Before I start this: Yes, I just started a thread just 20 minutes ago...I get a lot of ideas.

This idea is set on the Ragon, a warrior-race in my universe, the Gaiaverse. The Ragon homeworld if Bellum (Latin for War) and is a post-apocalyptic wasteland thanks to years of warfare, the most recent one that really made it bad was the war with the Subterranean race called the "Muta's" who are now extinct thanks to the Ragon after forty years of war.

The world is separated into warring clans and peaceful towns trying to survive. The warring clans are just making the situation worse. But there is hope.

In a Trader named Illgoth. The future first emperor of the Ragon empire. This is the story on how he united the Ragon people through war and smart political maneuvering... mostly war.

We will play as his military of sympathizers,co-patriots and people he helped in the early years. Which he separated into legions. This will be us playing as his legions.

Anyone interested?
Hmmm..........I would prefer to be my own race (Probably the Ragon) but that doesn't matter.

Interested.
Hello there everyone, Cpkeyes here with a new RP, set in a new idea of mine, the Dominionverse, which is basically my for fun thing, which I take races from popular sci-fi universes, and mold them into my own thing.

I just came up with the Dominion Marine Corp. Which are 7.1 ft and 360 pounds of pure kick ass. They are based off the Terran marines from Starcraft, and are all convicts, for easy recruiting.

The Dominion Marines form the bulk of the Dominion's fighting force. Of course, they are just infantry, vehicles are trust on good citizens, and the Special Forces, Final Echo, are all made up of rich autocratic sons and daughters of autocrats.

We will play as either companies in a Marine regiment, or one squad (10 Marines) of Marines. It is up to you.

Anyone interested?
I'm going to wait one more day to see if the others are still interested before starting the IC.

Tank Name: Emperor’s RageTank Number: 5Tank type: Punisher Variant Leman RussCrew: Commissar Jericho Mahil (Commander)Corporal Shaz Antioch (Driver)Guardsmen Kal Nahum (Main gunner)Guardsmen Hark Angel (Sponson operator)Guardsmen Lars Obadiah (Sponson operator)Guardsmen Garri Jonah (Loader)Commander Personality: Commissar Mahil inspires terror in his enemies and courage in his allies. Yet the Commissar rarely utters a word. His mere presence is enough to set a unit straight. Commissar Mahil is known for allowing more things to slide than the average Commissar, but when it comes to treachery or retreat, there is no question. If you turn and run without being ordered to do so, you’ll find a bullet in the back of your head. The Commissar is not known for ever showing emotions or fear, although this is because his face is totally covered by a red scarf at all times. The only thing Jericho shows is his golden, piercing eyes.Commander Bio: Commissar Jericho Mahil was born on the hive world of Verghast, in Verinhive. Jericho was the well off son of a Planetary Defense Force colonel and a noble woman. Even at a young age, Jericho was known for his love for the Emperor and for discipline. When he joined the PDF, he was squad’s unofficial political officer due to his attitude towards insubordination. During an attack by bandits on a convoy, Jericho shot his superior officer in the head for “Assisting the enemy.” While most men would’ve been executed for murdering a superior, Jericho was promoted after a large amount of evidence for the officer’s treachery was brought forth by Colonel Mahil. Jericho was recruited by the local Commissariat, and he became an official Imperial Commissar. As a Cadet-Commissar, Jericho served under the infamous Pious Kowle. Although Jericho did his job extremely well, Kowle kept Jericho from the rank of full Commissar for a long time, due to Jericho’s polar opposite style of leadership. Kowle led through propaganda and fear, while Jericho preferred to lead by example. Even with their differing opinions, Kowle eventually promoted Mahil to Junior-Commissar due to his hard work. Jericho was assigned to his first tank crew as a Junior-Commissar. The Leman Russ main battle tank he watched over used to be known for breaking formation and following its own orders. However, after having their officer executed in battle and the Junior Commissar taking over, that specific tank never had another incident. Jericho Mahil enjoyed his first taste at armored combat. The Commissariat, seeing Mahil’s exceptional ability in commanding armor, had him reassigned to the 455th Cadian armored regiment when Jericho was promoted to a full on Commissar.Commissar Mahil has been assigned to the 455th for six years now, and seems to have found himself as a permanent officer in command of a tank. While this was not unheard of, it is a rare occurrence for a Commissar to be assigned to a regiment permanently. Jericho has learned to take his job very seriously. While still considered a rather green tank commander, Mahil makes up for his lack of experience with having a perfectly synchronization with his crew.Upgrades:Pintel-mounted heavy stubberSmoke launchersSponsons consist of two heavy flamers

Accepted.

