YES. I am so in. Are we all going to have different abilities, or are we all going to have "The Gamer" power?
Ooh, cool. Should I start making a character then? Any idea what role I should fill?
I'm up for it! Will probably need some help with some of the game systems, but I'm still interested.
I'd be interested in playing, I should also be mostly free during those times. Although I am quite new to the play by post concept for DnD and will properly require some guidance in creating a character.

Aside from that, might I ask what time zone you're operating from? That would help see if playing at the same time would be easy to schedule or not.
Markous Lodious in a Secluded Cabin in the Black Hills- Crack of Dawn

“I’m telling you that it was nothing.” A young man shouted angrily as he raised a large axe upwards, “It was a trick of the wind, nothing more.” He finished, his gaze never leaving the log in front of him as he brought the axe down and cleft in half.

“Markous, I’m telling you, that wasn’t nothing.” Another man said, this one noticeably older, wrinkles adorned his face. It was clear by the crow’s feet and laugh lines on is his have that he had spent a lot of his youth happy, but the current cold glare that the man had told nothing of those days. “That was the sp-“

“Shut up!” The young man roared as he spun around to face the elder man, the axe in his hand rising in his anger. “Father, I’m telling you. That was nothing.” He ground out, his face turning red. “It was nothing.”

“If that what you want to tell yourself, then fine.” His father spoke, his voice becoming even colder. “Though, if the people find that you have the sp-“

“Don’t say it!”

“The spark!” His father continued his voice rising to overpower Markous’, “Then I won’t be able to protect you anymore.”

“When have you ever protected me?” Markous asked his voice cynical as he gave his father a piteous glance. “You weren’t there when they bu-“

“Markous that is enough!” His father roared, as he took a step forwards his hand flashing forward to deliver a vicious backhand to Markous’ head. It sent him reeling and he took a step backward both from the pain, and the sheer shock at being struck by his father. “You don’t ever mention that to me, you don’t try and use that to get out of argument.”

“Then when do I mention it!? When do I talk about it!? When those filthy Gor come back to kill us again?” Markous’ own voice began to rise as he too roared at his father. “Time and time again, you refuse to even think about hunting them down, what kind of man are you!? To let the death of your we-“

Another backhand from his father sent Markous tumbling to the ground. His face was sore and Markous was dimly aware that he would no doubt be sporting a bruise on his face the next day. The axe that was in his hands flew wildly before coming to a halt in a nearby tree.

“I said not to mention it again.” His father growled cold fury in his voice. “Go and clear your head, we’ll talk about how we’re going to clean the taint of the spark from you when you get back.”

With that, Markous’ father turned on his heel before stalking off back towards their cabin. Markous sat there in silence, before jumping up; he let out a feral scream of rage and ripped the axe from the tree. Raising it he swung it down towards the ground. The second it made contact a huge tremor rippled through the ground and a tear formed where the axe head was embedded in the ground.

“This.” Markous ground out through gritted teeth, “This is why my life is becoming what it is. This taint.” His eyes darted upwards towards the sky, “You couldn’t just take my mother away from me!? You had to taint me as well!” He shouted upwards.

His breathing rapid, Markous closed his eyes before crumpling to the ground. He raised his axe once more, before letting it drop pathetically to the ground.
“There’s a lake nearby, just go get some water and calm down. The taint won’t be on me forever, there are rumors that if properly dealt with one can be purified.”

Markous consoled himself, as he took slow deep breaths. Shaking his head once, he stood up and headed in the opposite direction from his home, axe in hand, towards the lake.
Sorry, my post should be coming up soon enough. I did have a question though, could you go a little into detail on how exactly an Outburst would look like? Is it similar to that of accidental magic in the Potterverse (e.g. an emotional outburst that triggers the power) or more a kin to that of a sudden realization and usage of power (e.g focusing really hard to light a fire and then it lights) ?

[EDIT]

Annnnnnd, I've posted. I think I went more with the first example that I mentioned, if you'd like I could rewrite it so that it would fit towards the other example or towards something else.

Also, any other notes about my post?
I think I would agree with Halvtand, I would like to start sooner than later...

On a side note, have you tried bumping the Interest Check?
Matthew glanced around wildly. Blood, so much blood. A cheerful sequel of happiness escaped his mouth, before he covered it quickly. Taking in all that had just happened, Matthew took the time to rub some of the blood that had gotten on his shoes off on the floor. It was bliss, it was amazing, and he hadn't gotten to be involved in it at all. Matthew scrunched up his face, before shaking his head quickly. He would be involved somehow, the next time that a body is found, it'll be him who put it there.

