Cuttersbury: Trail towards Drych Lake

One of the reasons she hated dealing with Varrens was that they were so notoriously stupid that she couldn't deal with them like she could with any other pest and scare them away with illusions of their predator. These pests, however, wouldn't know a slime from a wyvern. She ducked as one dove for her face, giving another good kick as it scrambled by her.

"Waahh! Watch out! Comin' through, comin' through!"

"Oi Trixie, try to cover its eyes! I'm sure you can hit it with that fan of yours right?"

"Yeah, leave it to me!" Aria whipped around to face the bucking Varren with the girl on its back. She was quite impressed by how the girl was managing to stay on while avoiding getting skewered. The beast's eyes were covered with some effort and as it came close, bucking and rearing up, she took the chance to aim at the softer underbelly.

"Jump, Trixie!"

The Varren was sent tumbling as Trixie landed safely thanks to the buffs Amy and Marcus had given them. Still, the sheer amount of numbers had them overwhelmed and from the shouts only more were coming.

"Don't these guys have any weaknesses we know? Ow!" A rock thrown by a Varren in a snazzy hat smacked her in the head. Luckily it was rather small and only stung, but she growled at it. "Why you little-"
I'mma post :D
Hey Paper, unfortunately we're not accepting. Thanks for the interest though!

Sacha had been bustling about the kitchen, making sure that everything was fresh and warm and ready to be brought into the garden where the tea table had been set up. He had tried to fit everything into the tea room, but the number of people who were going to be at the party made that impossible. Instead an array of chairs had been lugged out around the biggest table he could find, and streamers and flowers were draped fetchingly over everything. It was a lot of work and while the other hooded figures tried to help with Gary knotting the streamers and Luke setting the tables and C arranging the curtains, Gary ended up tying herself in a knot, the silverware ended up in the strangest arrangements including five spoons per person, and he had to banish C from the kitchen due to all the dust flying around. Luckily, he had others with him.

Mr. Cuddles was also here with him, icing the cupcakes fresh from the oven as Sacha placed another cookie on the platter he was arranging. The bear had been a very big help, as well as some others who were here. Luke's voice calling for him outside had him look to the bear, who gave him a reassuring nod as to say that he would be fine- they were almost done after all, and the man left the kitchen with the platter of cookies.

The moment he stepped out the door, little Rainbowzilla scrambled off of Luke and towards Sacha instead, climbing up his clothing and plopping himself on his head. His rather intimidating height was offset by the frilly pink apron and oven mitt on his right hand as he blinked at the newcomers. It was impressive that they had managed to find their way here with Gary's map (though he guessed his notes on the side would have helped) and he nodded only to frown at the redheaded girl.

"I hope you guys didn't try poisoning the tea or the food."

After spending so much effort on everything? Whatever would give her that notion? He handed a cookie up to the rainbow lizard who had been patting his face with its tail, smiling when he heard happy mewls amidst the crunching. He cringed when he spotted Jasper, that one time with the Green Gloop coming into mind again. He moved closer to Luke just in case she decided to attack again- a platter of cookies being rather poor defense.

"Just in time," He nodded, voice quiet but audible. "Mr. Cuddles is finishing the last of the cupcakes." He gave them another wary glance, before extending the plate of cookies as a gesture of peace. "They're safe," He told them, taking one for himself in an attempt to prove his words.

Lute had corrected Jett on assuming his age before Aria needed to. Instead the illusionist stuck her tongue out at Moira in reply. "I have no idea what you're talking about." She then blinked at Lulu's own reply, hiding a snort of laughter. "No, I don't think the loss of clothing's going to be happening. Maybe." With the Pride, it was hard to make assumptions.

When Jett started his enthusiastic repetition of his simple question, Aria's smile never wavered. This was most likely due to the fact that she had sidled up next to Lute and was walking shoulder to shoulder with him, a small tug on his sleeve being a silent request for him to extend his little barrier of quietness to her as well. The threats and shouting were very nicely muffled, allowing her to enjoy the fresh air in peace while ignoring the hullabaloo around the two.

Due to the sound barrier, howeber. it wasn't until she realized that the group had stopped and was slowly drawing their weapons that she realized something was wrong. Lute noticed the same time she did, lowering the shield until they could both hear clicking. The sound was unfortunately a familiar one and she twitched, not having expected them to pop up already. It must really be a severe infestation if they were showing up this far from the spa!

She had barely drawn her weapons when the ground gave away under them. Somehow the woman managed to keep her footing and as the dust settled she gaped at the Varrens. When had they started wearing clothing? Or posing? Were Varrens bros?

The guilders were outnumbered and surrounded, and Aria block a slash with her fan, slicing at the creature with the other only for it to kick off of her weapon and dodging. She wasn't sure if they would be able to fend this many off, mind whirring instead for any alternative possible options while dodging rocks and trying not to get hit by any of the beast's attacks.

Think, think!

Cuttersbury: Guild

Judging by Amy's face, she wasn't the only who was still trying to get over what had happened the last time they had drank too much.

"Yes, definitely. I don't want a repeat of that, ever." She agreed vehemently, head nodding. "I wouldn't doubt it if the Gods were involved last time with how things ended up turning out." Especially waking up on a rooftop in- eeeeew. Even now she couldn't quite piece together what had happened.

"Ey, Ree, what you think?"

Moira's voice had her turning in curiousity. "What I think on... Ah." She bit back a huff of laughter at Quentin's face- he looked rather disturbed. Did Moira accidentally scare the poor man or something? Putting that thought aside, she played along and gave the man an exaggerated once over, humming in thought.

"Very nice to meet you, cutie," she emphasized the word teasingly. "Aria Corvus, at your service." She gave a small mock curtsey, then looked over his shoulder at Moira with a grin. "I dunno, I think he might fit the name. Though I still think the cutest one is our resident flower fairy over there." She nodded in Lulu's direction with a laugh. "Maybe he can be cutie number two. What do you think?" She gave the mage a wink, this one much less painful to the soul than Moira's was.
I must say I enjoyed KLK quite a bit, hurhuhr. And aww, Amy c:
