Aliquam: Cervantés Mansion

The illusionist couldn't help the grin as she was tugged down the hall towards Rose's room. Their leader was way too adorable for her own good- Marcus had better step up his game before Estelle was snatched away by another guy. She couldn't help but wonder whether Marcus was just as clueless as a certain Lulu- she was quite sure that everybody in the Pride knew about the two.

Still, they were focusing on Xan for the moment. "We'll talk later," she whispered back with a wink. "And Xan, do you know where you and Angel are going yet? We'll have to dress you for the occasion after all- ah, this is the room?"

Xan barely had half her warning about checking to see Rose was awake first out before Aria flung open the door with a cheery greeting.

"Gooood morning Rose, how's your ankle- Oh hey, Lulu!" She hadn't expected to see the white-haired virtuoso here as well. She gave him a cheeky grin- was there another brewing date on the horizon? Perhaps she should stay here longer and see if she could bag a guy if even Lulu had managed to pick up girls, being the clueless little cutie he was.

"Hope we're not interrupting anything, but do you have any dresses we can borrow?" Aria addressed the woman again, giving Xan a cheerful pat on the back. "We were hoping you could lend us one since Xan's got a date coming up."
I'mma post after Loopshmoop then ^ O ^

Hope those pesky negatives will sod off soon Rex > <

Brandy sighed as Cello flitted around the couch he and Song were sitting in. The party was in full swing and the castle was filled with important guests of the Queen who were having the time of their lives. The two battered guides, however, would have much preferred to have been allowed to stay in their rooms and rest. The healing potions did wonders and now the wounds the group had accumulated from their journey were gone (though Brandy's ribs still squeaked now and then in protest), and yet the rabbit would hesitate to say that they were all fine. The humans had been hit hard by the deaths of their two companions, and there had been an awkward rift forming between them and the guides as well.

"You know what, I think you guys need a good vacation. Just forget about work, and y'know, chill."

That was actually quite a nice decision. "Perhaps we should take a break," He agreed, sitting up and taking the cup of tea in his hands. He gave the cat a small glower when he ruffled his hair but ignored the overly-touchy action otherwise. "I'll talk to the queen after the party... They shouldn't need us for the next item if it's as easy as you say.' Not to mention that the humans probably needed some time away as well after what had happened in the cabin. Martini had been much quieter than usual after reaching the castle, and had even skipped out on the grandest party the queen has thrown. He couldn't help but worry slightly, but there wasn't much he could do. He spared a glance towards the pink haired human who was surrounded by fawning Nobodies.

The cat finally left and Brandy reclined back, looking beside him to the grumpy Song. Perhaps they could leave and go somewhere quieter? He opened his mouth to ask-

"Songbird, if it isn't my favorite item hunter!"

Fudge dipped celery on a stick.

Brandy twitched, ears twitching at the shrill voice as he turned to greet the newcomer. "Miss Biv," He greeted the colorful woman dryly, only to be interrupted again.

"I've told you, darling, call me Mona! Really, who names someone Roy G. Biv? Horrid name, it is."

"Fine, Mona." He sighed again, then frowned. Song, as bad as a mood as he was in, would feel bad for turning down a dance from anyone. "And I'm we were just about to go to the library." He stood up, wincing as his ribs gave a muffled creak before turning and offering his hand to Song. "so we'll have to turn down your offer to dance. Sorry."

Martini broke the surface of the mini lagoon that encompassed half of her room in the castle, dragging herself onto a comfortable rock and lay there quietly. She smiled at the fishes that poked their heads out of the water and prodded at them, causing them to blow tiny bubbles as they squealed.

She giggled in turn, before her face fall again when she spotted her tail. It was a drab grey now just like the rest of her- the only color left was a pale blue sheen in her eyes as a result of stubbornly using her magic well past her limits. Her fingers and the tips of her tail were even translucent for a time, but she had been recovering quite well. It would be a while before she could use any magic again, however.

