Again, just looking at ways out if we get stuck. To be fair, neither of us planned to be in this situation.

Part of why I was seeking a partner for this op was for backup in the event something unexpected happened. And while I was expecting that to mean something more adrenaline-pumping, I definitely don’t regret it. Sorry for dragging you into this, but I’m glad I’m not alone.
*Presses a button to the elevator*
<Snipped quote by Crew>

We could use that to write out a message to them... adding to the phantasmic feel.

Is that best, though? I really don’t want to be caught in here if it can be avoided. The heads of the Cerberus family can be a bit unforgiving.

...I'll go ahead and say it. It's like we're ghosts.

That’s exactly what it is. To people, anyway. To random objects, doesn’t seem that way.
*Nudges a pen on the receptionist’s desk, rolling it across*

*Taps against the cosmic wall*
I’ve never seen anything like this.

I’d be more concerned if you had.
*A humanoid wisp walks through you, as though leaving the building. They stop for a second when they do, turning their head to stare at you with tense body language for just a moment before shaking their head and disappearing into the void, the door closing behind them.*
<Snipped quote by Crew>

Can you send a message to anyone outside to let them know what’s going on?

Something tells me that would be too easy.
*Pulls out a thin, clear device that seems to be pretty much entirely just a screen*

Yeah, was too easy. Nothing’s getting out.
<Snipped quote by Crew>

Whatever this is, it’s not interfering with my data.

I imagine that’s a good thing, then.
*The lobby’s lights flicker, and almost seem to dim a bit, but nothing that happens generates any sound unless we are the source*
Question is, do we wait for an attack, or try to seek them out?
<Snipped quote by Crew>

...
*Holds out my arm and experimentally attempts to load the data for a cannon weapon*

*It loads without issue*
<Snipped quote by Crew>

I'm completely in the dark when it comes to metaphysical effects like whatever this is.

We can work through this together. And if it’s any consolation, with these being targeted attacks on IA organizations… The killer probably only wants one of us.
<Snipped quote by Crew>

I may be out of my league, here...

Don’t lose your head. We don’t know anything yet.
<Snipped quote by Crew>

*Walks to the front of the room and inspects the wall of cosmos*

*It appears exactly as it did from a distance, as though peering into the night sky with no light pollution. It emits no sound either, and neither does anything else in the building when it should.*
I at least get the idea this is some kind of effect and not actually destroying anything or hurting anyone.
*Goes and stands in front of the reception desk, looking down at a black wisp in the shape of humanoid figure where the receptionist would be, then looks around at the rest of the lobby, taking in the dead silence*