Quickly leaping through the hole that Payne had just ripped through the door, Matthew ran up behind Riley. Hearing something about the guards, Matthew ran back to the room and dragged the most intact corpse back towards Riley.

A smile on his face, he dumped the body at Riley's feet, and nodded twice.
Matthew was only slightly annoyed by the fact that everyone chose to ignore him, more importantly though it seemed that someone had made a really cool map.

"Matthew, stay silent." A voice said to him, and whipping his head around, Matthew nodded vigorously at the command. He hopped forward towards the owner of the voice.

"H-" Opening his mouth to speak, Matthew quickly remembered that he was supposed to be silent. Scrunching his face up, Matthew felt a twitch starting to come onto his face. A bright smile then seemed to bloom on Matthew's face, gesticulating wildly, he tried to show that he had no real idea of what power he had, and that he really thought that he wasn't even supposed to be here.

Confident that his message was received (because waving your hands back and forth with no rhyme or reason, is no doubt the perfect way to converse), Matthew nodded twice before leaning over and glancing at the map.

It was beautiful, well drawn and if Matthew squinted and tilted his head to the left at around a forty degree angle, he could swear that it looked to be pure art. A single tear of appreciation ran down his cheek, as he took in the full majesty of the map. Making sure to etch it into his memory, Matthew tore his eyes away to look towards the artist who drew it.

Staring at the man, Matthew sent silent messages of appreciation towards the man's art skills.
Name: Matthew Sana

Alias/Nickname: Divide

Age: 16

Appearance:
Short for his age, Matthew has dark black hair, with bangs that cover his dark almost black eyes. He'll try to wear white clothing, but ends up usually sporting pinkish or red clothing from blood stains. When possible he will bleach his clothing however, so more often or not he will have a full white suit.

Personality:
Matthew is a oddly happy person for the environment that he was raised it. To a degree where he was almost put away not for his powers but purely because of his happiness. He'll smile wide eyed at people who mean him harm, but won't then won't waste a second to break their limbs or crush their bones. Blood thirsty would be putting it lightly. Matthew thrives on causing other people harm, and will do it all while sporting the largest and most innocent smile on his face.

Biography:
They say a serial killer is most dangerous because, they will kill again and again. In the same way, Matthew could be described to be a serial hero. He would roam the streets wielding nothing more than a baseball bat, or a copper pipe, or even just with his own two fists, picking fights with people that he should have no business with fighting, and trying his best to save people's lives. Sure, most of the time the people he "saved" were in no real danger, and the villains he "defeated" were sometime just as innocent (sometime more) as the people he was saving, but to Matthew this was his calling. His white suits which would start the day pristine and clean would be covered in his blood and the blood of his victims by the day's end.

After a quick bleaching, Matthew would start the anew the next day. His parents were long dead, and any family that would have cared about him, didn't even know that Matthew existed. Instead he lived day by day, beating up thugs and living off what he could take from them. Of course, being only sixteen it was only a matter of time before something went wrong.

It was one night on what seemed to be an ordinary day that Matthew, picked a fight with a undercover officer. He was stunned, identified and then found out to be super human. Something that Matthew himself didn't even know about. He was quickly arrested and put away for assaulting an officer. It wasn't long before he was moved to a more secure prison, and it wasn't long before Matthew starting to plot his escape.

Skills:

Fighting: C+: Matthew has not been formally instructed to fight, but has instead picked up all of his skill from fighting on the streets. His style is random and with no specific style, but is focused on breaking limbs and causing as much bleeding from the face as possible. He is a capable of taking on a normal human, while using a weapon.

Street Smarts: B+: Having lived on his own, basically homeless for quite a bit of time, Matthew has developed an ability and awareness of how to survive on the streets. He is acutely aware where to get food, and other resources.

Laundry: A+: Matthew is exceedingly skilled at doing the laundry. He has gained quite a bit of experience from bleaching his suit every day and can now fully clean his clothing from almost anything. He is a bit a fanatic for cleaning however.

Powers:

Cell Division:
The ability to the regenerate damaged cells on will. The takes a rather large mount of energy for Matthew to do, and is limited to only heal only injuries that Matthew is aware of. Matthew can also use this power on other people.