Also, I may disappear, as my cat is in the vet, and may be put down tomorrow if the medicine doesn't work....

Oh... It's just that you put in the opening post that Lieutenant is the general rank of a Tank commander.

That's for the No.1 tank, No.2 down is sergeant.
Matt, your ranks are a little too high, only I have a Lieutenant as my command.

Ollum, accepted.

There are a fair amount of in universe upgradesThe tank can also be equipped with camouflage netting, extra armour plating, a Hunter-Killer Missile Launcher, improved communications equipment, a mine sweeper, a Pintle-mounted Heavy Stubber or Storm Bolter, a searchlight, track guards, rough terrain modifications, a dozer blade, and smoke launchers. http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Leman_Russ_Tank

Well, I guess we can use those.

Also, I hate what quoting does to the post format, makes it into a mess.

QUESTIONS:I assume canister is available too? (EG. stuff the barrel full of metal marbles propelled by an explosive charge and have fun with a 105mm shotgun)How does outfitting our tanks affect performance? For example does not taking sponsons have benefits? I presume the tank is faster because it is not carrying around two extra heavy bolters plus ammo, crew etc. and slightly better protected due to not having a structural weakness in the form of a sponson shaped hole in the side armour. Given that my primary interest is in scouting I would happily trade in two weapons for the extra speed and protection. Are we allowed to choose upgrades for our tanks? If so, what upgrades are allowed, what is their effect and how do we get to choose them? Improved comms sound very nice for example but if it means I got to literally lose an arm and a leg for it I think I'll pass.PRELIMINARY CS:TANK:Tank Name: CaerbannogTank Number: 7Tank type: Conqueror - hull mounted heavy bolter and no sponsonsCREW:Commander - Sergeant Jacques 'Mad Jack' De VriesDriver - Corporal Frits 'Blitz' FeenstraGunner - Guardsman Frank GoossensLoader - Guardsman Jonas 'Hunk MacSlabmuscle' LubbersRadio operator/hull gunner - Guardsman Willem MaasCommander Personality: GOTTAGOFASTCommander Bio: As implied by his nickname, Jack is considered to be a bit messed up in the head due to always volunteering for scout duty. Cheerful and a great singer his tank is always in the front, leading the charge by zooming through the enemy lines to eliminate support vehicles and highlighting priority targets for heavier vehicles to eliminate.Initially recruited from the agriworld Nendardel, his experience racing tractors made him a great driver. He truly rose to fame during a short but intense conflict with a group of Chaos raiders on the agriworld of Chion VII. During a battle for one of the provincial capitals his Russ had the turret blown off killing both the commander and the gunner and leaving Jack in charge of the tank. Rather than retreat from the unseen tank destroyer or panic he slammed down on the throttle forward and used a dip in the terrain to hide his now much smaller tank. From there, coordinating carefully with the remains of his unit, he managed to sneak into the enemy back lines where, armed solely with a lascannon and bolters he proceeded to sow utter chaos among the lines of the heretics, annoying targets enough so that they would expose vulnerable rear turret armour to other imperial tanks and blasting tracks off tanks with the hull mounted bolter. When asked to comment on his reckless if highly successful run, he reportedly shrugged and replied with 'it was great fun and I'd love to do it again?'.Soon after, he was promoted to commander of the Leman Russ Conqueror the Cearbannog, where he has served ever since together with the surviving comrades from Nendardel. The crew as a whole are best known for two things. The first is their relaxed easy going attitude off duty, being tolerant of quirks of people from other worlds rather than annoyed. Secondly the crew share a small portable garden of plants from their homeworld which can be smoked as a replacement for normal Lho sticks. For obvious reasons this makes them quite popular to be around during extended campaigns.

Sure, you can use canister.

I do imagine not having sponson mounted Heavy Bolters will have an affect on your tanks performance, so that's fine.

I suck at coming up with upgrades, so unless I can think of some or find inuniverse ones , no upgrades.

I can tell I will like this guy, accepted.
