer-along with Joeda and other characters, your character will try to find redemption, even if it means dying.
Also, you can create your character however you like, these are just your characters roles.
Remember to have fun!

The Setting
The Gaiaverse is a Sci-Fi/Space Opera galaxy, were sword fighting, duels and such are still around. The Galaxy is called the Averiu Galaxy and is spiral.
The Ragon-The Ragon are a warrior race hailing form Bellum (Latin for war, foreshadowing), they were united by Illgoth (Who they treat as a god and savior, but he is died) who began going on conquest to make the Ragon the superpower of the galaxy (A title they still hold)
The Gaians-The Gaians are your everyday humans, haven't been discovered by the Ragon yet but when they are a war will start. This war will last for seven years and end in a stalemate.

Character Templates
These are the character templates you can use. Before starting on your app, check to see if the template you wish to use hasn’t been claimed yet!
[floatleft]
-Me-The Warmaster of the Ragon military, meaning he is in charge of all military operations. Joeda is considered one of the best swordfighters and strategist in the galaxy if not the best. Joeda is born to do great things but he has one fatal flaw. His inner demon. No not a literal demon but a figurative one, his inner demon is his anger, regret, being unstable, frustration. The only thing holding him to together his Makru voice/ghost in his conscious, without this he would probably kill everyone and thing in the same room as him in a fit of rage.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
You are the captain of Joeda's flagship, a Battleship named The Redeemer. The Redeemer and its sister ships are one of the most powerful ships in the galaxy (Until the Zeus Class came) able to best any ship in combat and hold its own against multiple enemies at the same time. You are not Joeda's second-in-command but his naval officer. You have probably graduated at the top of your class and are famous for something.
Equipment: One pistol with one straight batteries (700 shots).
[/floatleft][floatleft]
You are Joeda's personal pilot and the leader of The Horsemen, Joeda's personal elite fighter squadron when he isn't flying with them. You are a rare sight, a good Ragon pilot, and are trusted to be Joeda's shuttle pilot and wingman, keeping him safe from enemy fighters. Joeda considered you a more skilled pilot, and you have many, many kills and targets destroyed.
Equipment: One pistol and two straight batteries, survival kit.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
You are a member of Imperial Intelligence, making you Joeda's main source of information, both on his enemies and allies. As his personal spy, you are responsible for giving accurate information, or Joeda will strangle you with his bare hands.
Equipment- One laser pistol, six straight batteries, one charger and sleeping gas.
The Infiltrator-You are a member of the Tempas Maks, the highest level of Juskar (Special Forces). You command a team of five fellow Tempas’s (Called Blacks and Yellow’s due to their black armor with yellow stripes armor) assigned to Joeda as both his bodyguard along the Commissar, but his spearhead, you will be inserted into enemy territory to sabotage, assassinate or capture the enemy leaders and supplies, maybe even their morale.
Equipment: One Laser Carbine with five straight batteries (700 shots per battery), one garrote and one knife.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
"I swear to smite the enemies of the empire, inspire her soldiers, and execute ones who dare to betray her" ~ The Ragon commissar creed.
You are a member of the Imperial Political Division as a commissar, a fancy name for a political officer. The commissar is a hard job, tasked with the disruption of rations, trial of traitors and cowards (While acting as the judge and jury), inspiring the soldiers of Illgoth, telling them that the Goths truly do care about their sacrifice (They don't), military discipline, religious duties for the soldiers (Chaplin), and defying the enemy of the empire. Commissars never retire, always serving the empire and her children no matter age, a commissar is normally recruited at a young age, normally six or seven but sometimes five and below and indoctrinated to preach in Illgoths name with their trained voices. The commissars though political officers, also act as squad and platoon leaders sometimes, overruling the sergeant and lieutenant for the Commissar is an embodiment of Illgoths voice. Your duty as commissar will be hard and taxing, but you must not weaver, as you are Illgoths voice.
Another duty of yours is to be the bodyguard of Joeda both on and off the field of battle.
[b]Equipment choices.:/b]

You are a part of the Sons of Illgoth sanctuary the best of the best. A few important things, you probably stand at seven feet tall or more, you wear blue armor with a red helmet and a baby being cradled by Illgoth is your symbol on your pauldron’s. Like Joeda you are a killing machine, a soldier breed for one task-war-you have no other purpose besides defeating the enemies of the empire.
Juggernaut equipment choices:

Enemies and important information
This is where you will find everything about our enemies, and other important information.