The sound of music, muffled by the carved oaken doors of her room drifted into the room and the mermaid tapped her fingers against the rock in beat with the tune and gave a glance at the door. Earlier some of her friends had came by to see whether she had changed her mind and wanted to go to the party after all, which she had merely replied that she was tired before retreating into the bottom of the lagoon. She wasn't really- honestly she had just been too embarrassed to show herself in this condition. It was a silly and shallow reason, but the mermaid just couldn't bring herself to go in case people started laughing at her. And then there was the fact that the humans were there too...

She slid off the rock, sighing and watching as the air bubbles rose to the surface. As much as she had forgiven them, she had been avoiding them since returning to Sol. She had to face them eventually, she knew, but mermaid had no plans on seeking them out just yet.

Aria wandered down the hallway, a piece of toast with butter and jam in one hand and a plate of bacon and eggs in the other. The mansion was as gorgeous as she remembered, but unfortunately it also seemed to be a lot bigger than she remembered. The illusionist paused at a fork, eyes narrowed as she munched thoughtfully. She could've sworn her room was nearby but nothing looked familiar. She didn't want to loiter around for too long- Lulu was in his mother hen mode again, and while she enjoyed breakfast in bed as much as the other girl being fussed over needlessly wasn't too fun. Her injuries weren't even that bad, just some scrapes and bruises.

Luckily for her, the sound of faint voices traveled down the hall and she grinned, resuming in her little morning amble/escape.

"... have a date with Angél tonight, right? We need to get you ready…"

"Yes yes, we certainly do!" She popped around the corner, inwardly grinning when the two girls jumped. Estelle had mostly if not completely recovered and was looking as energetic as usual, while Xan just looked rather embarrassed. To think that her friend was finally going on a date- Aria resisted the urge to wipe away imaginary tears of joy and instead slung her arm around the girl's shoulders. "Look at you, all grown up. And you even managed to get quite the cutie, hm?" She poked the girl's cheek playfully. They were going to need to borrow some clothes if they were going to make a good impression. Perhaps they should go ask Rose if she had any extra dresses that might fit Xan?

"Still can't let you through though. My friends are relying on me."

Persistent woman. Mattis blinked as the Berserker picked herself off the floor, attention focused more on the voices coming through his communicator. He agreed with Jay- It was time to cut their losses and retreat. These guilders were a stubborn bunch for sure.

"It's over." He sighed, running a large hand through his unkempt hair. A loud thump behind him made him turn, only to see Lute falling face flat on the floor. Poor guy must've taken quite a fall from the explosion of wind before. He crouched down, lifting the man by the collar with no more effort as one would a puppy and setting him on his feet. It was too bad they didn't succeed, but nobody had been hurt too badly and that was good enough for him. Except for... He turned his head to the redheaded girl before giving a pointed look to the tall electric man. They had a healer, he was sure, and the mage should look to getting the girl some aid quickly.

He melded into the shadows, much to the anger of the large woman at the door and he couldn't help the twitch of his lips. They'd meet again, he was sure, and the woman would have to wait until then to pummel his lights in. He made his way out the window, setting course to reunite with his friends. Still, he couldn't help but wonder... Was a guilder's job capable of feeding twelve hungry mouths?

The wind ceased without warning, the various pieces of furniture that had been flying around the room raining down onto the mostly decimated seating area below. Luckily Aria managed to avoid the incoming shrapnel and clambered up from the ground, staring in disbelief as Dylan summoned a giant stone fist that crashed through a few walls. Had the artist always been this strong? Her lips quirked up in amusement before running a hand through her hair that had been blown into a mess from the wind.

The thieves left peacefully, having decided that enough was enough. Which was more than could be said for a certain blue-haired aristocrat. She was highly amused to see that he was sporting a slight limp as he ran to where the thieves had left from as a result from a nicely aimed kick from the brat. Instead she turned to jog up to the outer hall where Lulu and his little group had been fighting. It looked as if the damaged from the wind had reached them too, the ornate doors having been blown clean off their hinges.

"Is everyone alright up there?" She called up, slightly out of breathe as she trudged up the last few steps.
