Very well... Allow me to make a list of character concepts. Please note, they will be in different formats as none of them are from X-Men, but it's no problem to tweak their powers and story.
I like this power. A lot of interesting applications:
This Paramecia-Type Devil Fruit allows the user to “read” the natural invisible energy waves everything gives off, as well as the ability to manipulate this energy, which is normally impossible to do. These Auras manifest as colored, translucent, slightly larger images of objects or people that increase in intenseness the tougher the subject is. They can be as intangible as mist (an Aura) or as hard as steel (a Hard-Light Construct). While normally invisible to all, when the user uses their ability, the Auras and HLCs are visible to all in the area. In combat the user can read an opponent’s rhythm and predict their next attack from their Aura. It’s only 80% accurate though. The user can also form HLCs of themselves to strike an enemy from a distance, surround their arms, legs, or weapon to increase their power, surround their body as a shield, or create secondary and tertiary strikes following their own primary attack to enhance the force. It is possible to alter the shape and size of these HLCs, allowing the user to give a dull object an impossibly sharp edge and even create HLCs from nothing, as they normally can’t move farther than two feet from the object they are shaped like. The weakness of this fruit is that the user can’t “see” Auras with their physical eyes, but with their mind’s eye, and as a result can be very clumsy in combat if they aren’t paying attention. Also, HLCs only stick around as long as the user is focusing on them. The more they uses the more fragile they are (One is hard as steel, two are hard as stone, three are hard as a very tough human, four are fragile as an untrained human, five are fragile as a human baby, six are fragile as a leaf, and seven are as fragile as wet paper), so it’s best to only use three HLCs at once, except during Ultimate attacks which can use the maximum HLCs (7) at once, and since they would only be concentrating on the HLCs, the target, and themselves, the toughness raised from wet paper to diamond
This one.. I'm iffy on. While I find the concept absolutly amazing... it kinda seems... over the top. And depending, can be op. Still really cool though (note, it's just the power I'd bring in, the rest is specific to the character the power came from)
Powers: The ability to manifest computer data into reality by a technique called “Data Resolution”. Drake is also an expert martial artist and possesses an outstanding level of genius intellect, far surpassing anyone in history.
Equipment: Hundreds of special microchips called Rezchips that hold the data for his Data Resolution technique. In order to use these, one must use a handheld device called a Rezzer. Drake has one emergency Rezzer clipped to his belt at all times. Drake lost his right arm and forelegs in an accident and utilizes a metal arm and metal forelegs. Drake possesses 3 versions of his metal limbs. The first is the “Civilian” limbs. They are just normal prosthetic limbs. Nothing special is added and the limbs have the same strength as a normal arm and normal legs. There is a pop-out shelf in the arm with five slots to hold Rezchips, and one Rezzer slot in the wrist. Then there are the “Combat” limbs. These don’t add any armor or anything, but instead add in all the mechanics missing from the Civilian model. These additions give the arm enhanced strength, increase the slots for Rezchips to ten by adding a second shelf, and add a second Rezzer slot beside the first. They also allow a special punch called the “Piston Punch” where Drake pulls the pistons that power his arm back and punches something. The pistons release and create a massive forward force three times as strong as the initial punch. The third is the “Heavy Arms”. This upgrade adds armor to both arms, with a strip running across his shoulder blades connecting them. The Rezzer on his wrist is increased to four slots and a second Rezzer is added to his left arm, also with four slots. The left arm also gains two pop-out shelves, each with five slots to hold Rezchips. Finally he has the “Ultimax Armor”. This upgrade covers his whole body in slim armor with several Rezchip slots, giving him quick access to all his chips. In addition to the upgrades, he has tons of equipment and weapons he has “derezzed” into data. The data is held in Rezchips kept in a case kept in another Rezchip kept in his chest plate along with the Rezchips for his Combat limbs, Heavy Arms, and Ultimax Armor. He has duplicated all the chips and holds the duplicates in his Ultimax Armor. He also possesses a “data chair”, a floating computer chair made of nanobots, bonded to his DNA. The data chair holds all of the original data for everything Drake has ever rezzed. Unfortunately the chair is incapable of producing Rezchips without the chip maker back in his lab, which no matter how hard he tries, cannot be rezzed, due to the unique energy signature produced by the device, which scrambles the derezzer, preventing the device from being broken down into data. And he can’t rez his lab either due to the sheer amount of data stored. It would take up a full thirty-two Rezchips and even with his Ultimax Armor, he could only rez nine chips at a time.
And if you think Data rezzing is op, just for shits and giggles, check out this guy:
Powers: Max is a Spirit (a Ghost charged with Divine Magic) possessing his own Revenant (a deceased body reanimated by Demonic Magic). The resulting creature is known as a Wraith, and is unique in that it belongs to both the Light and the Dark as it is infused with both holy and demonic energy. As his body is already dead and Ghosts are eternal, he does not age or decay, almost as if he was still alive. He can turn invisible and intangible to pass through physical matter. He possesses telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, hydrokinesis, cyrokinesis, and biokinesis which allows him to alter his body on a molecular level, transforming him however he chooses, even into an animal, but he must remain roughly the same size. He is also capable of astral projection (which is really just de-possessing his body). During projection he can possess another organic being, living or not, or any technology, granting him full access, which he can also do from a distance. Lastly, he is impossible to kill. He can be exorcised, but will shortly return to his body, which is his anchor to the world. If his body is destroyed, so long as he has a reason to return to the realm of the living, his body will regenerate and his Spirit will return. He is susceptible to divine sealing and demonic binding, but given enough time, can free himself. Luckily, his partner, Amoira, can undo seals and binds.
Equipment: A vast assortment of demon-hunting weaponry hidden in special caches around the city, but he constantly carries two retractable short swords, one made of a special blessed light alloy gifted to him by Eli, the other made of a special cursed midnight alloy gifted to him by Lucifer, as well as a mutagenic pistol reversed engineered from the holy and demonic alloy of his swords by his tech-specialist, a Werewolf named Luken. It has unlimited ammo and can switch between holy rounds, cursed rounds, and ballistics, depending on the situation. Most impressive is its ability to become any type of weapon based on Max’s mental commands, be it automatic, semi-auto, sniper, dual, or artillery, so long as he can hold it and wield it effectively.
Sad thing is... in his universe, he's AVERAGE. Anyways, I'm NOT using him here. I just felt like sharing that.
I also have an idea for a blind swordsman who can manipulate vibrations. But the guild is being stupid so I can snag it.