Enemies.
[floatleft]
The Yisuta are space samurai bears in power armor, to be blunt. They are large, standing at six feet or more but are a peaceful people, well at least most of the clans are. Some clans are warlike and brutal as each clan as its own foreign policy and military doctrine. The Yisuta are great warriors, easily able to match a well-trained Ragon soldier with their elite units (Ronin) being able to match a Charon. The Yisuta have an interesting tradition of when faced with certain death, they shave themselves, mostly just the head but some take it further.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
The Neigh are semi-sentient bugs basically, able to climb walls and kill entire squads if the soldiers are not careful. The Neigh are large, about the size of a great dane but are fast for their size, easily able to overwhelm an unprepared squad. These guys often appear every now and again out of their hives, which are destroyed via flamethrower and chemical weapons.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
The Asuans are a green-skinned people who live in tribes that control planets in various numbers. The Asuans are not a single nation, but instead a bunch of mercenaries, pirates or semi-functional nations. They often go on raids specifically on Ragon and Thresian worlds. The typical Asuan (Called the Gik by Ragon soldiers) are stupid and only use melee weapons, while the next stage (The Kas) are smart enough to use guns, then we get to the Kod’s who are the field commanders and then Bigo (Big one) who lead Asuan armies.
[/floatleft]
[floatleft]
Not much, they are just pink skinned humanoids that are hiding the last remnants of Makru’s bloodline. They will be conquered and enslaved for hiding Makru’s family while Joeda and co massacre the last of Marku’s bloodline.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
Seriously, what did you guess? They’re pirates and rebels to the Ragon Empire!
[/floatleft][floatleft]
Though the Ragon and Thresians have a trade and other kinds of agreements those agreements are coming to an end. So war with the Thresians will become possible. The Thresians are Germanic based blue skinned humanoids who are ruled much like the Ragon, they are an empire with an Emperor and a senate based off the Roman senate.
[/floatleft]
Note on naming: Ragon first and last name are combined, for example Ill=First name, Goth=Last name which makes Illgoth.

Noble Houses and slavery
Ragon noble houses form the politicians, generals and manufactures of the Ragon Empire. There are hundreds of noble houses, five major houses are the only ones able to become the warmaster. This used to be six, but this has changed with the passing of time. The Sons of Illgoth get their own house -The So House- which represents them. They also are the houses security. All houses have private security forces normally numbering only a company but major houses may have a three companies strong security forces. The competence of the security forces varies, though their equipment is supplied by the Goths. Noble houses are not easy to create, with the owner having to go through test on wealth, education stability and loyalty to the emperor.
Slaves: Slavery is a part of everyday life for the Ragon, slaves do most of the dangerous jobs and live in Slums called Undercities. Most slaves never see any of the upper world, expect ones chosen to do duties one of which will see an appearance in this RP-The Fevori marksmen-the Fevori are considered one of the best shots in the galaxy and ones who passed indoctrination and are given the duty as snipers and guards of military and political leaders.
People that are a part of houses and have slaves are the Captain, the Juggernaut, the Scientist, and the Commissar.
The Goths:The Goths are a dynasty of Emperors that have ruled the Ragon Empire since the 21st century normally with an iron fist. The Goths are all greedy ego maniacs, at least most of them, and the first Goth, Illgoth who founded the empire and united the Ragon (saving them from extinction) and is treated like a god, the savior of the Ragon people. The Goths are also prevalent in slang such as “By the Goths!”

List of ships
We are all on the Redeemer, this is just a list of ships in the Death Aides fleet.
[floatleft]
The Redeemer is a Hutn-Class Battleship, 800 meters long the Hutn-Class has an impressive armament of Plasma cannons, five missile launchers for Anti-Starfighter duties, ten proton torpedo bays. The Redeemer has been modified by Joeda, with a tractor beam and Interdictor for capturing targets earier. The Hutn has a capacity to carry 2,450 troops and their vehicles, 100 starfighters, 54 bombers and 75 shuttles.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
The Omega Class is the perfect mixture of a gunship with a troop transport. Troop Transports are often unarmed and gunships can carry only four troops at max to save space, the Omega Class addresses this issues by having a slightly larger cargo bay then a gunship but smaller than a troops transport. Joeda used one named Justice as his personnel transport and command post on the field. The Omega class is armed with missiles and a laser cannon.
[/floatleft][floatleft]
